Ideal place to get to work - beautiful location, friendly locals, will definitely be back

From minute 1 of booking this amazing lodge David was extremely responsive and friendly. This gave us a warm idea of what was to come. Upon arrival we were then greeted by another very kind and welcoming lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) who shown us into the perfect cottage with extreme politeness. The lodge was filled with everything needed, hot tub was warm on arrival, TV was huge and could be rotated (can even face the hottub. This was a bonus for us as we are movie geeks 👍🏽 The kitchen was stunning and some essentials were provided that we actually forgot to bring (salt, pepper, oil). Cannot fault a single bit of the stay. Immaculate. The outside porch was tremendous too. It is closed off nice so that even when you’re in or out the hot tub you feel 0 draft. Upon leaving we spoke to 3 lovely ladies, 2 cleaners and 1 other lady who was also super lovely (sorry no names again). We had a wondeful weekend in Edinburgh and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is ideal, close enough to the main sites, but still private and quiet. Paul left some essentials in the apartment, which was much appreciated. The apartment felt bigger than on the pictures and had great touches, from original features to modernised fixtures.

This is the most beautiful cottage! We spent two nights here with our dog and could access some great walks right on the doorstep, all recommended by our host, Jo. Great recommendations for the local pub ‘The Tappit Hen’, one of the best atmospheres in any local pub we have visited. Very friendly locals and some great places to eat. Would 100% recommend a stay here, Jo will make you very welcome!

Wow! What can one say except this was truly, truly exceptional in every way. From initial booking to the end of our stay Sheila was the most prefect hostess, providing information and advice in a timely fashion and with enthusiasm. We felt she was a friend before we even met her. And the accommodation! Outstanding is an understatement. Five Star Deluxe. Pristine in its cleanliness, comfortable in the extreme, with every amenity that was required readily available. The location was perfect, especially for golfers being so close to The Old Course - roughly 90 seconds to the 'Home of Golf'. One cannot offer sufficient praise. We will never forget our stay!

My group and I had a lovely time at Mary's place! The caravan is very cozy and is just a short walk to a bus stop that takes you to Edinburgh proper. We loved having easy access to the city while also getting to Escape to a quieter area with such beautiful scenery. Mary is aso incredibly kind and responsive. When my group came up against unforseen circumstances, she was very caring, communicative, and helpful. A wonderful host and sweet place to stay!

A unique, well-equipped apartment for a family trip. In the kitchen all the necessary appliances. Cosy living room. Clean bathroom. We will be happy to come back☺️

Sehr schöne, extravagante Unterkunft mit schönem Ambiente. Gute Lage, um auch mal nach Edinburgh zu fahren. Toller, abgeschlossener Garten für die Hunde. Und eine sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeberin! Wir haben uns bei Fiona sehr wohl gefühlt!
