We had one night here in our way to Hokitika and we wished we had stayed longer. The views are incredible and the apartment has everything you need to cook a full meal if you wish. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and everything very clean. Dani and Marks daughter is adorable and willing to help bring our bags, such a cutie.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

We only stayed here for one night on our journey up the coast, but it was easy to find, very quiet and a spacious apartment. We walked to Pancake rock (which was interesting) then walked the Pororari river track, which was good and not crowded. The people in the information centre were very helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go on the beach but it looked nice.

Very comfortable bed which is always important. A large bathroom with instant hot water. Jo's place was very suitable for an overnight stay.

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

The interior was very cozy, and the view outside was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there.

My husband and I had a wonderful 5-night stay! The house was spotlessly clean, and the comfortable bed was a dream to sleep in. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house. What really made our stay special, though, was the attention to detail and the care that Carolyn had clearly put into making sure we had everything we needed to feel welcome and at home. Thank you for being a part of our wonderful experience in New Zealand! 🥰

Robert’s place was wonderful, quiet and close to the sea. A very peaceful place that I would thoroughly recommend to guests.

This was a beautiful home rather than a bland place to stay. So much character and the property had a real charm. The surroundings were beautiful even in the torrential rain. We could see the waves crashing onto the rocks from the windows - very atmospheric. As with other reviews, I advise that you stay for more than one night

Noeleen is a fantastic host, the property is absolutely beautiful and in such a great location, we will be visiting and staying regularly at this property and seeing the beautiful Westcoast as a direct result of how lovely and accommodating Noeleen was, our experience with this property was simply amazing.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Refugium, sehr privat und voller schöner Dinge zum entdecken. Hier können sich alle - von Groß bis Klein - wohlfühlen. Es hat uns allen viel Spaß gemacht, z.B. die Glühwürmchenhöhle zu entdecken, während eines Bades im Pool die Sterne zu beobachten oder am Bach nach Gold zu schürfen und die Flusskrebse zu beobachten. Unser Highlight war eine persönliche Führung durch den Wald auf den Pfaden der früheren Goldsucher und zur Goldmine. Wir zum Land und zur Geschichte sowie der Natur viel gelernt. Fran und Grant waren tolle Gastgeber. Ebenfalls können wir den Tip zum Besuch der Carew Falls absolut weiterempfehlen. Der Weg ist einfach und der Wasserfall sowie die Aussicht sind unglaublich lohnenswert.

Het huis van Daniel aan de Whitehorse Bay is fantastisch. Het is mooi, gezellig en van alles voorzien om je van een perfect verblijf te laten genieten. Maar er is nog meer. Het huis ligt aan een prachtige, woeste baai die je overdondert met zijn geluid en schoonheid. Die baai is exclusief van jou en geloof ons, zo'n gevoel had je nog niet eerder. Dank aan Daniel om zo'n unieke plek te willen delen met de geluksvogels die er kunnen verblijven.
