What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

The apartment was lovely, clean, well kept and just as described. Sadiya was also amazing, friendly, welcoming and always quick to respond if we needed anything. She really made the stay feel easy and stress free. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

What a place and what a host! Feels like we’ve found a gem. The location is simply stunning and so peaceful! The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a real treat and the views - just wow! If you are looking for a retreat close to all the highlights of the cost - this is the place. Steve is an absolute super star. The kids loved him and he couldn’t do enough for us - filling the fridge with goodies, lending the kids fossil hammers and just being so helpful. The kids loved feeding the animals and getting to know the two dogs. They were in tears when we had to leave. We will be back and have left feeling so rested, relaxed and happy! We stayed in the Manor for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our relations from Australia. We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were a perfect size and could fit us all in for games and entertaining ourselves, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the crockery and glassware we needed, the children loved the games room and the hot tub and the house was beautifully adorned with Christmas decorations. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this characterful house.

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

Characterful barn in a beautiful setting. Exactly what we were after. Richard is very friendly and very helpful. Walks from your doorstep. Lots of interesting stuff nearby. Our youngest wants to return to the 'tractor house'. Recommended!

We booked rather last minute and Maria was very responsive and flexible. The place was pristine and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings throughout are great! We felt very much at home! Maria was warm and welcoming and gave us good ideas for where to eat. We truly loved our stay!

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

We loved it so much the first time we stayed here, we went back again. It doesn't disappoint. It's location is beautiful and peaceful, yet close to all the fantastic trappings the North Yorkshire Moors are famous for, whether that is a visit to the coast or an Abbey or one of many beautiful historic towns. We will be going back again!

We had a lovely weekend at Swallows Nest, the property is really spacious and set on 3 levels. My eldest son joined us from Manchester and we were able to watch the moon raking festival which was really pretty and great fun. Thanks for a lovely time, would really recommend

Our 2nd visit to Pauline and Graham's Airbnb so the draw to return was strong. The moment we pulled into the drive we felt at home straight away. The weather was perfect so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the birds whilst having a few beers. The welcome you receive is special and the accommodation is perfect with everything you need for a comfortable few days away. This 2 night break, we visited Rievaulx Abbey and Nunnington Hall both worth a look. The day we left it was interesting watching the bird man ring the various Tits. We look forward to returning again soon.

We all throughly enjoyed our Christmas in the cottage. Extremely comfortable stay. Great location in the heart of Menston village and also walking distance to country walks. Thank you Bex and Rob for being very responsive hosts and for your recommendations.

Had a great visit! Very fortunate for John to be understanding and allow us to film our final student short film. John was always very quick to answer any questions, he was very understanding of filming which is always appreciated. The location was beautiful with some lovely surrounding scenery. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Sara rang a week before check in so we could chat about any questions I had for our stay and to give me some information regarding:check in and our stay. We booked for my sister’s hen party and the layout was perfect for the social activities of our stay and she had a great time. The whole party was thrilled will the property. A gorgeous home away from home.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

This hidden gem was perfect for our family getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. we were welcomed with a smile, and a beautiful home made cake and loaf of bread, as well as a fun "boo-basket' with hot chocolate, smores ingredients and a pumpkin to carve. cottage was exactly as described and clean and tidy. we loved the indoor swimming pool and games room, allowing us the holiday fun irrespective of the weather. The Coachman Inn pub only a mile away, had the freshest pint and one of the best steaks we've ever had. close to Pickering, were we took the steam train to Goathland, and Dalby forest to go swing at Go Ape and ride bikes. and only 30 mins from Whitby to get a dose of sea-side and fish n chips! the grounds of the cottage were beautiful too, for a lovely evening stroll, where we met the sweetest chickens and ducks. Truly a fab week away to recharge the batteries !! thanks so much!! and will definitely recommend!

Excellent accomodation. Just fantastic. The kids and us had so much to do and so much to see on The grounds alone which is extraordinary. Stunning fish pond with lots of massive fish. Impressive walks with space for a camp fire which was well utilised. Chicken to feed and tasty apples from a few apple trees. Then there's the indoor swimming pool, the main reason we chose this property and we weren't disappointed. The kids LOVED IT, we all did. You get about 2 or 3 hours swimming time in total a day which is just great. Can't beat the location either, lots to see and do in close proximity. Cottage was clean, tidy and had all we needed. The hosts were splendid also, easy to contact and respond promptly. They'll assist in any way they can. We're certainly looking forward to rebooking for our next holiday. Thanks.

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

We loved our time here, surrounded by nature - and lovely isolated place for a reset. Hoping to come back at some point, possibly for a winter getaway. Everything was dead easy - parking, self check-in, location, lodge itself, just very easy and homely. Highly recommended.

This little house is so cosy with the wood burner and everything you need for a getaway in the country. Watch the kestrels hunt through the window and make friends with the goats and chickens. Wonderful little brook and woods to explore and a wee paddle around the lake as dear ran past was such a treat. This is on a farm and not a palace but if you want a private getaway on a farm with access to beautiful countryside - this does the job perfectly. Fabulous garden and location. Beautiful view from the sun room. Great pool, perfect temperature and very comfortable bed. All round lovely clean and quiet place.
