We absolutely loved staying at Donal’s place. The place is modern and clean, very quiet and has a great natural lighting. We had such a a peaceful sleep in the great bed. The surrounding nature and landscapes are exactly what we were looking for. Donal was very attentive, responsive and caring for our needs during our stay. The perfect location for exploring the beautiful nature of Ireland.

We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to the beach as well as coffee shops/restaurants. The place was lovely and nice inside. Our internet wasn't working and wasn't able to be fixed in time for us before we left. All in all a great spot and would stay again.

Don’t spend another minute looking and book this beautiful house with the most impressive Atlantic views ever. We loved Barbara‘s home. It was close to Clifton town and perfect for any touring around the Conamara region. It was in a quiet secluded area with killer views and a private beach that my kids loved. I will miss waking up to this view every morning. Thank you for an amazing experience in Connamara.. Clodagh the host were very responsive with instant replies. Thank you and we will come back again someday.

We had a fantastic family holiday in Doohoma . The house had everything we needed for a large family gathering ( 11 and a baby) and was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The house was very well equipped with cooking utensils and essential kitchen supplies. It was lovely to have the warm fire in the cold evenings. The surrounding area is wonderful, such a beautiful part of Mayo. There are gorgeous beaches and cliff walks within 30 minutes drive. The beach at Doohoma Head is a very short drive or a leisurely walk away and stunning . There is also a golf course and football pitch beside it. We walked to both the Searod Inn and the Tra Bui which are both highly recommended. The pool table in the Sea Rod was a great hit with the young ones. We also had a lovely meal in the Sea Rod. Keith was attentive during our stay and check-in was very easy with the key safe. Would love to return . Thank you Owen and Keith.

We absolutely loved being able to call this place home during our visit to Ireland. Sheila and Redmond were very responsive and friendly in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and conveniently walkable to the pier, shops and pubs. Our girls especially loved the little playroom - perfect for our family trip!! We’ll definitely be back!

If you want a place out of the way but with access to everything with ease, this is the place to visit. Barbara is the best host you could wish for.

Schönes, grosses Haus mit Blick auf die Bucht. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Das Internet war zwar sehr langsam, aber vielleicht ist das manchmal gar nicht so schlecht.

Thanks Patrick. We loved every minute of our stay in your beautiful spacious home in it's stunning setting. Was so nice to get away from the hustle & bustle and catch up with our pals with stunning scenery all around. We really enjoyed the kayaks, Ping Pong, archery & barbecuing in the garden. Hoping to return again :)

This was my first visit to Achill Island, and it did not disappoint! The house is comfortable, large enough for a family (though it was just myself this trip), the views are spectacular, and the area is quiet, peaceful and soothing to the soul. I got to experience snow in Ireland and Storm Darragh while I was there, and though the house lost power for a couple of days, the house was cozy and warm enough, there were plenty of blankets and the hot water was plentiful, even without electricity. Jen was kind enough to have the house cleaned halfway through my visit, and the neighbor across the road popped over to check on me, take the bins to the curb, and make sure I had everything I needed. The area is amazingly beautiful, and I walked on the beach many times in the morning or evenings, listening to the sound of the surf and the birds and feeling at peace. I decided to return to Achill Island for Christmas and New Year to experience soul soothing place for a little while longer.

Beautiful location with stunning views! Perfect for watching the sun setting down behind the sea. Very walkable into Strandhill to the lovely cafés, restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful few days at Michelle's house in Strandhill. The house was perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean, very well appointed and very comfortable - all you ever need for a short break / a week or more. The walks from the doorstep really set this location out from others - up the mountain or down to the sea or out to the island (be careful, it's tidal). The pub 2 minutes walk away (Bree's) is also lovely and friendly (plus they do pizzas). Michelle is a first class host and there to support as required. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing time here, lovely clean house, comfortable beds, right beside the sea and beach. Couldn’t ask anymore really.. Sean was super helpful too and left us nice welcome package and a bag of logs for the fire. Definitely will be back Thanks !

This is my second time staying here with my family. It's a very unique, spacious home, perfect for big groups, with a beautiful open plan kitchen/ dining area, cosy sitting area with open turf fire, gorgeous bathroom, I could go on. And Bernie and Val are super helpful and flexible hosts. The area is very scenic and peaceful, well off the beaten track, but all the more special for that. I was delighted to see a sauna opened up nearby at the back of Tigh Lee, and information signs with an app detailing the area's connection to famous Irish writers. Everyone (plus dog) from 0-70 had a fabulous time.

Après un accueil adorable nous avons pleinement profité de notre séjour dans un cadre calme et paisible. Les conseils avisés de Theresa nous ont permis de découvrir des endroits magnifiques ( Falaises de Moher / Tour du Connemara). Theresa a su prendre soin de nous et nous recommandons ses soins. Elle a su personnaliser pour chacun d’entre nous un massage bien être des moments plus apaisant. Merci encore Theresa nous avons hâte de revenir !!!

Aoife's place was amazing! there was enough room for the 5 people that went on this this. Aoife was out of town during our stay, but had a friend, Sarah, available for us if needed during our stay, which made us American travelers feel more like friends inside the country. Aoife was available and responded quickly whenever we needed anything and gave many great recommendations for nearby areas. Inside the home you find 3 lovely, clean bedrooms and 1 of the 2 bathrooms. The 2nd bathroom is located in the laundry area of the home. Outside you are left with breathtaking views of the ocean. We all loved being able to see the ocean views from each room of the house. The roads leading up to the home narrow but gives you the privacy from the main roads, which we absolutely loved. This stay was the first part of our trip around the country and we would have loved to stay for the entire trip! If a quiet, scenic trip is what you are looking for, this place is perfect for you like it was for us!!

The house is very pleasant, with a view of the sea on one side and Croagh Patrick on the other, which we climbed to the top of. Not easy, but it's magnificent up there! The little town of Westport, a 15-minute drive away, is lovely and has everything you need (supermarkets, pubs, shops, etc.) The owner is very friendly and communication was excellent.

We had a lovely relaxing time staying in Rachaels modern but cosy cottage. Beautiful surroundings. We have stayed multiple times & will be back again!

We loved staying here and Bernie is a super host. The location is super and safe. Easy access to lovely beach. Even the dogs were sad leaving! Thank you.

Cottage by the sea is a beautiful family home in a stunning location. Nothing was any trouble to Simon and our needs were well looked after. the house and gardens were so nice we didn't want to leave, yet there were so many beautiful walks and things to do nearby. A great location for anyone wanting to explore Westport and it's surroundings but want a quieter location just outside the town.

My brother and myself were paying a visit to relatives who live in the area..we found Sheila’s air B&B to be very accommodating..very homely ..warm ..private ..as my brother described it to being like “ home from home “.accommodation was very clean and well equipped .We could not find fault at all . We met Sheila before departing and had a lovely friendly chat and discovered she knew our relatives . We would definitely use this accommodation again if it met our requirement dates .

Beautiful stay for a weekend away in Rosses Point. Lauren’s house is decorated with style and comfort. There was everything we needed and could ask for available for our stay. The location is a stone throws from the local village. We hope to visit again

Can we give 6 stars?? Orlagh is the most lovely host and gave a lot of useful recommendations, thanks Orlagh for the warm welcome. The place is gorgeous and the view is stunning! There is a walkable loop around that offers incredible views of the land and the sea. It’s just STUNNING and when it’s raining (it’s Ireland after all it has to!) you can snuggle in front of the fire place!! We loved our stay and we will be back - we recommend this place 200%
