This is our second time staying at the “dog house” with Kayla. As usual the place does not disappoint and Kayla really thinks of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is immaculate and smells clean. We will definitely be back. My dogs give it a five paw rating.

This home is in the hotbed of Frederick. It's extremely walkable, with a plethora of great eateries. I personally recommend Maxwell's and Bean & Bagel. The home itself is a little quirky due to it being built in 1890, but Steve has added amenities which will not leave you feeling as though you're living in the past. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. If you choose to stay here, I will caution you to read the signs carefully. Every night is a game of musical chairs with parking spaces, and I wasn't in on it (I got a parking citation). But if anything, this only encourages you to walk and see beautiful Frederick. Just stick to the main roads at night.

Absolutely LOVED this place. Cabin was homey and comfortable, felt like we were staying at a friend’s place. The views were amazing, we stared at the mountains on the deck for hours. What an awesome bonus that there’s a trail right outside that has miles and miles of hiking in both directions. We loved how in tune to nature we felt, especially being unplugged and cozying up to the fire at night. Beds were comfortable, we cooked all our meals, and the hosts were super communicative. Would recommend this place to everyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway, and hope to be back soon!

Beautiful location. The cottages are a shared space with there being a smaller one behind the rock cottage. Wasn’t really expecting that but they left the next day so we were able to enjoy our stay with some more privacy. Hot tub was fantastic, bathroom spacious, kitchen accommodating. The walk around the meadows seeing all the animals was great. Would recommend.

Our stay at Kaylin & Alex's was fabulous. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and had all of the little extras. We brought our pups so it was great to have a yard and park close by. We could tell from the photos that it would be helpful to bring a gate to fence off an open part in the yard. Location was very walkable and the driveway was a perk. We love Frederick and would love to stay at Kaylin & Alex's house again.

Excellent stay at Tony's home. The view is fantastic and the home is exactly as pictured. We had a wonderful time with our two kids and another couple. The hot tub was great! We did not explore the area a ton, but we went next door to the equestrian center and they were extremely accommodating to our two very curious 4 year olds. If you are into horses, I recommend giving them a call. I would recommend this home and location to anyone looking to get away.

i rented this airbnb for a work crew that stayed for a week. The location was a bit far out from Harrisonburg but that is the charm of this small home. It was a nice quiet peaceful gateway where one could rest and recover from a busy day of work. The views are amazing and being able to see farm animals out in the surrounding fields was an odd treat. The home itself was very clean and comfortable. If you're traveling with kids or for work, this is a perfect spot.

This place worked out great for my needs! Alexandra was very quick to respond (facilitating my spur of the moment trip) while being polite and easy to communicate with. The area is rich in natural wonders like the old growth forest at Cathedral State Park and of course the Cheat River right behind the house that you can see from the porch. Also, there are several Civil War historical sites nearby.

Great place to gather with our family for hiking and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked. Propane grill was a nice plus! Connor was a great host!

Elisa's property was as advertised. The check-in instructions were very clear and all amenities that were advertised were provided. Rooms were very clean and spacious, and the upstairs loft area was a great area with plenty of games and takeout menus for an afternoon or evening inside. I would recommend anyone take a getaway trip and visit Elisa (and pups') property.

Thank You for making my 54th birthday so pleasant and peaceful. The house is very private but at the same time it has glass window everywhere to let int he natural light. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch. It was private but the furniture was beautifully and comfortable. I spent hours just sitting and mediating out there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to make a complete meal. The shower head made me feel like I was in a spa. The towels mad me feel as if I was drying with clouds. ( I have to find out where they bought those towels. I LOVED this house and so did my group of women I brought with me. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely rent this house again.

Every amenity is there....two different coffee makes and any and everything you would need to make a meal. Beds were all comfortable. Not a single negative thing to say.....it was perfect for 6 people.

Great place. We stayed for conference. It was convenient to the conference yet afforded us privacy when we wanted!

We found a "six" star gem walking in the door at Woodhaven. The photos, though true to life, could not adequately convey the warmth and coziness of the living quarters, cleanliness of the rooms, well appointed furnishings in the kitchen, high end bedroom linens and abundance of puzzles/games to keep one entertained and engaged. Wendy's attention to detail, hospitality AND ability to orchestrate a "blizzard" was beyond our expectations and imagination. When we connected in October as owner/renter soon changed to feeling like friend/family in February. We thank you for being instrumental in adding to our treasure trove of memories.

We had our best times and enjoyed every bits of it. The house is a very beautiful home, the surrounding is great and peaceful, lake view was amazing and most importantly, we enjoyed the game room. Mrs Nina was very helpful, active and friendly at all times and I highly recommend staying at this home.

Our stay was peaceful. Our first time for my wife and I along with our 15 year old daughter in Woodstock. The home is located around 3 other homes on open cow pasture land, but far enough to be very private. The kitchen was just remodeled and looks very nice along with new appliances. Inside was very clean and beds comfortable with memory foam mattresses. Internet was good enough to stream over TV in home. It was quiet at night, road you're on is private and very limited noise from vehicles on it day or night, although I did not see a speed limit sign so vehicles go any speed along that route. We didn't use the hot tub, pool(off season), grill or firepit(burning ban). We did use the ping pong table in garage and watched the TV in the area attached to it, very nice addition! It turned out very windy during our stay and with that it carried the highway traffic noise downwind which was worse at certain times outside, not inside. Other than that out stay was relaxing, visiting the area.

Donna and Robert thought of everything! The space is so spacious and comfortable. You can truly see the thought that went into this space. Anything you need, it is provided. The bed is super comfy. We slept like babies. We arrived late, which we try to avoid. Robert and Donna were so accommodating. We so appreciate that! We will definitely stay again while in the area.

The place looks like the pictures and is located on a secluded peaceful street with an old boarded up church and graveyard next door. It's very close to a plethora of wineries and breweries and near download Leesburg as well as Middleburg. We were able to easily book an Uber to and from the location. Jeremy provided a list of local restaurants, markets, and other attractions nearby. If you're interested in visiting Oatlands Historic Mansion and Grounds then it's a short 7-minute drive from the house. We had a lovely time and will rebook.

Virginia’s cozy cottage was exactly what we needed for the weekend. My wife, daughter, and I felt right at home and had lots to do for our time there. Just a short train ride from DC and we did not have to fight traffic getting in our out. Lovely place that we will definitely visit again soon.

A great place to get away and relax for a few nights. Very clean and cozy. The host was responsive and friendly. It’s off the beaten path and perfect for those who want privacy at an affordable price.

The house was excellent. Exactly as described, and exactly what we were looking for during our two week Christmas trip. We would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed staying at Sandi’s place! She was very communicative and friendly. The place conveniently located near town and the countryside. We were quite cozy!
