Exceptional Stay, Highly Recommended! My stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. The property was spotless, with a modern and inviting design that made it feel like a home away from home. The host was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and thoughtful, ensuring that every detail was taken care of for a seamless experience. The amenities provided were top-notch, from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable bedding and well-maintained spaces. The location was perfect – close to the water and peaceful enough to relax during the holidays. I particularly loved the outdoor area, which was perfect for unwinding in the evening. Great times and memories with my children. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

My family’s weekend getaway was everything we hoped for. Connie’s place was easy to find, spotless and matched 100% the description. We enjoyed the play area, the outside fire place and of course the kayak. The area was peaceful and pleasant. My younger children enjoyed the board games and ping pong table very much. Overall, Connie’s place was amazing and I will absolutely come back!

This was our second stay and is definitely not our last. The home is a perfect spot for our family. The views across the water are always so peaceful and relaxing. I can see why Mari is a super host. She is a joy to work with and helped make our stay even more pleasant. We look forward to coming back.

The house is incredibly well appointed and Jennifer is a fantastic host. I went off-season and didn't get to enjoy all that it has to offer, I'd love to come back in warmer weather.

We loved coming and staying here for spring break! We checked out fossil beach at West Moreland State Park and some other local spots. When we weren’t out we were chilling at the house playing games in the kitchen or outside on the dock. I will say it was a bit confusing that one of the rooms is separated from the rest of the house but other than that it was perfect!

The place was absolutely beautiful. The interior was very cozy, and the outside had a great view of the Potomac. The neighborhood was peaceful too. Everything you need was available in the house. Lisa and Jim have a binder with plenty of places to visit nearby. They were also very welcoming with special touches that were appreciated.

Thank you to John for a lovely stay at The River House! We enjoyed a gorgeous sunny sunset happy hour on the tiki bar dock and moody views of fog and mist rolling over the water all in one weekend. John’s place is clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had everything we could possibly need for a weekend of quiet, beauty, and relaxation. Can’t wait to come back!

We spent Thanksgiving here and it was truly special. The house was very spacious for 2 families. The teenagers (and adults) loved having the pool table right next to the living room/TV. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was relaxing under the stars. For being a house from 1889, everything was well taken care of, including the dock and grounds. We would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved Phillip’s incredibly charming and cozy cottage! The interior is gorgeous and the exterior waterfront view will take your breath away! We spent a lot of time fishing on the dock and loved eating our bountiful catch! Lots to explore nearby in the quaint small towns of the Northern Neck! Phillip was very quick to respond to my many questions and always offered local recommendations which we really appreciated! We did a quick run to Walmart to get firewood for the outdoor pit, bait and $9 camping chairs. The chairs made our dock fishing more comfortable than the built-in dock bench. My advice is run, don’t walk, to secure a reservation at this stunning waterfront oasis! We can’t wait to return! K Helms, Clifton, VA

We had a wonderful stay at the Rivah house. it's a beautiful location and kayaks are provided. there's also a full kitchen, lots of sleeping space, and a big tv. A great place to enjoy time in the water and see a beautiful and lesser known part of Virginia.

My husband, myself and our son and daughter in law rented Dave & Melissa’s home to celebrate my 50th birthday. I was not looking forward to turning 50 but it was such a wonderful time. I LOVE their home. It was beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Sitting on the front porch listening to the waves crash was so relaxing. We had dinner on the deck every evening. It seemed so private and peaceful. Nice furnishings even outside. Perfect for our fur babies and us. The boat landing is just a couple miles away which is really nice and convenient. We will definitely be visiting again when the weather is warmer and we can have fun in the water. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home 💜

I enjoyed my stay at this location while I was working in the area. The house was very clean and had a great view of the river. I loved the area and all of the amenities that she had in the home. Would definitely return.

We loved our stay at KJ’s property and will absolutely be back again! The house was perfect for a weekend family getaway with beautiful views and lots of things to do at the property itself - you really never need to leave! Meticulously clean, great fire pit, lots of outdoor seating and an overall very private location. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing experience!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was just as described with all of the listed amenities. Kyle gave clear, concise directions and was very responsive. Property is quietly tucked way and is right on the water, which is a nice feature.

Rachel’s place was Awesome! The water view, pier, fire pit and house made us feel at home. We were in town for a funeral and Rachel was very accommodating. With check in and check out. Our family grew up in piney point just a short distance away and we were able to reminisce and site see of the past. The ruddy duck restaurant on the island was a great place to gather after. Thanks again!!

We had a wonderful long weekend here! The house is well-equipped and David was even able to secure fishing and crabbing gear so our two kids could try to catch dinner. It is a quiet street of cottages with friendly neighbors in a gorgeous location - the view is so calming. We enjoyed exploring the local area (love the coffee shop and brewery in Montross), kayaking, swimming, and relaxing on the big screened porch. A feature here that you don’t always have at the shore is a great sandy beach! Can’t wait to come back for another getaway.

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Remote but WiFi worked great. We were looking for cozy and relaxing and it delivered!

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

We had such a peaceful fun time at Pizza Friday! So close to st.Mary’s campus so it was very easy for frequent trips back and forth during our stay. Highly recommend and I hope to stay there again in the future.

Peaceful stay out on the water. There was a lots of great state parks near by too. The home was stylish, clean and peaceful 🙂

We spent a quiet and serene weekend at this place celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. I liked the decor, the furniture were all extremely comfortable, and the view was amazing of course. The kitchen had all that we needed to cook a simple meal. I liked that oils and spices were provided in addition to coffee and tea. We enjoyed the outdoor space to have a campfire. (while sitting on the back deck looking out at the bay and night skies) We were also able to enjoy use of the tandem kayak and would recommend that to those who come as the creek was so smooth and fun to be on the water looking at nature and beautiful houses. Can definitely kayak to Vera's restaurant though return trip may take longer due to water current. We really enjoyed our long weekend and would recommend this location to others or come back ourselves.

Just a stunning location! The bird watching was marvelous, every morning a pair of swans landed and swam around until dusk. Lots of blue herons, too. Good fishing right out of the back yard. The kitchen was very well appointed, good cookware, plates, cups, etc. bed were comfortable with really nice pillows. We spent most of our time around the fire pit or on the screened porch. A great place for relaxing!

We absolutely love this spot! Second time here and it’s the perfect mix of family friendly and peaceful for the parents. Kids could hang downstairs or near the pier while we relaxed in the family room and screened in porch. Can’t say enough about this home away from home!
