We had the most peaceful stay at the container cabins. Such a smart use of space in such a beautiful wooded spot by the stream. Porter is a friendly, responsive and helpful host. We can’t wait to be back!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our experience here! We were looking for a real log cabin that felt like a home away from home, and this was it. It was so cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the hot tub was relaxing, and the kitchen had all of the essentials. It truly lived up to the listing. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been the weather, but this was still the perfect place to be on a rainy day. I’ve already recommended the place to friends!

Great family trip at a beautiful cabin!

Such a lovely place. A simple but beautifully appointed cabin surrounded by truly stunning nature - River, woods, large rocks, nearby gorgeous hikes. The beds were so cozy - we had the best sleep there! And the fireplace was so lovely, especially on cold and rainy nights. It was a perfect place to greet the New Year. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

What an awesome trip! The cabin and backyard was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. We recommend visiting Kent Falls and Craft Kitchen and Bar. Overall totally worth every penny and would love to visit again!

What a wonderful getaway! The cabin was everything I hoped for and more. We live close by and were looking for something with that cozy cabin feel. Boy did Anthony’s place deliver. As soon as you walking you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. We were super cozy on a rainy day between the warmth of the woodstove and the cedar soaking tub. We also enjoyed dinner and margaritas at the popular Norte Azul restaurant. We will definitely be back.

We had a great weekend stay for a ski trip. The house was great, plenty of places to sleep, the kitchen well-equipped, the Jacuzzi was a welcome respite at the end of the day. John was incredibly helpful and super easy to work with. We will come back again.

Perfect getaway somewhat close to home for my birthday. Would definitely recommend if anyone asks for something in the area & would definitely stay again if we ever want a close getaway again!

Christina was an excellent host who ALWAYS responded to any of my questions or concerns immediately and courteously. Her space was exactly as described and very spacious as well as a fantastic environment for a group to get together and have a great time! I highly recommend Christina’s place for a great time with a large group, she is the ideal host who works tirelessly to provide an amazing space for her guests!

The farm was absolutely amazing!! So pretty and well kept. The ability to walk around and freely hangout with/feed the animals was wonderful and staff was extremely friendly.

A charming, secluded, wooded space on a quiet Vermont road with access to various towns and activities nearby. The area is beautiful, hosts are responsive, I’d visit again. Certainly a visit to the Crowley Cheese Factory is a must.

I loved staying in this home and hope to rent it again. It is just a few minutes from town and nestled in the woods. The place is beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

Second time staying here to hike the area trails. The place was immaculate as was my first visit. The hosts are wonderful and helpful. They gave me check in flexibility that added a lot of time to my plans for the day that ended up being a big value. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a 3 day ski weekend with another couple with our kids and dogs. The location was perfect for skiing at Hunter. 5 minutes away from Hunter, 5 minutes away from the Tops supermarket. Not on a main road which was good for the dogs. The house itself had a nice ambiance, the wood burning fireplace stove in the living room was so nice. There were little touches that made the vibe very nice and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Victoria was very responsive and check in was very easy. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, peaceful location with a stunning view looking east towards Vermont at the mountains. Everything is as advertised with the pictures. It is a rustic A-frame cottage with a wonderful wood-burning stove. The whole place was beautifully accented with candles and sophisticated country charm. We loved the record player and all the Christmas albums. Lizzie is a super host who is very responsive and accommodating. This is a great "get-away" location and is highly recommended. We visited three years ago and were back again. The improvements and new appointments were impressive and added to the charm. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

Ellen’s cabin was great. Super cozy. Had a great time hanging with our golden doodle by the wood stove. The screen/projector upstairs was perfect for movies. We would definitely come back. Followed her recommendations on her site and ate at Julia’s Local one night. Amazing food and not too far. Went to the Red Star Cafe for fancy coffees one afternoon, and ate at the Deer Mountain Inn (recommended by Julia herself of Julia’s Local). Five star dining and a great place to sleep after. Great weekend all around.

Stacey and her husband are nothing short of wonderful for sharing a piece of their beautiful property with guests. They gave great instructions and the place was exactly as it was listed, a beautiful cabin perfect for reconnecting with nature, a partner, and especially ones self. I hold the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh very dear and own a few books he's published, so when I saw that they had a selection of his works on their bookshelf I knew, without a doubt, I booked the right space. I loved the wood fire stove and old fashioned toilet. I really appreciated the guest book as well, a written print of how meaningful time in the cabin has been to visitors. The windows in the space were my favorite aspect, waking up to a calm and tranquil nature scene all while snuggled in bed. Thank you for hosting, thank you for curating a space of reflection and gentle contemplation.

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. Thanks for having us! : )

This place was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. On the chilly fall weekend the wood stove and sauna were much enjoyed. We hope to return!

My wife, two year old, two dogs, and myself stayed at this beautiful property for our anniversary. It was an easy choice for us as they were able to accommodate our two pups which was important to us. Something that also appealed to us was the playground, which was a few feet away from our cabin. This all made it so easy for us with a toddler and two dogs to vacation with ease. Our host were incredibly friendly and very open to helping us if we were to have any issues or concerns, which we did not because the stay was perfect. I would highly recommend to families or people with pets. Our toddler was very found of the lively and very sweet donkey. Thank you so much for hosting us. :)

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

Very sweet wooden Cabin next to a wood! Felt extremely homie and refreshing right from the beginning! The wood oven is a great plus for a long winter (or summer) night! Check-in was easy, and there was some basics (oil, vinegar, salt, honey, coffee, etc) in the cupboard which was a + Recommend it for anyone looking for a nice getaway with friends, partner or family
