We've stayed in this area several times and David and Johanna's property was the most secluded with the additional of a large yard, tidal pond, small private beach area and new dock. The beds and linens were great and the heating system top notch since we were there when a cold front came through. The kitchen was the best stocked we've seen and we had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving meal. It is clear that the home still has a few renovations in the works but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay.

The house was amazing. Very spacious and cozy. The description of the house is very on point. There were even Christmas decorations up which added ambiance considering we traveled there for Christmas. We did have to move a few out of harms way(the little kids), but all in all the decorations added flair to the space. There wasn’t much interaction, because everything was great. But we were kept informed of the necessary information.

Simple little cottage with beautiful surroundings. We were in town to compete in the St.Marys Fair and the proximity to town while still being very private was perfect! Only critique would be access to some basic cleaning supplies like a broom. The kids dropped some breakfast crumbs and grass had been freshly mowed and we tracked quite a bit of grass in and didn't have a way to quickly clean it up. Hope to stay again when we visit the fair next year !

We had everything we needed and more! Kimberly was very welcoming and kept in contact to see if we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Landon was a fantastic host-very responsive and the home was accurate to the description. Our kids absolutely loved the amenities-the trampoline, treehouse, swing, crab pots, and fire pit all got a ton of use! There were also tons of games and books for the kids, and the home was very cozy, with gorgeous views for the adults. We will definitely be back!

Just like the last time, a beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and peaceful place for the two of us to stay - with fantastic sunset views over the water! Our go-to place for when we come down for a visit to Southern Maryland.

The River Home provided an exceptional experience. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The house itself boasts a modern design and an intuitive layout, ensuring everything is easily accessible and well-organized. Every amenity one could wish for was available, from kitchen essentials to leisure equipment. The outdoor area was particularly impressive, deserving a perfect score of 10 out of 10. It features a netted indoor area equipped with an ice maker, surround sound system, and high-end grill and refrigerator, all of which elevate the outdoor living experience. For those interested in fishing and crabbing, this location is ideal. We enjoyed plentiful catches, adding an exciting element to our stay. Additionally, the convenience of having a grocery store just a 5-minute drive away added to the overall ease and enjoyment of our trip. This home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and nature, making it a top choice for anyone looking to relax.
