We had a lovely stay. Beautiful Georgian and house with lots of character. Beautiful light and airy and and extremely cosy in the evenings. It was in a brilliant location, a 2 minute walk from town and the local harbour. Some great places to eat and lovely pubs. It is within driving distance of various lovely walks and there is a walk nearby by the Solent, with plenty of wildlife. We had a brilliant week and would definitely return. William was a fantastic host, always contactable for any questions.

Isobel was a great host! Great communication, very welcoming and really appreciated being able to have a late check out. Such a lovely home - quirky decor and beautiful colours- a lovely change from some of the plain magnolia painted Airbnbs we have stayed in! Perfect location - only 4 minutes walk to the beach! Very grateful that we could take our little dog with us! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we would love to return!

The place is stunning it is very close to the railway but the noise is minimal. There’s some amazing places to eat close by and dog friendly too. There’s market was amazing and we will definitely come back again if the place is free xx

A beautifully-appointed house with spacious rooms, an enormous garden and a great location for everything you want to do in Lyme.

We had such a lovely week away. Jonathon’s house was a home from home. The location is perfect and easy to travel to beaches, wildlife parks and various other tourist attractions. There are supermarkets and shops only a short walk away and plenty of children’s playgrounds which our toddler loved. Communication with Jonathon was easy and he kept us well informed.

We had a wonderful stay at Carole's home. The house was actually a lot bigger than we expected and had a great small garden to relax in at the end of the day. Carole was a great communicator and very helpful in providing instructions, etc. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting elderly relatives in the area. The beach was walking distance as well a number of local attractions. We would have no hesitation in recommending Carole's home and would love to return!

Great stay in a beautifully restored old building with big comfy beds. 5 minutes walk from the beach and a pub serving delicious food (worth booking ahead). Very friendly volunteers at the nearby DD centre/war museum, well worth a visit to see the history of the Isle of Portland and fun for the children, they get to climb inside a tank!

This is a great place! The location is terrific with the center being about six minutes and a huge grocery about three. The shower room is new and the shower about the best we’ve had! Note bedrooms are upstairs, bathroom down. Great TV with access to Netflix. Large kitchen with eating area and lovely back garden. Would stay again.

Joanne was very responsive and helpful with replies. The house was clean and spacious. Our families had an amazing Christmas week.

We stayed for a full week to work, Katherine was super proactive with any questions we had and even applied for an online permit for our car so we could park wherever we wanted in the road. It was clean and had all the necessities. If we are ever in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Katherine to stay again :)

A stay at this gorgeous little home is highly recommended . Beautifully peaceful , easy access to great restaurants , lovely walks along the river.A walk to Harnham through the water meadows is a must do ! A very relaxing quiet place , a place to unwind but in the heart of the town .

If you're a large group then this is a great find. It's on the high street so great access to shops, pubs and restaurants, but also it's not too noisy. Beds are comfy and the showers are powerful - what more could you want!

A good base for exploring the area - so close to lovely countryside and pretty towns, especially Wells. Kate was very helpful.

Perfect place to stay for a shirt-term break. Ours was not normal season but all the same plenty to do. Property was very central and incredibly comfortable

My family and I loved this property. It was well stocked, beautiful and clean. The beds were extremely comfy as were the pillows and duvets. It was in a perfect location, walkable to both the beach and Bournemouth in approximately 20mins. Westbourne was just 10 mins walk away. Communication with Sean was excellent. We’ll definitely return, would highly recommend.

Beautiful home lovely location Hot tub fantastic We had a lovely few days Only issues was no wardrobe or drawer space in first bed room only 4 hangers on back of door and no hairdryer which we found awkward as 3 females trying to get ready but other than that 5 stars ***** Would definitely recommend Thank u Becky

We spent a lovely weekend at Cloud Nine . The home is warm welcoming and decorated beautifully. Lots of quirky artistic pieces, coupled with all mod cons . It was perfect for a group of us ladies on an art weekend. The location is fantastic- a short walk from the beach and a co op . We ate at the Cove House Inn and had a delicious reasonably priced meal in a great location. Only downside is the lack of parking ( which can’t be helped as these are old ,narrow streets) but we did manage to find a space in the car park at the top of the hill . Highly recommended 🙂

A lovely property which has been decorated to a very high standard. It was just a short walk to the beach and 5 to 10 mins unto town. Jane was a very helpful host. Parking is approximately 5 min walk from the property but didn't cause us a problem. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

A great little house with much to recommend it, well located just a twenty-minute walk to the cathedral and high street. The private parking space is right by the back gate and you enter the house via the back door into a sunny well-equipped kitchen. The living/ dining area is spacious and nice that it was fully carpeted. While we were there it was a chilly 2 degrees and our host Qiao could not have been more helpful, checking in with us every day to make sure we knew how to manage the central heating. The internet connection was excellent, a big plus for us as we are writers and needed to be online for chunks of the day. The area was super quiet at night and if you are staying a while and want to be self-catering, there is a large Waitrose within a 5 minute walk. We would happily recommend this little house for anyone wanting to explore Salisbury and the surrounding area.

This was our second visit and we hope there will be more. It was beautiful spring weather and we went to see the flowers at Kingston Lacy. The garden and wider estate are wonderful. It was a special weekend and we were taken to Shell Bay Restaurant on Studland. Big portions, very good food, a view across to Brownsea Island and lots of activity going on outside. The children's menu is for under 16's. Also generous portions. A taxi took us from Salterns Road past the ferry queue and dropped us by the foot passenger walkway to the ferry. It's exciting. You can play on the beach near the ferry while you wait to return. Also we went again to the beach below Canford Cliffs and walked down to spend Sunday playing on the beach. There was paddling and dipping. Bacon sandwiches too as we were in a beach hut (not ours). We also played card games in No 73 again. It's perfect as a family let. A comfortable house which is close to seaside fun and Dorset beauty. Madalene

There were 11 of us that stayed and the house was great. Loads of room so that we weren’t all on top of each other. It was clean and homely and we all very much enjoyed our stay.

Lovely and good equipped place to stay. Lots of room for our family with two dogs. Good size garden and good location.

Whilst our visit was not really for sightseeing, I would highly recommend Susan’s lovely home for anyone wishing to explore Taunton & the surrounding area. The house is beautifully kept with lovely character features. It is so spacious inside & very generously fitted out with delightful period furniture & a well-equipped kitchen. The small challenge of on-road parking turned out not to be an issue as we easily found spaces in the streets close by. I would highly recommend Sidwick House
