Great place, nice guy, very cozy and friendly little guest house. Perfect place to stay for the weekend and venture around Taupō. Craig was very nice and welcoming, felt right at home.

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle and Stu's cottage on their beautiful, expansive farm. Stu took us on an amazing 1.5-hour ATV tour around the property, showcasing the stunning surroundings. The environment is truly breathtaking. The cottage itself is great, with everything you need. The pool is a lot of fun, and the spa/hot tub by the house is a fantastic addition that we thoroughly enjoyed. Michelle was very hospitable, bringing us fresh eggs and having a lovely chat with us, which made us feel very welcome. It's worth noting that the cottage is quite old and off-the-grid in terms of TV and internet, so don't expect a modern apartment with all the latest amenities. However, it's a perfect place to truly get away from it all and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Overall, it's a beautiful place to escape and unwind, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature.

I cannot rave enough about Tess and her beautiful home! The place was peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and made us feel like "aaaaaaahhhh" when we walked in. Tess' welcoming messaging, and her nearly immediate response to our questions made us feel really welcomed and cared for. It was among the most memorable of our stays while traveling in New Zealand, and we hope we will be lucky enough to find our way back here one day!

Fantastic location and an amazing host. Jess’s beautiful house is nestled in a small cluster of houses surrounding a little lake. We were fortunate that weather played a good part adding to the joy of visiting the Skywaka and walks around the town . Jess was very helpful and prompt as a host . It’s going to be a certain repeat in winters😊

A great place to rest after hiking the Tongariro Crossing. The stove was much better than the photos, and the apartment was clean. We stayed 2 nights here and would recommend to anyone doing the hike!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort! Die Lage ist perfekt, um Wanderungen im Nationalpark zu unternehmen. Der Whirlpool bietet danach auch die perfekte Möglichkeit zu entspannen. Er war sehr sauber und privat gelegen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und auch in der Küche gibt es alles was man braucht (z.B. eine Kochplatte und einen kleinen Ofen). Insgesamt nur zu empfehlen!
