She went above & beyond to ensure our comfort, offering cake, fruits, milk & variety of breakfast cereals & also engaging in delightful conversation. Her kindness & genuine care made us feel less like a guest & more like a visiting friend. The location was also ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently accessible to local amenities. Whether relaxing in the cozy living spaces or enjoying the tranquility of surroundings, every moment felt special. Loved the house and location... views spectacular. great place for a large group... there were twelve of us and did not feel crowded. close to town and the markets. Better than we expected. Will recommend it to friends and family traveling to Whanganui.

myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

“A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views!” I had an amazing stay at this AirBnB! The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. The booking was accurate and not fussy in that you felt at home. Sharon was very proactive as soon as i made the booking and accomodating when i needed extra request because i had an event on. Thanks ill definitely be back!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Honor’s place — we were so lucky to find it and it answered everything that we needed. The house was immaculate and beautiful settled in a wonderful garden and less than a minute to the river and we couldn’t have had a nicer time with the perfect hosts.

très bon séjour même pour une nuitée. la maison est très très bien équipée et tout a été pensé pour que l'on ne manque de rien, tant dans la cuisine que dans les salles de bains ou les chambres très confortable , calme mignon et joliment décoré c'est le logement le mieux équipé de notre séjour ! Merci beaucoup allez y les yeux fermés !

What a great stay. Peaceful countryside surroundings, comfortable private space, a bush walk that Frances and Gerry have created themselves, and of course the Sauna. Very relaxing one night stay on my way through. Thank you as well for going above and beyond to make the experience so awesome. Would truly recommend this stay to anyone who is eyeing it up.

The place was convenient, clean and private. Had all the amenities needed for a short stay. The host(s) were very considerate and baked us a fresh loaf of bread along with a fully functional kitchen. Highly recommend for couples needing privacy and serene environment.

Alison and Ron were so kind and friendly. The space was very comfortable, especially the beds. Nice little bathrooms attached to each room as well!

The Station House is wonderful base for a break away in Whanganui. A beautiful historic building that has been lovingly restored. Warm, comfy & in a handy location close to all you need. Brian is a wonderful host. Thank you, will definitely stay again next time I need to be in Whanganui !

I stayed at the Gumnut B&B for just two nights on a road trip through Whanganui. The guest space is large enough to be an apartment because there is a lounge and dining room as well as a bedroom and dedicated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and generous. I spent my first afternoon on the porch enjoying the cool breeze and pleasant weather with views of the garden. The neighborhood is quiet at night and felt safe. I walked into downtown to explore Whanganui. Maryann and Barry were friendly hosts and Maryann stopped to chat with me when she had time. I recommend staying at the Gumnut B&B and I would gladly stay again.

Barb and Mike are amazing hosts and we had a lovely and comfortable stay at Tongariro Adventures. The national park is only a short drive away. The waterfront is a few steps away and there are amazing trails around the area. Barb and Mike’s place exceeded our expectations and their hospitality made us feel very welcome. Also, top marks for the amazing breakfast!!

Perfect stay in impeccable accomodation, Tony was very welcoming and his house is perfect and functional with good facilities. Tony offered us an amazing breakfast and prepared scrambled eggs for us, thank you again for this welcome. I recommend Tony's accomodation.

Absolutely lovely B&B after the Timber Trail. Many of the timber trail guides up in Ongarue seem to live in the area and are therefore happy to give a ride. The room was clean, comfortable, and nice artifacts and decor around the house, which feels like a French manor. (Also 3 friendly cats and a dog, and breakfast waiting for us downstairs in the morning.)

Martin n'a pas pu nous accueillir lui-même, mais il nous a laissé des instructions très claires et nous a fait confiance. Nous avons pu choisir notre chambre, celle - ci était spacieuse avec un accès sur une très belle terrasse. Le coffre au pied du lit et les lampes de chevet sont du plus bel effet. Enfin, le libre accès à la cuisine est vraiment appréciable. Nous recommandons ce B&B.
