We loved this flat, it was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and in a fabulous location with great views. It has a homely, personal feel and our children loved the toys and games! The sandy beach is a short walk down the hill and we spent a lot of time here. It is quieter than the main beach in swanage, a perfect place for children. Great to have a parking space too. Highly recommended!

Lydia was a perfect host from the start, and we loved our stay with her. Great communication made our check-in soo easy, and the place is beautiful. Honestly perfect for our short stay in Bournemouth, and so convenient - right at the top of town! Defo will use her again, thank you Lydia x

My children and I loved staying here. Perfect for us all and had everything we needed. The scones, clotted cream and Jam were a very lovely touch as were other items to make our short stay a breeze. Comfortable in all aspects too. We walked from here to a local pub which was also great. Julia was extremely helpful in getting the EV charger going which was another bonus to staying here. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Charlotte’s place. It was in a central location and just a few minutes walk to the beach. The place was cosy and well equipped and we enjoyed staying there. Charlotte was really responsive and gave us some great recommendation of places to try in Bournemouth and walks in the surrounding area. I would completely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Cara‘s Portland cottage. We were there over Christmas week. Cara had decorated the house beautifully for Christmas and was really responsive to every request. We know Portland well and have many friends we were there to visit, so we already knew what a fabulous place it is to be. The cottage was really well stocked with all the equipment we needed and more. Cara left us a fabulous hamper of Christmas bits and bobs - so much we couldn’t get through it all! Thank you, Cara. We will be back!

We had a lovely few days at Jo’s place ! Great location to explore Jurassic coast and Dorset from - only 40-45min away. Jo was a great host, friendly, helpful and quick to respond. Comfortable beds, great bed lined, comfortable sofas and lovely fire place with wood supplied. Great space for a family of four with everything you need - thank you, Jo + family !

The house was ideal for our Christmas guests. Louise and Barry could not have been more helpful and kind and we loved the Christmas decorations!!

This is a great Air Bnb- spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a great location for exploring the Dorset coast line. It was such a peaceful setting and the thoughtful little extras made it even more enjoyable (the most delicious chocolate brownies!). Perfect for couples or families.

We have had the best time at Poorton House, staying a week at the beautiful cottage in Dorset. We were lucky to have gotten this week away as a wedding gift, and it couldn't have been a better babymoon! The house is very comfortable with all the essentials you may need, including full kitchen, fireplace for colder evenings, amazing bathroom and multiple rooms to enjoy. During warmer days you can use the beautiful garden with barbecue area, and there are many great walking routes and pubs nearby, as well as day trips to towns and beaches. We would definitely recommend and will be back!

we had a lovely few days away in a lovely space with beautiful weather. The house offered space for 2 families and our dog was in his element outside. Mark was extremely helpful and friendly but respectful of space. boys loved the canoeing!

Great place and great host. The accommodation is delightful, squeaky clean and a delight to spend time there. Full stocked kitchen, with coffee, milk and even choccy biscuits! Had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan, who is respectful and friendly. It's a fantastic part of the world, and I couldn't have wished for a better base to stay. Beautiful apartment in a great location with amazing sea views. Situated on a quiet road in walking distance to Lyme Regis. The apartment was very clean and well equiped for an enjoyable stay. Melanie was an excellent host and loved the added touch of a welcoming box of biscuits. Would come back again for sure.

Paul and Tracy were fantastic hosts and were super friendly and responsive. They greeted us as we arrived and showed us around and made us feel at home. The property was pristine and had all the amenities you would need. There were so many little personal touches and made the whole experience feel that much more special. Shawn was responsive and considerate and all our needs were met. Shawn communicated with us prior to our trip to answer any questions and made us feel at home. The location was exactly what we were looking for. We are very happy and have family in the area- we will definitely rent this place again when in Bridport!
