Luxury living, total privacy, and spectacular views. Great location, close enough to the town center and not too far from Lang's Beach and Waipu.

A lovely, roomy, private place. Angela’s communications were excellent - with speedy replies being especially notable. The kitchen is little but don’t let this fool you, it had everything we needed for a weekend at the beach. Highly recommend this place for a weekend near the beach with views of the sea and a considerate communicative host.

A lovely space, large room with two skylights. Within walking distance of everything, very central location. Very good value also.

comfortable place, good for a few days. Very easy walking access to town, lots of restaurants and shops to choose from. Elizabeth is very helpful, friendly and chatty, with lots of recommendations. Highly recommended.

Lovely place. We slept well in the incredibly comfy beds & loved sitting out on the deck in the bush in the evening & morning. Incredible views & beautiful nature sounds. Great to be so close to Waipu & Lang’s beach & highly recommend the coastal walk between the two, and The Cove for drinks & food afterwards.

Hayley had great communication and was pleasant to deal with. I loved the location and how peaceful it was and to top it off I did not have to leave for food as Hayley had already provided a selection of snacks with great selection of drinks suffice enough (sweets, savoury, biscuits, breakfast, juice) and would be one of the best stocled pantrys ive seen in all of the accommodation I have stayed. Simple and elegant.

Lovely apartment in great location. Part of owners’s home but felt very private and quiet. Beautifully presented, well equipped kitchenette, very comfortable bed and best shower we have had on our travels. Less than five minutes walk to pub where you can get a good meal. Added bonus to have use of kayaks. We didn’t meet Phil but Sheena was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Cosy, intimate and yet very functional. Difficult (if not impossible) to find an Airbnb more charming. Appreciated your books about the NZ nature in your glass cabinet. Thanks for having us, Kit and Keld

We loved our stay at Ocean Beach. My little one loved playing with Gaelyn and Scott’s kids. They were all friendly and I think we will choose this way to stay from here on out. Thanks guys

Truly excellent stay, Ian and Sue were lovely and the apartment so comfy and clean. We can’t wait to stay there again. Definitely do not miss the sunrise and the hidden beach!

This place was beautiful in the picture, but even more beautiful in reality. We chose this place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we are very pleased. We enjoyed a three-course dinner prepared by ourselves with a breathtaking view in the background. We didn't even think about going to a restaurant, because no restaurant offers such a milieu. The nice pool and jacuzzi in the common area added even more value. Every moment was worth staying there and the price-quality ratio is perfectly balanced. The staff was very pleasant as well. Thank you very much for playing an important role in our important day!

We and our two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ian and Sue’s. The stunning view is to die for. Quick access to beach was amazing. Although a motel, it offers very good privacy. Very family and kids friendly. Ian and Sue are quick to communicate and Ian was very welcoming when we arrived. To top it, the place was squeaky clean and adequately equipped. We will definitely be back.
