This Eastsound home on Cascade Bay, adjacent to Rosario Resort, is a perfect San Juan Island getaway. Despite the resort's proximity, it's extremely quiet and private. The view of the bay and marina from the deck is wonderful, offering a picturesque backdrop. The home is comfortable, spacious yet cozy, and well-appointed with thoughtful details. The bathrooms are stocked with soaps and lotions, and the kitchen is fully equipped with herbs, spices, and cooking oils. High-quality linens, including towels, sheets, and comforters, add a touch of luxury. The location is ideal for walks and hikes, with Moran State Park nearby. We enjoyed hiking around the beautiful Cascade Lake. A minor downside was the 4 pm check-in and the lack of response to our request for an earlier check-in. However, the 10 am checkout was convenient for our ferry schedule. Travel Tip: Plan your trip to Orcas Island in advance. Secure ferry reservations through the Washington State Dept of Transportation website

Bec was a great host. Myself and some friends were travelling to Bellingham for the weekend and wanted a relaxing spot. The place was perfect

its a nice cottage with a decent view clean and compfy in a quiet area not far away from some of the islands most beautiful places

It was lovely to wake up to beautiful views that only the San Juan islands can offer. We spent our 25th anniversary here and couldn’t have asked for a better place!

We went for a weekend getaway for my birthday and did not want to leave! Such a cute little cottage, exactly as advertised. The beach area was lovely to sit and watch the wildlife, and take walks and we found some beautiful pebbles and shells. I loved that it also had a yard area with a picnic table and could see having a beautiful meal out there in warmer weather. We arrived earlier than expected but the host allowed us to check in early so we could get settled, and the bed was a very comfortable respite after long days of travel/ exploring the island. We will definitely be staying again someday!

My son loved his stay! At the last minute, I was unable to join, but my son and his girlfriend said the location was stunning, cabin was beautiful, and overall experience was excellent. I wish I could have made it but we’ll try again in the future. The staff was so great to communicate with. A++ all around!!

What a wonderful spot to have a weekend getaway. The house was perfect,a cozy fireplace,big kitchen for cooking and an incredible view. The grounds are also wonderful. Right on the water with a private area for each cabin. We’d love to come visit again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in Lydia's cabin. Fantastic location, comfortable, clean, cute and cozy. The cabin was just the right size for a romantic getaway and was well-stocked with thoughtful touches throughout. Very close to town, yet private. Very quiet. We had a restful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

First, THANK YOU for being pet friendly! My sister, me and my two pups just loved this space. It’s quiet. No unnecessary frills but includes everything you need. Some days we walked the pups around town then enjoyed being able to come back and just spend time. I’d stay here again anytime.

Fantastic stay in Eastsound. Lydia’s place has an amazing location close to all amenities yet away from noise. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved that our dog Neve was able to join. Lydia was also kind to let us visit her farm on the other side of the island. Our girls had a blast with the goats, pigs, chickens and organic garden. Thank you Lydia!

We stayed here for a week in early September. The weather was nice and the views from the back porch, fire pit, and bedroom with the king bed are gorgeous. You can see the water and boats go by. Deer visited the property regularly. Right down the road were some goats and cows, which were fun to visit when we walked our dog. Occasionally, you can hear the small planes take off from the airport close by. The property is a short drive (about five minutes) from the grocery store in Eastsound. Mount Constitution is about a 30-minute drive and the ferry terminal is about 20 minutes away from the property. The home is spacious enough for four adults to feel like they have some privacy. The kitchen is large, though it could be stocked a bit better with storage containers for leftovers. The dining area is a bit small for large families. The table only seats about four adults comfortably. When we were there, there was also a picnic table outside. The beds are comfortable enough. I would recommend North Beach Inn to friends and family looking for a comfortable stay that has quick access to a beach to walk and play. The proximity to Eastsound and other sites such as mini golf, the state park, and Outer Island Excursions is a plus.

Love this place and especially love Funnyman’s cabin. My husband and I brought our little brown labradoodle and my 87 year old Mom and her husband joined us - us youngsters rode mtn bike during morning came back to cozy cabin and played games with Mom and Dad. Our Doodle loved the coziness as well - the view from the cabin were breathtaking and we appreciated the doggy towels and couch cover. Our favorite thing were the campfires we had on the beach every night - hamburgers, salmon, hotdogs and s’mores! We were there end of March so it was not warm outside, but that did t matter to us! Beach walking also fantastic!

Great place - the beach was just a few steps away. Great views of Sucia, Pateos and the Gulf Islands. The host provides you with wood for a beach fire! We loved having cows in our backyard.

This spot was so pretty! I had family joining from out of town and even though it rained every day we were all so happy! One day we even stayed in and played board games all day. The house is so cute and cozy and the view of the bay is stunning. We don’t want to leave!! The stairs down to the water are magical and we could walk along the beach right from the back yard! 😍 We loved this place so much and would absolutely recommend it. They even had beach towels and games for us to use.

Our stay at North Beach Inn was the perfect long weekend getaway. The location is peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in the Georgia cabin which was cozy and really well decorated. The cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable. We spent hours sitting on the beach watching for wildlife and enjoying the view. Other guests were friendly and quiet. The office staff were welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed how close the property was to the town of Eastsound while still feeling remote.

Very nice older home. Bed was comfortable and heating was great given it was chilly outside. It has a fireplace but wasn’t there enough to warrant starting one. Easy to check in and out. Would recommend to anyone.
