A brand-new house, has everything to live comfortably and prepare meals. The office deck was great to use as a base for work. We would stay again if we could.

My two colleagues have expressed their gratitude after enjoying this beautiful home away from home during their time in Whangārei for work. I popped in to see the place myself and it is stunning. This is by far the best place my husband and I have stayed ! Anneke has an amazing eye for style the studio is designed to perfection ! It is beautiful - peaceful and comfortable ! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, it was exactly what we needed ! The view is 'out of this world' to watch and hear the waves crashing is sooo nourishing for the soul - everyday is soo different - different colours and sounds - we loved making a cup of tea and sitting and making the most of the environment ! Some days we didn't leave the studio as it's so restful ! Anneke is very a kind considerate host and i would highly recommend this accommodation - my husband and I are hoping to come back soon ! Hayley had great communication and was pleasant to deal with. I loved the location and how peaceful it was and to top it off I did not have to leave for food as Hayley had already provided a selection of snacks with great selection of drinks suffice enough (sweets, savoury, biscuits, breakfast, juice) and would be one of the best stocled pantrys ive seen in all of the accommodation I have stayed. Simple and elegant.

Lovely place to stay and relax. The apartment was well resourced and done up to a high standard. The views of the marina are amazing and a short walk from the beach too. Would highly recommend.

Loved staying at Liz’s place! Comfortable beds! Wow they were comfortable! The outside deck made you feel like you were in a tiny oasis. 4 min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches! Would definitely recommend staying! Liz even let us barrow two bikes for our young children. Thank you Liz!

Lisa & Antony were really lovely and welcoming. Thank you for the beach and hiking tips! The accommodation was quaint, and had a certain romance to it. It was easy to find, clean and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Lisa and Anthony. They are very welcoming and their place has a great, homely feel. The surrounding nature is very relaxing and is close to Waipu. Mangawhai is a short 15 minute drive. The accommodation was also well priced. We would recommend staying here if you are looking for that traditional homestead feel with welcoming hosts.

We stayed with Al and Murray for 5 nights and they were just absolutely lovely. We were not there as tourists but to sort out a personal storage unit after losing our sailing boat in the pandemic. Al and Murray provided a home from home for us during this difficult week. The spa is fabulous and extremely relaxing. The pool is spotless. The room is comfy, spacious and airy and the bathroom / shower huge, pristine and well-appointed. We could use the kitchen as needed and the breakfast was excellent. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. Thank you and we hope to see you in Europe one day.

Wij hadden een fantastisch verblijf in de lodge van Victoria and Damian! Na een aantal weken in een campervan te hebben gereisd waren we toe aan rust, een fijn bed en comfort. Dit vonden we allemaal in deze lodge. Fijne faciliteiten, alles ziet er superschoon en mooi ingericht uit, en het is een hele rustige omgeving met een mooi uitzicht. Ontzettend bedankt Victoria en Damian!

The house directly feels like home and has a great kitchen that you can use for cooking in the evening. Breakfast is included and includes both bread with spreads, as well as yoghurt, granola, cookies, fresh fruits, coffee and tea. Victoria was very responsive and nice.

Great stay. Super peaceful and relaxing. Very quiet area, was easy to find and lovely hosts. Good amenities for what we needed and a couple of local places to explore for dinner :) thanks for a great stay, would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay! I was taking the Pouto boat the next day, the location is perfect. Very comfy bed, nice shower, great breakfast (Chris accommodated my early breakfast request), cute puppies! Roxanne was responsive to my messages and Chris was always helpful during my stay. Thank you both!
