this an amazing stay, i had only messaged her 30 minutes before I booked the place, working third shift this is a huge help and I appreciate the ability to check in super early. not to mention the blackout curtains are a life changer sleeping during the day, all in all a 5 star place to stay at a good price

It was easy to find and the place was clean. It looked just as listed. It took a little while to warm up but she explained that on the thermostat note. After a while it got pretty warm. Very clean place and there were plenty of things such as snacks, coffee tea. We were here from Pittsburgh to tour IUP for my son. Very close to everything from the university to many restaurants. We tried Funky Brunch and went to pet the cats at Dexters Cat Cafe. Loved the experience. I’d rent this place again especially if my son decides to attend IUP.

This place was even better than the photos! it is spacious, combines old Pittsburgh home with modern interior styles, and a great amount of windows for natural light. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and walkable. There is a cooperative grocery store, coffee shop, and a climbing gym nearby. Also, great bus access! The host was very responsive to questions. I stayed during winter and the HVAC was great with only one of the rooms being a bit cooler than the others, which is impressive for old Pittsburgh homes.

Thomas was a phenomenal and friendly host! The place is adorable and extremely cozy. I traveled with my two small children and he was very warm and accommodating to the needs of kids. Definitely hope to come back!!! It was also spotless and welcoming. Highly recommend.

This was a lovely, private apartment. Clean and convenient to everything. If you're thinking of staying in Indiana, it is worth it to pay a little extra and stay here. Great little kitchen, lots of natural light, plenty of space, quiet. I loved looking at the books and crystals. There is a cozy sitting area adjacent to the dining room for reading and the living room was very comfortable when my daughter and her boyfriend came for dinner. I would definitely stay here again. This was a place that exceeded our expectations! *We loved all of the attention to detail, as far as keeping with original character of this spectacular home! *The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals of any kind. *We really appreciated Mark and Evan providing us with a few extra food items because of our last minute travel change. (We didn’t arrive until 1:30 AM after driving 14 hours because our flight on Delta was canceled.) *This home was perfectly located for our visit with our Pittsburgh family, which was less than a block away. *We will be back!!!!!!!!

Great place overall. The location is perfect if you will be at the hospital or saint vincent. There's also a very nice park with pickle ball courts and a nice walking trail within walking distance from the airbnb. Check in was easy and the place was very clean. I do think the listing needs updating as there were quite a few checkout requests that weren't initially present when I booked. These included requests such as wiping down counters, mirrors and the shower.

My stay at Alivia's was awesome! It's exactly as described- a quiet, cozy den. All of the photos were on point as well as the amenities. It was a very cold and snowy weekend in Pittsburgh, and Alivia kept the place well heated in addition to having 2 fireplaces. The best part was that I arrived on Valentine's Day, and there was a box of chocolate with a welcome note. It was a completely unexpected yet wonderful surprise! I'd definitely stay at Alivia's anytime I'm in Pittsburgh if it's available. She's an amazing host with a great place. I'd recommend anyone to stay at her place. You won't regret it.

We enjoyed our stay at this very unique apartment above an antique store. The main living area was spacious and the host was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

cute classic place as described. could be better in some small ways ...a better view, more organized kitchen, but even the simple amenities provided made up for that, not to mention the host's thoughtfulness and friendly communication.

Great place for a medium length stay. Has all the necessities, small but comfortable, and in a quiet and safe neighborhood that is a short drive from most locations in Pittsburgh. Kate is very responsive and a good host. A couple of minor issues -- check-in took longer than expected (though Kate was very apologetic and kind about everything), and the building is showing it's age a bit. Overall would still book again.

This was our third stay at Martha’s Airbnb. Please see our previous reviews for why we give it a five star rating. It will continue to be our destination of choice when we return to Pittsburgh to visit our son’s family living in the Regent Square area.

Cozy and clean - just what we hoped for. Deborah went above and beyond - even made us homemade pumpkin bread that was delicious! This is in a great location near Frick Park and definitely a bargain. The bed was probably the comfiest we’ve slept in during vacation & even though the apt is on a lower level, it’s plenty bright and has a nice big window in the bedroom. Free street parking was easy to find and the neighborhood is quiet. We’ll be back for sure!

Huddleston was a great host. Easy to communicate with and very responsive. The room was clean and met my expectations. The room/Inn was unique and fit our needs. A highlight was the lovely walk to the Green Gables Restaurant for the included breakfast, which was delicious. I would note that there is no air conditioning, but there were a couple of fans available in the room. Also, if you arrive late, there are not a lot of dining options available, so plan accordingly. A unique stay that I recommend to visitors to the area!

Huddleston Court and Green Gables Restaurant are a gem of Southwestern Pennsylvania and indeed of the United States. An artist's vision in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, the buildings are full of handmade charm and creativity which exists harmoniously with the beautiful setting. The gardens are a joy any time of year. In the past I was able to see the Rhododendron and Iris in bloom which was a memorable treat. This time we got to see the day-lilies. The restaurant is outstanding and features beautiful views of the gardens and a BYO policy with no corkage. Breakfast is made to order and is delicious, adding tremendous value to your stay. It should be noted that the room is a bit primitive; water pressure is weak and there's no air conditioning so one should not expect luxury of this type. The luxury is found in the beauty of the surroundings. However, the rooms are furnished with a fridge, full size coffee maker, microwave and toaster which is great for a longer stay. Also it should be noted that the Mountain Playhouse is no longer hosting theater performances, and any tickets purchased from their website are for a performance in a neighboring town. I am a frequent traveller and explorer if this area and Huddleston Court stands out as one of my favorite places to visit.

Cleaned and organized apartment. Had everything you need for short term stay. There even a new tooth brush in its package if you needed one.

This is a rustic country mountain spot. We found the space to be quite charming, and incredibly clean. The unit was well stocked with a comfortable mattress, hotel-quality white crisp sheets, and a beautiful quilt from The Company Store. The fireplace in the bedroom was prepped for use, and had plenty of cut wood stocked in the unit, along with clear directions for use. The kitchen had everything you could want or need, and even some things you wouldn't have thought of yourself. We loved the full-sized drip coffee pot. Our hosts were so kind to provide dog bowls for our 13 1/2 year old pug. The grounds are lovely, and the trail over to Green Gables, that leads between the pond and the lake is definitely worth exploring. We loved that breakfast was provided. It was great food, and nice to be able to choose exactly what you wanted. We dined-in at Green Gables one evening, and the dinner was lovely and delicious. They had a warm fire crackling in the fireplace that just added to the ambiance. Our only minor constructive criticism is that the internet was spotty. There was a wind/snowstorm so that may have affected the internet connection. Speaking of snow, our walks were salted before we even got out of bed in the AM. Very impressive. In fact, we thought the service was excellent all around. We consider this an awesome, pet-friendly spot, and we can't wait to book another stay for the future.
