Beautifully done-up country stay with all the comforts you actually want. The house was spotless, the furnishings felt recently refreshed (without trying too hard), and every bed—yes, even the singles—was cloud-level comfy with great pillows. You can tell it’s a place where the host genuinely cares, not one of those places where the spare room gets a dodgy old mattress and a pancake pillow. Gay-Lea was consistently lovely—friendly, thoughtful, and super helpful without ever being overbearing. It’s still a rural spot (hello frogs and cricket choirs), but that just added to the charm. Easy instructions, well-priced, and all round a relaxed, quality stay. Would happily head back.

Sharnie was an amazing host, we arrived early and Sharnie was so helpful and accommodating. Her place was really lovely, beautiful views and lovely deck to sit and relax. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. It suits a couple or single as you would feel safe and comfortable there. Easy drive to pub for steak/dinner or to Bell 4km Pips and Cherry awesome eggs benny, 30km to Bunya mountains for a walk in the forest, Bunya pub grub. This place is steeped in 7 generations of Australian history. The story is there in books on the table. Apart from the leafy, breezy location you can go on a tour if you are interested in learning more about how an Angus stud property works. The science involved is mind boggling. Depending on your reason for a visit. It's a great cosy atmosphere for romance or to unwind, relax, destress and read.

This was our last stop for our honeymoon and it was amazing! So quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is amazing and so cosy. It makes you want to cook delicious meals. It was in the low 30s when we stayed and no aircon was needed. We opened the windows and doors and the breeze went through the cottage. The cottage has such rich history, Helen and David put a lot of effort into restoring it. It has such a beautiful rustic charm. There was a lovely family of magpies we watched during the day. We saw some Kangaroos. We elected to do the farm tour with Helen and David and they made us feel so welcome. The farm is amazing and beautiful! The whole family is lovely! The family has been on the farm for 120 years and there is so much history. It is very special staying on a farm with the history it has. Thank you so much Helen and David! We will definitely be back. 😁

Fabulous spacious area, clean and well equipped with cooking utensils, pantry and bathroom! We stayed for the campdraft and it was a fabulous close space for a group of multi ages in our family. Thanks for your hospitality!

We honestly can't thank Julie enough. We had an unplanned visit due to being recommended to evacuate our home on the coast due to cyclone Alfred. I was so lucky to find Julie's Airbnb and being pet friendly we could bring our pets with us. It's a fantastic home away from home. Heaps of space, air-conditioned and clean. Great sized kitchen with a big fridge and dishwasher. Everything you could want or need. The pub is about 2 mins walk away and the food was phenomenal! so that's a bonus. We will be back for sure.

The cottage is very clean, and well appointed. Catherine is a very welcoming lady, and made sure I was comfortable during my stay. This is the second time I have stayed there, and recommend it highly.
