Westmorland and Furness : locations de vacances

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

We stayed here for a family get together, there was 16 of us, but it felt like there was plenty of space and lots to do in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was lovely after a day of walking. Highly recommend!

We had a delightful stay in the converted barn. It was so impressive to see the photos of Angela and Wayne's efforts in the instruction book and really appreciated all the information and communication provided. Beds were comfortable, we were warm and all amenities were perfect for what we needed. We definitely want to return one day and will recommend to friends!

Karen was very attentive most helpful. She had the place ready for our arrival and even made flapjacks a totally unexpected treat. Karen even left a pamphlet out of a local walk we could do and possibly see some deer. Our son left his mobile phone behind and Karen ensured it was posted to our next address that day express post. This is going above and beyond what is required for a B&B and was hugely appreciated.

This is the second time we've stayed at Andrew's place and it won't be the last. Perfect base for exploring the area. Within walking distance of all local amenities and sea front. Lovely property, beautifully decorated and clean and tidy. Very private, dog friendly, great value for money, and the hot tub really is the icing on the cake for us! What's not to love? :)

A perfect weekend - every little detail was 5*. The views were beautiful, the accommodation was amazing and so spacious! The host Stuart was super responsive. We went to the cafe on the farm for breakfast and it was also lovely. We will for sure be returning! Thank you for having us!

We stayed over New Year, 6 of us including 2 small children. Everyone had a nice time, especially the kids as there was lots of space in the cottage and good facilites on site... pool, games room and cinema room. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Would stay again.
