The Mangy Moose is the place to be! John has thought of everything! We came over our spring break (March) for fishing, so we didn't get to use all the summer amenities... But we enjoyed the beautiful kitchen (for yummy home cooked meals), awesome large dining table (for meals and games), large tv with lots of channels, beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and the kids LOVED the club house. Plus the 4-bed & 4-bath setup was perfect to blend (2) families together for a very comfortable stay for 9 people (total) for the week. This place is a true gem and we are already talking about next year!

Really wonderful house, perfect space for our kids to stay on the lower floor, they enjoyed many of the books and puzzles. Everything was very comfortable, easy and friendly communication. 8 minute easy drive to Caberfae.

We really enjoyed this place. Albertena was proactive in communicating. It was close to many places and very clean. We will stay here again if ever in the area again. Beautiful and spacious place.

The place was clean, comfortable, cozy, and conveniently located. It had everything we needed. Check in and communication was very easy. Loved being close to the trail and close to town. The big back yard was nice too. Would definitely stay again!

This was a good affordable place to stay. It is close to Caberfae Peaks and Crystal Mountain. On Sunday morning, we could hear the beautiful church bells, it was charming. The hosts are well organized, and they are quick to respond.

Donald’s place was clean, inviting, and homey. We loved the special touches that made our visit feel special: the Bath&Body Works hand soaps, fancy adjustable living room furniture, electric fireplace, an array of detergents for the washer, extra cozy blankets, being able to park inside the garage, easy assessable snow shovel (and boy did we need it!), a variety of items available for use in the kitchen, the new sponge on the kitchen dish-wand, etc. These items may seem minor, but they all contributed in helping us truly feel at home! We loved that Don’s place was pet friendly. Our two little dogs made themselves right at home. We also appreciated that Don had someone ready to plow the driveway during our stay. We stayed during a big snow storm and ended up getting plowed out twice. Thank you for having this set up! Thank you for having us! We hope to return again soon.

PM was communicative leading up to and during our stay. Everything was as described and even cosier than the photos. Great location - close to all amenities in Cadillac. Towels and other linens were provided!

Brenda and Jim’s place is great if you are in the area as it’s very quiet and private, beautiful surroundings and not too far from TC or the Frankfort area. We spent the weekend for the local Ironman and it was the right choice. You get all the rest you need and are close enough to both the race venue and some other small towns with nice places to eat and chill. The property was very clean, well organized and really spacious. I’d totally recommend it.

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our getaway on Stevens Lake. The setting of this house is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. We loved listening to the loon on the lake and our son had a great time down by the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We arrived late at night on a foggy night, but Jane's directions were perfectly clear so we had no trouble locating this out of the way spot. Would highly recommend.

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

This was a great stay! It’s close to downtown without being downtown. It was nice to be closer to nature with the ease of the city being a short commute. The place was exactly like the pictures and the host is very responsive.

A very nice apartment. Spotlessly clean. Functional kitchen. Modern laundry machines. About 8 mins from Crystal.

Overall, our stay was fantastic! Abby's place was wonderful! it was tucked away in the woods/forest with the most beautiful landscape view! We thought our little place was a perfect home away from home. It was tucked away in the forest, but Abby's instructions made it easy to find! Also, an extra star for the high end bidet. 🙃

I enjoyed my stay at Kim’s cabin. She was very responsive to my questions. There were pamphlets in the room for local activities. There is also a fire pit and horseshoes outside of the cabins. I will be back in the future.

This was a perfect place to stay for a getaway in the wilderness and not too far away from town. There was little reception and it was spotty but personally we were hoping for a tech free weekend so this worked out nicely. The bathroom is connected to another (locked) area that gets rented out but we had no issues with other guests. Everything was super easy to find and everytime we thought we needed or forgot something Alysia had it. There was no coffee machine but they did have a French press if you’re a coffee drinker. All instructions were clear and Alysia was very fast with responding. If you want to have a campfire we recommend bringing a lighter or fire starters, as we did not see one round but we may have missed it. Also metal sticks for marshmallows because the fire pit is deep and the wooden ones are too flimsy. It was super close to the national rollaway hiking trail with a gorgeous view you have to check out. Overall this place was perfect for us, we hope you enjoy it too!

We loved our stay here! Tasha thought of everything and even had warm slippers available and an extra space heater for the door area. The space is unique and well done. Private and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a meal. I hope to stay here again soon!

We booked at Mackinaw Timber’s Cabins when we couldn’t get a room at local hotels. It turned out that our cabin was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. It was clean, comfortable, much more affordable than a hotel, and the decor was perfect for an up north area. Kim was quick to respond to any of our questions and clearly cares about taking care of her guests.

Had a lovely stay at the Timbers. Was a tiny but well outfitted and organized cabin. We had everything we needed and more. Very well located, too! Would definitely stay again!

This cabin was just as described . It was very secluded and peaceful. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The cabin was cozy and had all the amenities we may have needed to use per the host. Excellent get away spot and close to Cadillac if you need to get out and about. Our host was very quick to respond whenever we had a question . Would definitely recommend this cozy cabin getaway and I would love to stay again sometime.

Cute as the dickens! Great communication! It is tiny so you definitely want to be friends with whoever comes with you but the cozy cabin is great to get away from it all. We had everything we needed and enjoyed a Netflix movie at night.
