Wir haben es geliebt. Das Essen war mega lecker, die Sunsettour war magisch und die Gastgeber super freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt & können die Unterkunft und die herzlichen Gastgeber sehr empfehlen;)

Prachtige tent en uitzicht. Leuke voorzieningen voor de kinderen, warm water en leuke glijbaantjes. De breakfast en braai baskets waren super. Pizza’s vonden we tegenvallen, maar wel fijn dat het mogelijk was. Hottub leuk, duurt wel paar uur om op te warmen. Mooie locatie, wel afgelegen en half uur van Swellendam.

Amazing location thanks Natalie we will definitely be back. Incredible views with direct access to Karatara river and Swartvlei. Beautiful kayaking or sailing spot with lots of birdlife. Simple facilities provided exactly as the description lists but you really don't need anything more.

We loved our time at this beautiful spot hidden in the Knysna forest. The rustic vibe was perfect with open forest showers, clean tents, comfy beds and kind hosts. The amenities were exactly as described and we enjoyed the peaceful and natural space. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We would love to come again!

Great value for money. Beautiful tent with an amazing bathroom. Outside shower was fantastic. One thing to note is that tent 9 and tent 10 are in an area with a pool with no net so parents with young children might want to choose the other tents if their children aren't water safe. A great stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Olaf, merci pour l'accueil qui nous a était fait La ferme est magnifique et très bien entretenu, vous pouvez en profiter sans qu'elle soit invasive a votre logement Le logement était parfait et très propre Le point de vue était extraordinaire que ce soit sur la belle propriété d'Olaf ou sur le parc Addo Nous avons pu nous balader et voir autruche, girafe, kudu, phacochère, et plein d'autres animaux Calme reposant parfait pour un séjour a prolonger

Such a beautiful spot to stay at. We DEFINITELY relaxed and enjoyed tne slowness of life while staying at the retro van. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We got what we paid for, good-value for money. Honest, down-to-earth folks. Host & guest were welcoming, peaceful surroundings, a lively bird-life and nests, and a minute from a national highway. Old caravan was tall enough & comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Power went out but the host had warned us & it was beyond their control. 100% met our needs for a nights 'hi way resting place'.

Awesome and unique stay. A great option if you have a dog. The drive in through the forest is beautiful and John is very warm and welcoming. I dropped in one night on my way up to PE to visit family and then stayed three nights on my way back. Great value for money.

It was such a pleasure and gift to stay in Uys and Marina’s place. It is such a nice space and the hosts are amazing, it was just meant to be. Ofcourse you need to enjoy a bit of camping lifestyle and “challenges”. 😉 Definitely will be visiting again and feel like i found more new beautiful conscious souls in the Cape.

Really really nice place to get away from busy city life. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge area with a view of the outside, and especially stargazing at night due to very little light pollution from the surrounding areas. Bonnie was also really helpful, he met us for check-in and did regular follow-ups to ensure we were sorted.

A very fortunate find just outside of East London on the most beautiful farm with direct access to the beach! Wish we had stayed longer. The hosts were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you for a great stay, will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Jo’s Barn-a-Bus! The farm is a peaceful haven filled with adorable rescue animals, and Jo was a warm and thoughtful host. My 7-year-old daughter loved meeting the alpacas, tortoises, and especially the puppies! The bus was cozy, quirky, and had everything we needed. A truly special and memorable experience - highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique farm escape!

The bowtop was really something special. It’s cosy, unique, and kitted out incredibly well. The hosts put so much thought into it. We had everything we needed and more! The garden and surroundings are beautiful and make you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere whilst still being in walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. It is very private. Perfect for a romantic weekend away. Highly recommended!

Gerhard has a beautiful little spot in the mountain ranges above Sedgefield. Completely off grid and very inviting. The space was very clean and well organised. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of a disconnect into nature.

As a family who has been to quite a couple of places in and around the Western Cape on regular breakaways, this is certainly our best find yet!!!! The kids loved it! It was fun, private and peaceful, with the best quality Karoo vibes! The only thing we will change next time… we will stay for longer!!! 🫶
