Fabulous hut in a glorious location. It has everything we needed and was beautifully clean. The host was extremely helpful and answered so quickly any questions. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ben's Hut! We loved the accommodation; it was cosy, comfortable and completely unique - and the landscape and views were wonderful. A really memorable stay!

What a fantastic oasis of tranquility to visit. Terry and Jenny are excellent hosts and could not do more for you. The huts were all styled beautifully and were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail is fantastic and Jenny has thought of everything. Sitting by the firepit at night, with a glass in hand listening to the owls was priceless. Florence, Hector and the dogs were just an added bonus. We will definitely return.

Really lovely few days spent here - I got all the weathers, but it didn't spoil it one bit! Totally secluded, which is what I was after, but still with a proper bathroom and kitchen to hand, to could just completely relax and stay in. Cosy evenings with log burner roaring - very efficient and warmed up the hut quickly! Birds and squirrels visited the feeding station each morning, so felt very Snow White, and could hear owl at nighttime. As in other review: There are no plug sockets - None. So come fully charged and with charged up power packs, in case of emergency if you venture out (though, I recharged at pubs/cafes when I was out!) Beautiful views, quiet, secluded spot - You will completely relax here!

We loved our stay at Katie & Anna’s Shepherds hut. The orchard was lovely to sit in during the light evenings & the hut was clean and cosy.

We had the loveliest stay at Sally’s Shepard’s hut. It’s so peaceful and quiet, with a lovely view over the countryside fields, there’s lots of lovely walks, pubs and cafes nearby, but it’s also the perfect place to relax. The hut has everything you need, (and more!) and was so cosy even in rainy February. Sally and her partner were so accommodating and helpful (even coming to help when we stupidly got our car stuck in mud!!!). We cannot recommend this place more highly :)

We had a wonderful stay here at Michelle’s beautiful home. It was cosy, clean and exactly what we were looking for whilst needing a relaxing break! Michelle’s communication and kindness was outstanding, we look forward to coming back! Thank you for your hospitality!

The Shepherd’s Hut, build by David and furnished by Emma was a delight to stay in. We were extremely comfortable and appreciated the tasteful fixtures and fittings. On arrival there was milk and water in the fridge and delicious biscuits too. We enjoyed a cup of tea outside on decking in wonderful sunshine. There was plenty of hot water too. We appreciated the excellent communications from Emma before and during our stay. The location meant that we could walk through beautiful countryside and delightful villages as well as visit some National Trust properties. Thank you both for a fabulous stay.

Had a lovely stay at Minnels farm. Shepherd hut was as described. Very cosy and quaint. beautiful surroundings and a lovely view outside the hut. hot tub was incredible and facilities very comfortable. Liz the host was very proactive with her instructions and made everything easy.

A wonderful stay at Donna’s, with beautiful surroundings. We had such a relaxing time and would definitely go back again! Donna was a friendly, helpful host and made us feel right at home and very welcome!

Lovely stay at the shepherds hut. Annette couldn’t have been more helpful or more welcoming. She had even left us two eggs and some milk for breakfast. The smallholding was very picturesque, with rare breed pigs, hens, and sheep: truly idyllic. The hut itself was exquisitely tasteful and extremely cosy. The fleece bedding was a great touch! We didn’t even have to light the log burner or use the extra blankets provided.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The hut itself was done to a beautiful standard and was extremely clean. The location was absolutely stunning and we felt relaxed immediately. Tom was extremely efficient with communicating and ensured that check-in was easy. Moreover, the option to purchase more logs was a great addition to the beautiful location. The bed was very comfortable and all the necessities in the kitchen were perfect. Overall, I would definitely come back and recommend this for a peaceful break away.

Julie was incredibly welcoming and helped us with lots of local recommendations. The hot tub was so relaxing and in a cosy, well decorated garden area. Make sure to check out the local pub which is full of super friendly and welcoming locals. The bed is comfy and the place is nice and clean.

A gorgeous stay at Rachel's hut! It had everything we could need - even head torches which we took advantage of for our sunset hike! The location is so peaceful, perfect for relaxing but easily accessible too and a fab base for exploring nearby and further areas. Rachel was easy to reach with any queries and responded quickly. Perfect! We will definitely be back ☺️

Our second visit to Meleri’s place was awesome again, the cabin is great and Meleri has been so kind and thoughtful with the finishing touches to make the stay such a great experience. Super views and easy access to the coast. I’m sure we will be back!

What a wonderful little escape not far from home. We loved every single second and cannot wait to come back! Hosts were brilliant and quickly responded to any queries I had. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape realist for a few days.

Where to start... coming from a busy lifestyle and searching for a sense of peace and tranquility, search no further than here! From the moment pulling up I had the biggest smile on ny face. Surrounded all angles by blooming yellow rapeseed feilds, abundent with pheasants, deer and hare as well as a miriad of smaller bird species - this place was my heaven on earth! The accommodation was perfeclty sized and fully equipt with everything I needed and more for my stay. The sofa and bed are extremely comfortable, while the modern style bathroom is anything but what you may expect to find in a small shepherds hut. Carolyn was a gracious and attentive host throughout the experience. Her and her husband have created a beautiful space for those looking to escape to the country.

Wow! We had the most peaceful, relaxing stay at rivermead hut. The hut is perfect. It has everything you need and was clean and tidy. We used the gas BBQ to cook dinner and sat outside to eat. The hot tub was perfect, easy to use and good temperature. At night we lit the fire pit which had been set up already and used the logs provided. The lights came on once dark which is a lovely touch. Great shower and comfy bed. In the morning we used the electric hob to make breakfast which was simple to use. There was milk, tea bags, sugar and coffee provided. Great communication from the host. The location is great and it is private and peaceful. I am so happy we chose to stay at Rivermead hut. We 100% recommend Rivemead hut and we would come back again. Thank you ☺️
