We really enjoyed our stay at Waihi beach, a beautiful well appointed home. Super central location close to shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed some cold drinks in the evening on the deck. And the kids enjoyed riding their bikes and scooters on the concrete driveway. Check in and out was super easy. Graeme and Judith were great at communicating with us throughout. Would absolutely stay again.

Great stay at Rose and Wal's and such lovely hosts to deal with. We appreciated the Welcome note and cold water on arrival. Accommodation is larger than the photos, had everything we needed and was handy having the breakfast items. Hosts live upstairs as described, but house is large and very sound proof - we could not hear anything. Has own private entrance, large deck area and pool. Matua is a lovely suburb and we enjoyed our neighborhood walks - the coastal walk is just a skip and jump away. Thanks Rose & Wal, it was lovely to meet you.

We had a great short stay! Kids loved the toys, trampoline, and kayaks! House was clean and comfortable and matched the pictures. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the farm tour! The airbnb was spotless and we could tell there was a great attention to detail from the hosts in setting the place up. Graham was very helpful and responsive in all of our communications and gave us some good recommendations for the area. Would definitely stay again.

My family stayed here at the last minute when our other accommodation fell through and we were absolutely blown away! A beautiful home with beautiful surroundings. So peaceful and awesome waking up with cows around you! Felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Wendy was a superstar host with fresh milk and a fully stocked cupboard and freezer for us for a continental breakfast. We felt very spoiled and well looked after by Wendy. Never been happier to have our accomodation fall through - can’t wait to stay again soon!

Quite big house close to Roturua. Good equipped with everything you needed. The beds in the two bed rooms were very comfortable. A good place to discover Roturua and souroundings. Nathan and his wife had good tips for the region and surprised us with a lovely welcome surprise. Would definitely book again, highly recommend.

This place was beautiful! It was spacious and very well laid out, with a great kitchen, outdoor area, super comfy bed and it was also surrounded by a beautiful orchard. There's a paddock next door where there's friendly horses too. The quality of this place makes it an absolute bargain. Can not speak highly enough of this beautiful BNB. Thank you to the owners 😊

Irene’s place was perfect, and she was great to deal with even with out last minute booking, Great value for money, pictures don’t do her place justice. Attention to detail with everything, even provides little snacks and even supplies stuff for a cheeky little breakfast, even a bottle of real milk! The little things make such a difference! Thank you to these kind and generous hosts, they both were so easy to talk with and so helpful. It was a perfect place to have a break at, I just wish that I could have stayed for longer. This is a beautifully laid out apartment, well decorated and very comfortable. Whilst in the centre of Mount Matanui and only one street back and a 3 min walk from the main shopping and restaurant street it was very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very friendly and the apartment had everything you would need. I have no hesitation in recommending this very highly.

Such a lovely stay. The rooms were perfectly clean, comfortable and stylish. The hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful. We enjoyed Michael's archery session and Mia's amazing breakfast. The freshly baked bread was fabulous. And the lovely dog Hunter showed me around their beautiful garden!! We had a great time and it is actually the most pleasant accommodation we have ever stayed at in NZ.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay in Kellie and Jon's clean guest wing at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Kellie and Jon are friendly helpful hosts and the complimentary bottles of beer and wine are a nice touch. Beach towels and boogie boards are also provided for guests use which is another extra friendly touch. We would happily stay again.

Linda's bnb was adorable. Very comfortable, clean, full of delightful little extras. Linda came over to have a chat and make sure everything was to our liking. She gave us a run down on the local area and further afield. A very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend

Perched high on a hill in Te Miro, this B&B run by Tony and Zani is an absolute gem. The panoramic views over Cambridge are breathtaking, and the attention to detail makes every moment feel special. From the private spa pool twinkling with fairy lights and serenaded by morepork calls, to the infinity pool with views that stretch forever, relaxation is effortless. Freshly baked croissants in the morning, chocolates on your pillow, luxurious linens, and a bath overlooking native bush — complete with candles and scented oils — add a touch of indulgence. Swooping kererū, drawn to the ancient Miro trees, bring life to the peaceful surroundings, while Woofie the dog adds a heartwarming touch. A truly tranquil escape where nature and luxury intertwine perfectly.

We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay and Ginie and Bob’s place. It really was originally a boat house, converted into a studio stand-alone apartment. A lot of thought went into making this small place suitable for guests. We adored all the breakfasts items Ginie provided for our three night stay. The banana bread and frittatas were standouts, but also lots of cereal, fruit, fresh dairy products and more. Outside, we enjoyed sitting by the lake after long days of exploring the area. So peaceful! Even duck food was provided for having fun with the ducks on the lake. There is a new spa that they welcome guests to enjoy. Our busy schedule didn’t permit us to take advantage of it, but I would prefer it to sitting in a sulfur-smelling spa in town. Ginie and Bob are genuinely kind and personable, if you have the opportunity to say hi.

Their place is a hidden gem! So glad we decided to stay here. They were so nice and friendly. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. I would highly recommend.

This place was heaven for us! David was a perfect host, super friendly and accommodating. I loved his tour of his extensive garden, and all the fresh produce he shared with us. The setting and the home is beautiful. I liked exploring the grounds and photographing the sheep. David was really helpful with travel recommendations.
