This was our second time experiencing this beautiful place. We returned back because of how much fun and intimate our experience was. I definitely will be returning back.

Devon was an amazing and responsive host! They were very flexible with our last minute changes and made us feel at home. I came with friends to get away for a weekend over spring break and it was a perfect stay after hiking the redwoods all day!

We had a blast. Super peaceful & fun. It wasn’t difficult to get into bath spaces. The room was smaller than I imagined from the pictures but it was still roomy enough for two people. Would definitely go again.

Everything was perfect! The house and the view were even more gorgeous in person. The house had absolutely everything our family needed (and more!) for our stay. The neighborhood and town were adorable and the short walk to the beach was a huge plus for us. We truly could not have asked for more and were discussing making a yearly trip after just 1 night! Would absolutely recommend this beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy's! The location was great for our daily hiking and adventuring through the redwoods. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after. There are plenty of snacks, tea and coffee and the kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs. There's also a very friendly and cuddly neighborhood cat (shout-out to Rufus!) and even fruit trees on the property, the apples are delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again when back in the area.

An absolutely beautiful home in close proximity to all the best natural features and activities of the Redwood National Park and State Parks area. While providing all the comforts of modern life, the decor and design were fully committed to a retro vintage vibe, which made this a particularly fun place to stay. We brought groceries with us so we could cook in the well equipped kitchen, as there are not many nearby food options since the house is mostly surrounded by wilderness for dozens of miles in each direction.

This place is so lovely, cozy, and exactly what we needed at the end of our road trip. We had a hot soak in the copper tub on a very cold morning and it’s exactly what our achey muscles needed. If you’re reading this and wondering if you should book- the answer is definitely yes.

This is located in a quaint small town called Trinidad. Close to Redwood National and State Parks. It's also close to the Trinidad State Beach where we did a hike on the Trinidad Head with great ocean views. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of condiments and a variety of coffee to choose from. Overall a great experience and we enjoyed the stay very much. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Redwood National and State Parks and the Eureka area.

Comfortable and quiet, easy parking in the driveway, well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils, appliances and cookware you'd ever need, great shower and plenty of hot water, nice cafe 1/4 mile away, cozy and warm for a rainy spring trip to Humboldt. Note: dunno your mattress preferences but this one is very soft, no blackout curtains in bedroom so bring an eyemask.

Beautiful place with outstanding views of the bay. The place was cozy and welcoming with friendly pets to greet us! All amenities were as stated and allowed for the most relaxing time. We selected the place as part of our honeymoon and would love to come back to celebrate an anniversary. I highly recommend a stay at Katy and Toryn’s place.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Richard and Joey are delightful hosts - very welcoming and friendly, but also not intrusive. The bungalow is in a lovely country setting. At first, I was a little concerned about the distance from town (about a 10-15 minute drive), but as our trip went on, I very much appreciated the peaceful environment we found ourselves in at the end of the day.

Lisa made me feel tight at home . East check in/ check out. All the comforts of home (local organic)coffee, tea, seasonings, drinks just to name a few. 😁 Would definitely stay again! Thank you Lisa!!

A great getaway in Blue Lake. Close to the casino, if that is your thing, or quick hop on the highway to the coastal beaches and outdoor adventure. Inside there is plenty of space to spread out and a great yard. We had dogs, so the place worked out great with the extra space and outdoor area. Love that view from the dining room of the rolling forest hills - can't beat it!

I loved this place. Comfy bed. Amazing bathroom. The wifi worked great and I also got a few bars of TMobile service. If it’s cold weather season, ask them to turn on heat well before you arrive and they also have an extra space heater if needed.

The properties were exactly as described: lovely redwood forest with a trail just yards from the front door, downtown Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt no more than 5 minutes away by car, and the occasional deer walking past your window. Any of the Fickle Hill properties are an ideal place to stay to experience what Humboldt county has to offer.

Kate and Chuck were friendly and attentive. The space was private, comfortable, warm (It was unseasonably cold during our stay) and clean. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tidy Tiny Home! The cabin itself was such a comfortable space and served as a great home base for exploring Redwoods in the area. The space had everything we needed, especially the kitchen which was very well-equipped. The hosts also provided a ton of helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants in the surrounding areas. I would absolutely stay Darrell and Joan's place again next time we’re in the area!

Pristine contemporary house that was exactly as listed. Laila was communicative and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!☺️

Jerry’s studio has what you need for your trip if you are passing through the region. It is a clean space. There is hot water, heating, and comfortable beds. Jerry is communicative and very responsive.

Erica was very communicative and easy to check in! Her place is very quiet and the surrounding scenery is beautiful.

Mark's guest suite is lovely, secluded and spacious. It a perfect spot for my daughter and I to stay while visiting Cal Poly Humboldt. GPS failed me a time or two, but Mark was thoughtful enough to provide explicit instructions for how to find his house. I hope to stay here again when I'm in the area.

This is a great little place in a good spot, right next to wildberries. Clean room, too. Romi was very understanding when I messed up on the reservation and had to adjust, too.
