My husband Laurence is from Barnsley so we're quite regular visitors to see family and he was familiar with the apartment's location as the old Barnsley Permanent Building Society - you could not be more central with a great view of the Town Hall. The building has been sensitively restored into a majestic apartment block and the flat itself is lovely: tastefully decorated, well equipped, spotlessly clean with a really comfy bed and great towels. You can tell that David has put a lot of care and attention in making a genuine home from home so its perfect if you're staying for a flying visit like we were or a longer stay. It's in staggering distance of all the bars and restaurants and we absolutely loved it! Will definitely stay again.

Handy place to stay for family reasons and close to motorway. Clean and good value, think little touch ups to the bathroom like new radiator or just one that's not rusty looking. We had issues with WiFi very hit and miss kept dropping and freezing. parking is great and considering it's a flat you can't hear any of the other residents, felt safe and secure x

We were late check in at 10:30pm. Grace still has replied to me promptly and guided us to the apartment. She is very considerate and let us staying until 12pm on the next day. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Thank you very much.

If you are visiting the area, I can highly recommend Gary and Jane’s apartment. The central location is fantastic, the views are amazing, the secure parking is superb, but most of all the flat itself is absolutely lovely. The pictures don’t do it justice to be honest, as the place is far bigger in reality than it looks. It has everything you need for a really comfortable stay in Wakefield. I visit family in the area several times a year, and I will absolutely book this again if it’s available. Gary and Jane are very very responsive on messages too, which is excellent. A first class service all round.

The apartment is as described - cosy, compact and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thought has gone into details - such as nice toiletries in the bathroom and a ‘Struggling to sleep’ box by the bed. Andy, the host, was helpful and easy to contact. Another great stay here and I would love to come back again if I am in the area. Thank you Andy.

I had a great time in this place. The property is in a rural area but 5 minutes from the city. Beautiful views of the countryside from the garden because the house is in the hills. The place is an annex to the main house, an old house but well maintained, it's prepared for 2 people but it has lots of space with kitchen+livingroom+bedroom+bathroom. It has a lockbox for self checkin but anyways the hosts waited for me, welcomed me and gave me lots of instructions and tips, and they made everything to be sure I was confortable in the place.

We enjoyed our stay. Phil was very accommodating and the apartment perfect for our needs. We had stayed in another of Phil's apartment before so we knew exactly where to go.

Aaron is an excellent host. We stayed for a month with our dog. We were made to feel welcome from the start to the end of our visit. The accommodation is great we felt comfortable and relaxed. The location is good for shops, takeaways and not far from the city centre. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Aaron.

We are a family of 5 two adults, 2 kids and a baby. This apartment was a perfect size for us. A nice big living room and decent size bedrooms and beds. We were very comfortable and happy. Having two toilets in the property was nice too. The kitchen was very well equipped with coffee, tea, salt etc little things like that which i had brought with me were there already which was nice. We didn’t cook in the property as we have family near by so had evening meals with them but if I had to I could cook an evening meal happily in the kitchen. Property very clean and cosy. Holly was quick at responding and very friendly! Will definitely stay again when visiting family.

An excellent stay in central Leeds with the added benefit of free parking. The flat is comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the shops and restaurant below. Warm and well supplied. Easily walkable to all central locations.

Lovely little space. Well laid out, clean, comfortable and well appointed. April and John are very good communicators, and always leave some very welcome extra supplies. Another lovely stay at Rose Cottage. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was walking distance to family we were visiting and all amenities you could need, including train station and bus links. The apartment was very modern and spotlessly clean and lovely views out to the church, river, hills etc. I loved that both bedrooms had dressing tables and stools, as I have stayed in so many other places where there hasn’t been one even in the master bedroom. The apartment also had a lovely feel to it. Victoria was very helpful and prompt to respond, we would definitely stay again when we next visit.

We often need to be in Todmorden when visiting family. Kerry’s place is our first choice, well placed and easy to find parking. Kerry is friendly and communicates well. We have all we need at Nobel Nook for a short visit.

We love Bevs’ place. We are big fans and keep on returning whenever we are in Yorkshire. Totally recommend. What an amazing view!

Luke and his team were very responsive and great communicators. They provided a home like environment, away from home. Centrally located for all of my family's needs and allowed my kids to focus on their football trainings and school. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay in Grace’s place. We stayed for one night on a journey up to Newcastle and thought the space was perfect. Everything was as described and clean. We had a nice meal at the local greek restaurant which was very quick to walk to and there are plenty of nice places to eat and drink nearby within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment is lovely, clean and airy, great location and super easy to get to, we couldn’t fault any part of our stay in lovely Halifax. But better than that as a host Daniel was very helpful, very nice to deal with and very quick to respond when we had a question. Could y recommend this lovely accommodation higher!!!

Stayed at this place for a month and it was a great location. You do need a car but I guess if you’re travelling in the area you need one anyway. Overall a great stay well worth it and was excellent for our family trip to the UK from Australia.

We had a lovely stay, the flat was spotless and in the perfect location to explore Penistone and surrounding areas. Easy free parking nearby and everything you need on your doorstep. We would highly recommend!
