Really enjoyed staying at Rita's place. She welcomed us in person and showed us around the house, provided information on the location and area, and provided some milk/treats/etc. House is like the pictures, great location, has everything you'd need for a few days. Will recommend staying at Rita's and would be happy to stay again.

This home was perfect for our family and Maeve was a kind, responsive and helpful host, offering us suggestions on things to do and helpful tips. The accomodations are in such a beautiful location and we loved the cottage feel to the place. We spent quiet nights by the wood stove with our family and then drove each day to so many beautiful places around Ireland for the day which was just what we wanted. The town has nice options for grocery, petrol and places to eat and have some drinks. There is also an adorable cat, who likes to be petted but not picked up, that likes to visit the front door at times. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Ann was the perfect host! We felt right at home. :) She has a beautiful home, which overlooks the little harbor. We were able to use her kitchen to make our dinner and have breakfast in morning. She was fun to chat with! We would highly recommend staying here. Beds were very comfortable and had a nice private bath. She gave us directions to a nice walking path along the canal. Nice walk in the morning.

Being hosted by Helena has been the Airbnb highlight of our visit to Ireland. We were so wonderfully looked after by Helena, even to supplying us from Australia with vegemite, and no shortage of breakfast choises and snacks. A great and easy communicator, we thank Helena for her generosity in also taking us to historical places of interest. While sharing the main door and hallway, our accommodation was private with a very comfortable bedroom and ensuite and large sitting room with a fire and large T.V. The house was constantly warm and spotless. We could not praise more highly the care and consideration we experienced, and have no hesitation in recommending this stay to all Airbnb travelers.

Sonia's home is one of my favorites in all of my travels on Airbnb. As a host myself, I felt immediately at home staying here at their countryside retreat for 4 nights this summer. They were amazing hosts - very responsive, insightful and caring! The pictures match the beautiful setting, the home is beautifully laid out with plenty of room to spread out as a family or a group of friends - a living room, kitchen, dining room on the main floor, plenty of outdoor space and 4 bedrooms and two full baths upstairs. Lots of toys for kids as well as a tree house in the yard, a tv room to watch movies/Netflix and a beautiful kitchen to prepare a meal. We loved the cows grazing in your front yard and view of the lake! It's a 10 min drive to Glasson town and 20 minutes to Athlone - a bustling city. About 90 min from Dublin Airport and an easy drive. You will love your stay here - private, quiet and relaxing and also strong Wifi! We can't wait to visit again!

The cottage with its eye catching exterior is ideally placed for travel around the central belt of Ireland. The village is lovely, clean and quiet with two very nice pubs in close proximity. Emmet also kindly provided a supply of provisions such as bread, milk, sausages to name but a few, for which we were grateful.

Absolutely spectacular. From the comfy bed to the lovely neighborhood and the milk, yogurt, butter and orange juice left for me. Bernadette (Benny) was so great about instructions and helpful when I couldn’t figure out the heat. Very clean. Everything worked impeccably. I walked to the medieval grave yard behind the house. Also easy to walk to town for a coffee. For where I was going (Roscommon) this was a great location, very quiet. Easy to get to the airport. Thank you so very much.
