If we could give Donna and Ken a 10 we would! They went out of their way to make two travelers feel so welcomed and so at home. We would be delighted to stay here again and highly recommend Donna and Ken’s home to future travelers.

We loved the unique venue. Great decor and very well thought out as to what was needed for your stay. The traffic noise is loud from the passing cars but we had expected this due to the other reviews. But a delightful weekend away with great things to do locally.

A lovely, roomy, private place. Angela’s communications were excellent - with speedy replies being especially notable. The kitchen is little but don’t let this fool you, it had everything we needed for a weekend at the beach. Highly recommend this place for a weekend near the beach with views of the sea and a considerate communicative host.

Wendy was welcoming and great at communicating. The place was exactly as described and perfect for my daughter and me for our two-night stay—comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic location. Just across from stunning Ngunguru Bay and only a few steps from the local dairy, it couldn’t have been more convenient. Wendy was also incredibly accommodating, which we really appreciated!

This house is beautifully situated right on the water - at high tide the water reaches the wall. The house is beautifully decorated and feels very homey. With a log fire, a separate granny flat and 3 other good sized bedrooms, we loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend.

Occasionally you are fortunate to get a really, really good host with airbnb. This was one of those occasions. Communication was prompt. The listing was as described (if not better in real life) The place was spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed and the beds and bed linen were hotel standard. McLeod Bay is stunning and having the cafe and fish and chip shop just down the hill was a blessing. I would come back in a heartbeat, and probably will. Thanks again Elaine and Andy

Great location and very comfortable stay. The house is in excellent condition, much better than the pictures. Beautiful outdoor deck to relax in the sun. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Francine’s house is located at a quiet residential area,five minutes drive to restaurants and shops. the rooms and bathrooms are specious, the deck is overlooking at a beautiful view of the forests very relaxing.Thank you Francie for your prompt response and the late check out. Francie we had a good time at your home however the stairs at the entry were challenging for my husband as he had difficulty going up and down the stairs, not suitable for people with disabilities. I should have checked that out .Highly recommend if the stairs are not an issue.

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

Great place with perky amenities like the Nespresso machine and large TV! Central location but can be a bit noisy for someone sensitive as right next to the main street. Overall we really enjoyed!
