Beautiful views, perfect location, comfortable beds! We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed exploring the area.

This home was so well-appointed that we felt right at home. The kitchen was well-stocked with a nice work area. The master had a lovely en-suite bathroom and a cedar lined closet - nice touch! All of the beds (even the bunkbeds) were SO comfy and we all enjoyed restful nights of sleep. The view from the deck is just gorgeous! We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the weather & views. There is a ping pong table in the lower level, but we didn't use it - we were out & about visiting The Biltmore Estate and exploring Asheville. Since we had great weather, no need to stay indoors. Our host's info binder had many suggestions of places to see, things to do, and where to eat. Shannon is a very responsive & cordial host and we'd recommend her place to stay in Asheville without hesitation! We even commented to ourselves that if we could, we'd move right in! This beautiful home was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. We were sad to leave it at the end of our stay.

Beautiful cabin surrounded by even more beautiful scenery! Our weekend stay was peaceful and serene, and we were also within 20 minutes of downtown Blowing Rock, local restaurants, and shops. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the amenities were great and updated. The cabin was large enough to comfortably host six adults. We were not able to control the heating and air, as it was pre-set and would automatically revert to the pre-set settings, which did make the temperature inside the cabin uncomfortable at times. Thankfully, the weather was cool so we could open up windows to cool the inside of the cabin. Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay at this cabin again, and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a beautiful mountain getaway.

This was an amazing place! Peaceful and purposely and intentional setup for comfort and tranquility. We whole heartedly recommend staying here. We are for sure coming back!

The Cloud 9 vacation home is stunning. Perfectly appointed spaces with quality furnishings. I found the kitchen and living areas particularly amazing. Come here for the views and stay for the comfort. The hosts are proactive and prepared for everything you will need to enjoy the restorative beauty in the mountains. Between the baby grand piano and the magnificent sunrises, I cannot choose a favorite part. Totally recommend for anyone who wants to have a peaceful mountain retreat with close proximity to a wonderful city like Asheville!

We felt lucky to have found this home for our trip. It was spotlessly clean, great linens and mattresses, and beautiful bathrooms!! We enjoyed the porches, privacy, and sunrise views while sipping coffee in the morning. Plenty of space to take my dog on short walks on the property. I'd love to see all the rhododendrons in bloom along the driveway. I've already recommended this home to friends. While it is private with mountain views, it was a short drive to all the locations we wanted to go in Asheville area.

I would 100% book again with Caroline and Mike and would even stay at Sanctuary again. We had all needed amenities and even some extra touches, and the sunset views are unmatched. I had a hard time leaving Sanctuary to go do things in town! It was so cozy and just my ideal hideaway from the world. Check-in and checkout were easy, very convenient location to downtown Asheville but far enough out of town that it felt quiet and restful.

The place was beautiful & exactly as the photos show. Definitely will be planning a trip back.

The place was very private and there was a lot of wildlife and birds to look at. We had a great time in Boone and the surrounding area. we would definitely stay here again.
