A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

Beautiful place! Was a great small size even with a small toddler; her pack and play fit with plenty of space for two dog beds also in the bedroom!

The Spring House was so incredibly peaceful and beautiful! Such an amazing find for us, we'd go again in a heartbeat. Also, are hosts were so friendly and kind. Anything we needed, they were ready to help us. I recommend anyone to stay here!

We loved our visit at Sarah’s, hadn’t stayed in a rustic cabin for a few decades, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our goal was Harper’s Ferry, and the drive was easy. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect

Great host and very clean home. Luray is a cute town. Ate out at Rancho Viejo, which was yummy.

I had a wonderful weekend at Al's place. The cabin was perfect for my peaceful time in Frostburg and surrounding areas. The hosts were informative and provided areas to see the sunset and sunrises. It was too cold to use the pool but the offer was there. I will be back.

My family loved this house. It was cozy and just the right size for our small family. The views are gorgeous and the hot tub was amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked and Eugene is super responsive. We'll be back!

Beautiful getaway home just about 1.5 hours outside of the DC-metro area! The wood-burning hot tub was such a nice and unique amenity that we really enjoyed. It was cleaned when we arrived, and the instructions were very clear on how to get it running. The process was very fun too! The home is beautiful and tidy, well-equipped both in the kitchen and bathroom. Linens and towels provided were very clean and soft. I would highly recommend Oscar's place to anyone looking for a quick, close-to-home getaway.

Loved the cottage! Jess was friendly and informative. The cottage was clean and cozy. We will definitely be back. There was so much to do in Gettysburg and was only a short drive from the cottage. Thank you so much for having us!

We loved our stay at Marlan’s hobbit home. It was so peaceful to read inside by the fireplace and sit outside listening to the frogs and birds. It was extremely clean and comfortable inside. (The waffle maker was a nice touch!) There are some wonderful wineries and the Luray Caverns a short drive away which made for a fun weekend.

The dome experience was perfect. It was peaceful and offered just the right amount of glamping mixed with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone, relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, lounging in the comfy chairs, and sitting by the fire. Dome offered a wonderful view and maintained the perfect temperature. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks for the perfect getaway.

Small cabin in the woods for a peaceful weekend getaway. Close to breweries & wineries. Kitchen was perfect for quick coffee & breakfast in AM. We enjoyed sitting by fire pit with some wine. Would’ve loved a dresser or armoire to unpack clothes, but not a huge deal for a short trip. Also, we stayed in and played cards one night. Maybe some other games? Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!

First off it’s very rare that you find a place that matches the description and the pictures and this place is absolutely fantastic. The hosts are amazing. I actually got to meet one at their little store and they are one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking to visit that area, such a beautiful view and a fantastic place to stay.

We stayed in the Hob over the weekend. It was rustic, but clean and cozy. It was close enough to restaurants, and there is plenty to do in the area. They recommended Pine Lodge for steak and it was delicious! Very kind hosts and enjoyable to talk too, as well😊

The Brook Cabin was amazing. This was our second stay and Levi was very attentive. Our New Years trip was very quiet and we enjoyed the fishing. We would definitely go again!

My friends and I stayed President’s day weekend. The cabin is relatively remote but the kitchen was fully stocked for when we cooked, the rooms were comfy and the fireplace was super nice. Berkeley springs is near by and I can’t recommend the hot springs enough - appointments are usually needed. Sean was a great host and was always fast to answer any questions. Overall, we had an amazing time.

We had a great stay in Skyhouse. Enjoyed the river views and hot tub. Comfortable beds, we both slept well. Check in was easy. Kitchen was stocked more than most. Recommended for peaceful get away.

We enjoyed staying at Sandi’s place! She was very communicative and friendly. The place conveniently located near town and the countryside. We were quite cozy!

Sarah was a wonderful host and the property was in a gorgeous, peaceful area. It was the perfect place to stay to relax and take a breather. The cottage was lovely and looked exactly like the pictures. It wasn't too far from Harrisonburg and Staunton, as well as a ton of hiking trails. Sarah also reached out a few times to ensure my stay was going well. 5/5 would recommend this place!
