It was really lovely to see the Cuckoo Chalet at this tme of year. The Deer would walk through the yard in the morning, and it was like being in observatory. We could eatch the Canda Geese at play on thelake. A wonderful time. The house if so cozy!

We had an amazing stay at the Duke Den! The location was perfect and the space was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and nicely decorated. Our host was very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Tracey really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Great place to stay and we would recommend it highly.

We (two families with toddlers) had a wonderful stay! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook/bake, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches: a fireplace ready to go (so beautifully prepared with firewood and rolled up newspapers), and there were fun games. This is also the most clean place I have ever stayed in--kudos to the cleaning team who prepares the property for each guest! Our dogs also enjoyed the pet bin that Robin left for them--towels, toys, treats. :) We also loved exploring by the riverside, the trail to the Ramcat beach, and using the fireplace and Adirondack chairs just outside. Overall, the property/grounds is lovingly maintained and cared for, and the different people who work there are kind, friendly, and helpful. We are already planning a future stay in warmer weather!!!!

Fern Haven was an amazing stay! Spotless, cozy, & the upstairs suite is just wow! The hot tub worked & was so nice to relax in during the chilly evenings. Being on the deck & hearing the river flowing was the best! The path down to the river is steep, but stone steps & hand railings made it easy for us to get there. There are some large boulders along the water's edge that were perfect for sitting on and enjoying the scenery. The fluted rock formation just downriver was spectacular! We brought binoculars & had fun spotting the birds soaring around the area. Our favorites were the two Pileated Woodpeckers chasing each other around & playing. This would be a great float trip in the warmer seasons, & we definitely plan on returning to do that! We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, & the large yard area was great for setting up our yard games like cornhole toss. We only needed to reach out to the host Jim before arrival, but he was prompt in responses and friendly! We loved it here!!

Our family enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Michael's exceptional hospitality, including his thoughtful accommodations, made our experience truly memorable. The cozy fireplace was a delightful highlight. We wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place. The location is beautiful (especially when it snows!) and the house was spacious and well taken care of/furnished. Also lots of board games etc available. Amy was also really helpful and proactive, offering to let us leave later on check out day due to a snow storm. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape near Harpers Ferry!

My staff and I had a wonderful weekend with one of the best views on the mountain. It was absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing sipping wine and watching the skiers as snow fell before us. We highly recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway

Unique cabin right on the beautiful Allen creek . The big stone outside fireplace on the island is awesome. Very close to a ton state parks and forests. Could’ve been a little cleaner inside but overall it was nothing too serious.

Our group of 12 enjoyed our winter weekend stay at Bella Vista. The kitchen is very well stocked - better than any Airbnb I’ve been to. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was spacious, and the game room was a hit with the kids. We appreciated the quick and thorough communication - especially tips on what to bring (hot tub towels, shower toil trees, etc). I would also recommend bringing toilet paper, paper napkins, and paper towels if you’re staying more than 2 nights. We’ll be back!

The stay was wonderful. There is plenty of room for family and friends with multiple areas for seating and entertaining. The supply closet is well stocked with towels, linens, and paper supplies. Also, there are games, puzzles, books, and movies available in addition to the combination billiard/ping pong table to provide indoor entertainment. For outdoors, there is a gas grill, hot tub, fire pit, and cozy swing. A great place for gathering with friends and family.

Beautiful house with lake view. Easily accommodates large families, with plenty of space and multiple seating areas. Everyone in our group had a great time and we are already planning our next stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is both rustic and modern, with unique touches and a cozy feel. It had everything we needed and was close to the ski slopes. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. They reached out proactively and quickly responded to messages. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time. Plenty of space for us to hangout but it also felt very homie . Keri was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was a great get out of town and feel in the country but also know it's easy to get to things to do.

Staying here provided us with the space to unwind, and relax! The cabin is spectacular, even nicer in person than in the photos! The view is breathtaking and the amenities provided comfortable areas to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Hot tubbing under the stars after preparing dinner in an amazing kitchen and followed by warming up in front of a roaring fire was perfect! We cannot wait to return in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors!

Our group of 13 which had 3 families with 7 kids really enjoyed this house. Our favorite part was the location to skiing. Although not officially a ski-in/ski-out, the slopes were within walking distance and much easier for our younger skiers to access. The house was clean, fully stocked and provided enough beds for our large group. Would definitely recommend bringing your 4WD vehicle if snow is predicted during your stay as the driveway is a little steep. We plan to book again for our next Hidden Valley trip!

I had a terrific stay! The property is clean, and in great shape; Melanie does a great job of keeping everything organized. The location is terrific and is as described (30 second walk to the water) and there are restaurants in very close walking distance (one to two minutes). I look forward to staying here again—thank you very much!

Lake Effect was the perfect place for our family vacation. The family enjoyed it, we spent most of our time on the dock enjoying the lake and weather, which was amazing. Since I had to work a couple of hours a day before truly vacationing, the internet was somewhat an issue until I found out that if you are streaming on Samsung, the WiFi will be very in and out... so just don't turn on the TV until you are done with work or Streaming using the WiFi. Not sure also, it could have been Comcast, seeing that they have been having issues with their internet services throughout the state and Pa. We certainly were pleased and Paul and his wife were outstanding... We will be back. The Latchford's - Greg and Helen and Family

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the House over the Pond!! From the bridge to enter through the hanging fireplace and views over the pond, it was amazing. The inside design and layout of the cabin is a little quirky but to us that just added to the charm. Hosts were really easy to communicate with before and during the stay. Would love to make another trip.
