Beautiful barn style, accommodates three families easily all with their own bathroom! The line is very luxurious and beds comfy Communication was quick and efficient at very late notice. The place did have a few cobwebs and dust from the road but I think that comes hand and hand with being out in the countryside. Stunning garden outlook to sit and have your morning coffee. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other families or larger groups with all amenities supplied and a short drive to Te Arai beach. Thank you!

Great little stay at the sleep out. Erika was very responsive to our questions. Kids loved being so close to the playground! Perfect for a little adventure.

Unfortunately a cyclone rolled through while I was staying at Vicki‘s place. I got to walk around the first day that I was there and enjoyed the house for an evening, but the power went out so I had to cut my stay short. When I woke up, Vicki had left pancakes and hot water for me to make coffee. She also gave me a refund for my second night. She had gone above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances.

We loved our stay with Kathy and Bryon! The place was lovely, so clean and comfortable and they thought of everything! We especially appreciated the stocked pantry and fridge essentials. The area is beautiful. The beach is so close by and the town was a close drive away. We came with plans to go to the beach, hike, adventure etc but cyclone Tam had other plans. So we instead had the coziest, relaxing time while we hunkered down waiting for the rains and wind to pass. It was honestly just what we needed. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lorna's bach is a true little gem in a hidden paradise, just a few minutes from the beach, quite spacious, modern apartment with own terrace. it's possible to use the SUP board and paddle over to the beautiful sandspit - a highlight in itself! Lorna is an amazing host, so kind, caring and helpful! Best accommodation i have stayed at in NZ. Highly recommended!

Great, knowledgeable host. pointed us int he right directions for great fishing locations, which was what we were there to do and has the best view. I could almost launch the boat from the deck. A+++

Dog friendly Great spot! So peaceful and quiet. Small beach out front that my pup loved exploring. The room is simple with all basic needs. Very much enjoyed our stay

Joan’s place was even more beautiful than described - the location is peaceful, quiet, surrounded by beautiful plants & trees but easy to find & not far from a multitude of beaches & walks. The cottage was pristine - comfortable bed & pillows, great shower, places & hangers for clothes & a television that works with no hassle!! Joan has thought of everything you could possibly need- even down to some welcome drinks in the fridge. I would love to return.

We were looking for a stop over somewhere between stops that would cut the distance having to drive on any particular day. The Nest was perfect, set just off SH1 north of Auckland it was an ideal stop over. There is as much or as little to do locally and some great options to eat out or as we did dined sat on the balcony taking in the wonderful view and waiting for the odd fleeting visit from a Fantail or two. It was such a relaxing space and we were blessed with a clear night so stargazing was a real treat. This is a wonderful location to recharge batteries and chill !

Very nice and comfortable studio. Only disappointments were weak wifi and the washing machine was not working.

Awesome weekend away! Neil came and met us as we arrived in the rain to make sure we could find our way to the accomodation and had everything we needed. Throughout the stay Ali and Neil went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Tandem kayak was fun to take out at high tide, views were beautiful from the windows in the morning and the short walk down to the local tavern for dinner by the sea was perfect! Thanks again for the surprise 😂. Such a cool spot with heaps to explore and do day trips around Whangarei heads. 100% would recommend!

Accommodation was very nice, great amount of space, lovely patio area and big backyard. our daughter enjoyed playing with Lindsay and Paul's dog as well as the swingball and soccer ball. We brought our puppy with us who also enjoyed her stay. Lindsay and Paul were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would recommend this place.

Very peaceful accomodation. Private, surrounded by nature with beatiful views. Clean, fresh facilities. Very good commincation with host. Highly recommended stay! Close to Matapouri, Whale Bay, Whangarei, Tutukaka, Sandy Bay and so on 🙂

If you looking for a cosy, clean and creative cottage that feels like home, Quail cottage is just the best. Lovely neighbourhood: quiet, flat, great for bike riding, easy 5 mim walk to estuary and quick drive into town and beach. lovely home: lots of interesting pieces, books, games, beautiful garden and tramp. Beds are super comfy with lovely crisp, cotton linen and couches huge and just delish to lounge around on. Kitchenette is small but practical and great bathroom with a huge shower perfect for post beach cleaning. Honor was incredible from check in to check out. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We had a great time staying in the Annex for a weekend. The place is tidy, well furnished and quiet. Eileen was incredibly helpful and nice with us. I will definitely try to come back next I go diving in the area.

This was our second stay. Our previous stay was about 3 months ago. Would definitely stay here again. Denise and Craig are wonderful friendly people and the home is quite comfortable, peaceful and quiet. My husband visited the sheep every morning and evening. We looked for the rabbits every time we drove the driveway and evening saw them in the backyard a few times.

Tania and Steve’s home is absolutely amazing! No wonder it’s a guest favorite! It has everything you could possibly need, plus a hot spa, a large grassy backyard, and beautiful fruit trees—apples, bananas, grapes, and persimmons. There’s even a small pond with water lilies, making it feel like a dream come true. Our room was beautifully decorated and cozy, and they even gifted us a delicious sourdough bread—it was incredible! You can truly feel their great taste and love for life in every detail of the house. And just a side note: while the Airbnb photos already look stunning, the actual place is even better! Thank you so much, Tania and Steve!

It was awesome place to stay. Host also very friendly . Must try hot tub it was great experience also location of hot tub I really like it. We can access to every fresh fruit plant and eat direct from it. Thanks elaine When i came there definitely i stay there.

What a wonderful stay we have just had, I wish we could give it 6 out of 5. We had such a friendly welcome and were made to feel right at home. Andrea and Sherman have thought of everything you might need in a home away from home, even going above and beyond letting us clean our dirty side by side after our trail ride. The home is so warm and cosy, clean and super peaceful and quiet. We can't rate them highly enough and will be back!
