Excellent location! Great stay for a family away from home! House was magnificent and modern. Beautiful upstairs with an open layout and a downstairs living room. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Close to the Newton center to access the (T)rain so Boston is easily accessible. Great communication with Amir! He responded quickly with any questions I had! Would definitely come back for another family vacation!

We had an excellent time at Brad’s beautiful home. Beds were very comfortable, enough hot water for several showers, and all of the cooking ware you would need! Well these things are what catch our attention when traveling for work. Brad is an awesome guy and fantastic host. He was there from time to time, and there was never an awkward moment. He is very personable and easy going. I would stay here 10 out of 10 times when passing through.

This is a wonderful place for a family gathering. There can't be too many 17th century rentals (1686?) with amazing original fireplace and wood. We enjoyed exploring the house - 3 staircases, many fireplaces, surprising rooms and passageways. Very nicely decorated rooms. Large kitchen and pantry, comfortable seating in living area, on screen porch, outside on large lawn.

Kate's house in Gloucester is an ideal place to experience one of the best beaches on the North Shore. Kate's home accommodated the eight of us very comfortably; the proximity to the beach was second to none and Kate and Michelle's response to a couple of minor issues we had was expeditious and friendly. There aren't enough superlatives I could use to recommend Kate's place.

This was a first family vacation since the kids were little. 6 adults in a very spacious home ! Could not have been better. The living room, dining room and completely modern kitchen [fully capable of any meal preparations] made for family fun and connections. The patio and fenced in yard was supurb - and the complete kitchen BBQ set-up, fire pit, fenced in yard all made for the perfect vacation. A small slice of paradise. Thank you to the Chambers family for letting us stay in your home. We were delighted and felt safe and secure in all things. Robertas’s property was incredible. It’s everything you need and more. From the back deck, to the pool/hot tub, and of course the beautiful dock on the river. She was very communicative throughout the process and was helpful in any question I had. I would recommend everybody to check this spot out, you won’t regret it

The host communicated well and was very thoughtful. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the heating unit was a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, we had a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was great! Views were awesome from the top balcony! We wished the bushes and shrubs had been trimmed a little to have a better view from the main level but it was still a nice view from the one area there. House was quite roomy and had everything we needed in the kitchen. There are not tvs in the two spare rooms which would have been good after dinner for our teenagers while winding down after family time. The host is wonderful and communicated great. Overall we had a great family vacation and a good time. The house is nice. Would recommend!

I’ve stayed at Karen’s Airbnb multiple times while traveling for work, and it’s always been a fantastic experience. Karen is a great host—she’s quick to respond to messages and makes sure everything is just right. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it perfect for both work trips and relaxing stays. I always look forward to returning and highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

The Dogtown Cabin in Rockport is truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. Julie was incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. She was always quick to respond, making communication a breeze and helping everything go smoothly during our trip. As animal lovers, we couldn’t have picked a better spot – playing with Darwin and Azore, visiting the horses and chickens, and birdwatching right on the grounds was beyond delightful! The cabin itself was so cozy and thoughtfully equipped, with all the essentials and a few extra touches like fun games, fantastic books, a Bluetooth speaker, and beautiful art and antiques that made the space extra special. I especially loved relaxing on the porch with a cup of tea, wandering the peaceful Dogtown woods, and stargazing at night. Plus, being so close to the charming town of Rockport was the perfect bonus! It was everything I could’ve hoped for and more.

We arrived in the evening after a long plane ride and there was wine and cheese and crackers for us. Maude stocked the food so well we hardly neede to buy anything. This was such a bonus because we were at the World Figure Skating Championship all day and evening. It was a great stay! Thank you Maude!

Michelle was very responsive and great at communicating leading up to our stay. The house was easy to find, good neighborhood, perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Parking was included which was awesome. The T was easy to walk to so we could go downtown every day easily. The host recommendation for Lulu’s Allston was spot on, it was nearby and great. We felt right at home and had a wonderful stay and check out was also easy. Thank you Michelle for hosting a wonderful place!

This Airbnb was one of the best we ever had stayed in! Her house was beautiful, cozy and clean! Johanna was a great host and would definitely love to stay here again!!

We stayed at 8 Lambert Street for nearly a month while visiting relatives in Medford. The house is cozy and well furnished. Did a lot of cooking in the kitchen, which had plenty of cooking equipment, the basics of salt, pepper, olive and vegetable oil, and even a set of seasonings. Because we were staying over Christmas, Beth had done some holiday decorating before we arrived, which was wonderful and made the house very cheery. She was a responsive host and kept us stocked with the basics like paper towels and toilet tissue. She even included a baby gift for our new grandson on one occasion. The house was great for our stay - the steam heat combined with the modern thermostat kept us warm and cozy, even on some very cold nights. It's an older house, yes, but full of charm and warmth. The neighborhood is quiet and there are lots of food choices nearby if you don't want to cook. Highly recommend Nappi's Restaurant (cash only) and Fioritaly Trattoria. Off street parking a plus.

This is an authentic Cambridge home that has been owned by the host's family for multiple generations. Kevin is accommodating, and he generously left some snacks and drinks in the full kitchen for us. Well-stocked kitchen was super convenient for eating breakfasts. Note: there are significant stairs to get into the unit. Once there it's quite spacious. And I love the operable bathroom window. :) Thanks for a lovely stay in a convenient, walkable neighborhood!

We loved staying at this lakeside cabin for thanksgiving with family. Beautiful sunsets, great location, charming house. Loved it!

Marla's vacation home was very lovely. We liked the pictures of her place, but once we arrived we realized that she had remodeled a number of rooms. Each room was updated, very clean and cozy. Marla has made sure that her place is stocked with all of the large and small conveniences that guests would want in a home away from home. The location and the surroundings are stunning, especially with the Fall foliage. One can tell that Marla takes great pride in her beautiful rental. -Mark & Susan G

The house was perfect for a wedding weekend for our family of 10, including 3 children. The house is spacious, private, and very well equipped. It has everything you might need, including a great selection of toys and books for children. The hosts were super-responsive, answering our questions immediately. After our first day we figured out it was easiest to turn around in the driveway rather than trying to back out onto the busy road. We were sad to leave. Thank you for sharing your wonderful historic home.

We had a lovely stay as a mixed group of kids and adults in this quiet house with a great pool, outdoor space, and common areas. You can walk to the bike path easily from the house and the next door neighbors sell veggies and eggs. Makes it easy to get back and forth to the cape for activities without staying on the other side of the bridge!

This was my second time staying here and it was every bit as perfect as my first stay! Christine's place is incredibly comfortable, clean, spacious and beautiful. Highly recommended!

This home met our needs for three families with kids for a beach vacation. Plenty of room to gather together or find a quiet spot away from the masses. The pool was as advertised, great option for the non beach goer. The beach entrance was a two minute walk from the house with plenty of beach to set up for the day. We had two concerns we brought to Anthony’s attention, the central air and the pool. Both concerns were immediately addressed. One of the bedrooms, main floor, is not a queen bed, but a full size. We had to adjust our sleeping arrangements, but that should not deter you from booking this house. There are a lot of stairs from floor to floor. Plenty of decks and patio sitting areas. We made good use of the fire pit. Anthony does live on site in the bottom level of the home, separate entrance from rest of home. There was no interference nor interactions unless we had a question. We would not have known this without reading the reviews. The house will not disappoint.

Beautiful and quaint New England house with great antique decor (we loved the framed french cafe menus). Mary and Dana were both super attentive and responsive; they clearly care about the home. They gave us great recommendations for things to see and do in Manchester and the surrounding areas (I recommend Singing Beach!!) I didn't think we'd use the elevator at all but it was handy for bringing our luggage up and down. The bed was super comfy. We loved sitting by the pool in the afternoon! We'd gladly stay here again if circumstances bring us back to Manchester-by-the-Sea.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!
