Our sailing team of students and adults stayed at this beach house. Everything was as we expected and everyone enjoyed their stay! Thanks for always being so resposive and communictaive. Much appreciated! We would highly recommend this beach house!

This place is an absolute gem. We have stayed in numerous spots across New Zealand (and the world) and this place stands out for its views and surroundings. The home itself is modern and super functional, tons of natural light and open air with the sliding glass walls. The views are unobstructed and amazing. Rooms are bright and beautiful, and the kitchen views are unbeatable. Lots of serving ware for group dinners. From sunrise to sunset, right on the ocean with a walk down to the beach. The evenings around the fire are magic too. Close to Tutukaka and Matapouri and shops for what you need. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

We stayed for 4 nights and wished we had stayed longer. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful surrounded by bushland. Daniel and Denise were super friendly. We had the most enjoyable time and would highly recommend this accommodation to family and friends. We hope to visit again sometime.

Very comfortable little place with a ton of nice little touches like artwork, good appliances, comfortable outdoor seating. Very close to the beach and the estuary. Even if you aren't a dog person, the dogs are so well behaved and quiet, they occasionally will visit you and you can give them a pat if you like.

This quiet peaceful house with it’s wrap around deck and view of the ocean is wonderful. It has an incredible theater room that is separate from the home (just steps across the deck). The separate washer and dryer are a real bonus. We loved having access to the boogie boards. The surf at Waipu Cove is excellent. Kitchen has everything necessary to cook. Wake up from a great nights sleep to a beautiful sunrise!

We stayed in Michael's Cabin for 3 nights, unfortunately perfectly in time for an orange weather warning. We weren't able to do as much as we had hoped, but we can confirm the cabin is very sturdy and does not budge in even the strongest gales 😋 The cabin has everything you need and there is an outside cabin for bathroom and toilet. It's directly at the beach and the views from the cabin are really beautiful. Mike and Mark were great hosts and very generous. And if course Buddy the dog was a highlight of our stay.

Bless Anthony, who braved Cyclone Tam to help us with our suitcases when we arrived after a treacherous trip up! The place was beautiful and homely, the perfect place to spend a storm, nice and warm! The beds were super comfortable and not having wifi was actually lovely! Diane kindly offered us to stay another night on account of the weather, but unfortunately we had an event to attend, however I will definitely be back to enjoy this little piece of paradise again!

We had a fantastic stay at Lisa’s place. She really thought of everything when it came to amenities, and there were lots of lovely little touches. The place was great, especially the deck with the fireplace where we spent our evenings. Definitely recommend!
