We had a perfect stay at Elisach Serenity House. We were warmly welcomed by kind people. The house is very nice, clean and well equipped, and we could enjoy the very nice garden too. The beach is just about 1.5km away and we could just walk. Also there are some shops at about 10 minutes by walk. Definitely recommended! Abbiamo passato un ottimo soggiorno alla Elisach Serenity House. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente e con gentilezza. La casa è grande, con un bel giardino, e ben curata. C'è la spiaggia a 1,5 chilometri e ci si può andare a piedi. I commerci più vicini sono a una decina di minuti a piedi. Assolutamente consigliata!

Kumar’s place was fabulous. Jaya (house keeper) was such an amazing help, simply made our stay luxurious. Tuan (manager) was very responsive and helped with arranging everything.

I spent the last four weeks in this most beautiful house in Sri Lanka, by far the best Airbnb rental which I have occupied on the island. The place is exactly as described, and suited my needs perfectly. The house, furniture, and furnishings are modern, and having a private the garden is an added benefit. The host was easy to communicate with, and having Ajith, the caretaker/manager who is always available, and ready to help, was definitely an asset. Thank you providing an unforgettable stay in Sri Lanka, and I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list, for my next visit to the island.

Basma is a great host. We were all very comfortable in her place. She helped us to finalize all our sight seeing plans and even gave us tips to save money and do things in a much better fashion.

Home away from home, secluded and private with fresh air and natural surroundings

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

Geesha Villa was just how it looked in the pictures, and we had a very satisfactory two-week stay here. The host was most helpful and was on hand to help us in a timely manner. Situated halfway down a cul-de-sac, there was very little activity. It was a short (5-minute) walk to the nearest supermarket (SPAR) and a 15-minute walk into Negombo town. A railway ran parallel to the road, but the trains weren't that frequent, and they caused no bother. All in all, it made a great base from which to explore Sri Lanka. Such a lovely location! I celebrated my daughter's birthday here with our two doggies, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful day. The garden and indoor spaces offer plenty of room, making it ideal for gatherings. The staff were exceptional—attentive, supportive, and genuinely helpful, which made everything run smoothly. I’m so glad I chose this Amy's Haven and can’t wait to visit again!

Thank you for the most beautiful and pure experience in nature. Together with my boyfriend, we enjoyed every second in this hidden, breathtaking space. In the middle of the nature - the best food served fresh and experimental every day. We felt in heaven. I will come again. ❤️

My family had 5 nights in this delightful house which was a perfect antidote to 10 days of rushing around the island of Sri Lanka. It was so relaxing and greatly benefited from having private staff who dealt with everything we could possible have wanted. There is a private chef who went out of his way to prepare whatever we asked for, 3 meals a day if needed. He only charged us for the ingredients required to prepare those meals which included a range of seafoods (e.g. huge prawns and seer fish), fresh fruit and very tasty Sri Lankan main dishes and deserts - nothing was too much trouble and he should be justly proud of his cooking skills, some of the best meals we tasted on our trip. They happily took us out on the tuk-tuk to local shops and will arrange local tours but we were "toured out" by the time we got there. The pool is fantastic (and huge!) and the grounds are constantly maintained by "Uncle". I cannot say anything but positive things, but do bring the bug sprays!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The place itself is amazing—it's incredibly calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything was clean and new, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The highlight for me was the great pool. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a tranquil and well-maintained place to stay. I can't wait to come back!

Wir haben zu zweit 2 Nächte bei Vinodh verbracht. Es ist einfach ein wunderschöner Ort!!! Etwas abgelegen, wodurch es komplett ruhig ist. Zu hören sind lediglich ein paar Tiere. Wir hatten einfach die schönste Zeit. Vinodh war ein wunderbarer Supergastgeber, der durchweg ansprechbar und immer behilflich war. Manchmal sogar, bevor wir selbst überhaupt die Idee hatten, etwas zu brauchen. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen einen Stopp auf der Reise in der kleinen Oase einzulegen.

Maulie’s apartment is really amazing. I never saw anything similar before! I love especially enjoyed the jungle-like garden with the occasional monkey or lizard visiting. The area is very quiet. A few restaurants are about a 10 minutes walk away. To go to the city it takes about 40 minutes by tuktuk. Maulie always replied almost immediately to my questions. If you are looking for a stay with a difference - I can definitely recommend it.

Benjamin is a great host, easy to communicate with and very caring. The place is just special as described, dinner was awesome. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would return anytime.

I could not have wished for a better place to land in the culture of Sri Lanka. Agapi Villa, truly lives up to its name: love. The loving attention that this place is created with is felt within every detail. The shower is fantastic, the kitchen has all you need to create a home-cooked meal. The bicylcle I could borrow added a lot of value to my experience. Cycling through the country side, along the ocean and to the near by city made me able to really feel as if I was taking part in the Sri Lankan life. To meet Christina, Keshan and their family and get to peek into the life they are living; a full devotion to care for the street dogs in Sri Lanka, truly left an Imprint in my heart. As well as their heart warming presence and genuine care and help during my stay. If you are wish to experience Sri lanka in an authentic way, away from the mass tourist and find yourself at one of the beaches that make you feel as if you are inside of a post-card, this is the place for you to be!

Pushpa’s apartments are set inside a lovely gated garden next to their home, the place is very calm and tranquil. A great place to stay for the first or last few days of your trip if you are flying in/out of Colombo Bandaranaike airport. The apartment is really pretty with views of the green garden. Close to some nice restaurants and bars, and of course Negombo beach. Pushpa is friendly and welcoming.

I’ve stayed in tens of Airbnbs around the world, but Nanditha’s place is best of the best. Especially in Colombo, where I’ve lived long-term in several other Airbnbs, her place is far far better than any other places. Even if you come across cheaper options with great reviews, I would still strongly recommend staying at Nanditha’s. Her place is impeccably clean, stylish, comfortable, and secure. Everything I needed was already there. The room is in a separate building, offering 100% privacy, and she even arranged for someone to collect the garbage from the downstairs kitchen every morning. Linens were changed and the place cleaned weekly, which made it feel like a high-end serviced apartment. She offered me milk rice, dhal, or healthy juice on weekends, just out of generosity. Above all, Nanditha herself is incredibly helpful and humble. Unlike many others in this business, she’s not driven by money. I got much more than what was described.

Mangala, a super host with a heart of gold! After three weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka we returned to Mangala's for our last two nights. It felt as though we had come home. She made us so welcome and sat and listened to all our news. Mangala arranged and joined us for a tour of Colombo and helped us get the best price for some last minute shopping. She arranged our airport drop off and the driver she had arranged on our arrival that collected us from Kandy and stayed with us for four days was excellent. All drivers, highly recommended, were from nklanka tours and holiday. Mangala's bungalow has a homely feel, warm colours and a tranquil garden with so many beautiful, colourful birds that fill the air with delightful tropical bird song. Her garden is so very natural and full of wonderful things to eat. Thank you, Mangala, for making our stay so very special.

Our family stay at your beautiful bungalow was absolutely wonderful. We had the incredible opportunity to enjoy delicious food, and our visit to the Ellakanda waterfall combined with the mini hike was truly unforgettable. The support from the caretakers and the overall hospitality were unmatched. We're already looking forward to booking this place again for our company day outing next year!
