Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has a wonderful layout… allowed for our family to have good quality time together, but also have our own soace. Wonderful that each bedroom had their own bathroom and each room was beautiful! We loved the outside area- the pool and kayaks made for such fun and good memories. Thank you Darren, we are hoping to come back soon 🙂

Eine kleine Oase ist dieses schön gestaltete Cottage. Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Alles ist sehr großzügig und offen gestaltet. Vor dem großen Wohnbereich mit Küche und Esstisch war eine große Terrasse mit mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten und daran anschließend eine Rasenfläche mit einem Pool, welche sich bis zu einem Fluss hin erstreckte. Hier hatte man auch die Möglichkeit, ein Kanu zu nutzen. Ein Schlafzimmer hatte ein integriertes Badezimmer, das zweite Schlafzimmer ein separates Bad. Neu installierte Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern rundeten das Ganze ab. Sophia hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und hat auch eine Safari für uns gebucht, welche ganz fantastisch war. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Grandiose Aussicht auf das Meer und wir konnten immer wieder mal Wale und Delfine beobachten. Vom Haus gibt es einen direkten Zugang zum Cliff Path, auf dem man kilometerweit joggen oder zum nahe gelegenen Nature Reserve wandern kann. Wenn es für die meerseitige Terrasse mal zu stürmisch ist, gibt es noch einen geschützten Wintergarten mit Grillplatz. Das Haus ist auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr gut ausgestattet und durch einen Sicherheitsdienst alarmgesichert.

Great stay. Clean, well equipped property that matched its description. Hosts responsive and helpful. Easy walk to the Waterfront. Thank you also for making a kayak available to us. Good fun.

We booked The Nest for the second time. Fantastic location on Leisure Island, great and private terrace. Only thing that might be considered, the bed is pretty small.

The venue is beautiful designed so much space with different areas yet not huge. Host was always helpful and responded quickly. We loved the house it was a home

We were a group of 5 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ferrybridge House. The setting is beautiful overlooking the river and mountains as was the incredible birdlife while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is spotless, secure and has everything one needs. Stanford village is charming, we walked along the river and had an exceptional supper at Rivergate farm as per your recommendation. we will definitely be back

beautiful house on the banks of the river. comfortable even for a big family. spacious ,with modern finishes. loved the canoeing kids loved the nearby beach approx 1.2km from the house as well. nearest good shop is in port alfred though we didn't need anything in our 3 days . time went so fast wish we could start it all again lol.

We planned a riverside getaway with some friends and a boat. House has a lovely deck overlooking the river and floating jetty- we spend many hours there. The house itself is really well suited for a family. It has ample outdoor furniture and deck space to enjoy. The Nespresso machine was a treat. The area is safe and quiet, neighbours are close, but never felt intrusive. The house has access to a well kept slipway- launching a smallish boat with a 4x4 was pretty straight forward. Reaching the house with a 2x4 is possible, but would recommend using a 4x4.

I booked on behalf of my daughter. She highly recommends this place. beautiful views! There is so much to do. The cottage is stunning and has everything you need. I will definitely put this place on my to-do list!

A unique and fascinating experience. The huge remote property has history, bushman petroglyphs, game and lovely vista's. Owner Stevie was great company for his tour of the property and our first chance to really talk with a well-connected SA person. There are apparently several houses for booking on the property, depending how deep into the valley you want to go. Our cabana was much more stylish and new than pictures indicate. A couple notes: the cabin includes hot tub AND a plunge pool. No AC so you may find really hot days intolerable. Finally, the last hour of road there is rough (corrugated) gravel. To really explore the inner valley you need an off-road capable vehicle.

Great hosts, that went out of their way to accommodate us. Beautiful surroundings and accommodation was perfect.

Es is herrlich: morgens aufzustehen, ein Schritt und schon ist man auf der Terasse mit dem schönen Blick auf das Meer und dann noch einen Schritt weiter man ist schon am Strand: Anfang Februar fast alleine! Wenn nicht das Wasser so kalt wäre! Ein toller Platz runterzukommen und zu chillen! Aber ohne Auto keine Chance! Supermarkt, Cafes und Restaurants sind schon einige Kilometer entfernt. Aber das Restaurant DI SEE KAT in Paternoster ist ein MUSS!

Ah! Martine and Rene’s home was absolutely perfect for our little family of four. It’s a magical slice of the mountain with a tortoise sanctuary, beautiful playground, trampoline and stunning view. Inside, all the creature comforts are there - AC, double-head shower, audio player, dimming lights, relaxing deck…was amazing. Rene’s hospitality was beyond. He allowed us the use of some boogie boards and a beach umbrella for our beach day which were all fabulous to have. He helped us with local hangouts and hot spots. Such a warm and homey place all around! Thank you again, Rene and Martine!

Outstanding stay! Well equipped quaint space with all necessities .Super easy self check in and friendly staff - Great service from staff at this establishment. The cabin was beautifully decorated from the room to the hot tub. The space was very neat and clean and while being surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the Knysna lagoon. The hot tub was heated prior to our arrival and while we were out.. our host was very friendly and made sure to check in . An amazing stay with an authentic experience.

Firstly, Lorraine was a terrific host, her communication excellent, her thoughtfulness about warning us about impending load shedding and helpfulness with finding and sending items we left behind. Secondly the cabin was exactly as expected and advertised. It was cosy, very comfortable and slightly quirky. Exactly what we hoped. The outdoor living spaces are absolutely fantastic.

We had the most lovely stay at Lalapanzi, the cabin exceeded our expectations and the surroundings and views were so beautiful and tranquil! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts for your hospitality!

All I can say after staying here is wow! Everything has been so thought out. The place was immaculate and any additional extras were there on site if needed. We enjoyed a paddle while watching the rhino graze nearby. Will be recommending it in the future for friends to stay at for sure!

We had a lovely farm stay! Candice and Lea were very welcoming and friendly. Awesome little cottage with everything you need. Even heard the lions from the neighbouring farm roar during the nights. Thank You!

We had a great time at this amazing venue. The nature and birdlife surrounding the coffee cabin made it feel super peaceful and relaxing. Just a short distance from the beach with an amazing view of the river. Would highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing getaway.
