It's my second time staying at this property. Never disappointed. The location is beautiful and isolated, the house instead of perfectly for gathering of close friends and family, and the scenery and atmosphere of the location are unmatched. Also can't forget, Stan is an amazing host.

The photos don’t do this spot justice! I came for the Sand Hill Cranes festival and this was perfectly positioned to downtown Monte Vista. The views are incredible and the Airbnb is even bigger than it looks. Even though it’s a studio, the layout was so well done that it feels like a one bedroom. Eve was an excellent communicator and was even out there shoveling the stairs early in the morning! I would 100% stay here again, 10/10!! Extra towels were provided for the hot springs + sand dunes which I thought was a thoughtful touch!

Thank you again for EVERYTHING. You have no idea how much this meant to us and how much we hate leaving. You can feel the thoughtfulness and positive energy in everything and it was the perfect escape. Great atmosphere and fun times with the dogs and horses the entire weekend. And wonderful hospitality during the entire trip. This is worth many trips in the future back to your place. Everyone needs to come stay with you both!

We had a wonderful experience here! We were so grateful to find a nice home that allowed us to bring our dogs (they are our travel companions!). The beds were amazingly comfortable and that upgraded bathroom was wonderful! It worked well for my husband and me, our 16 year old daughter. She originally had a friend who was planning on coming with us, and the loft area would have been perfect for 2-3 kids! It was great to be able to cook out and just relax at 'home' in the evenings!!

Beautiful and peaceful cottage, super comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend trip! Great location for visiting the sand dunes, silver thread trail, and wolf creek. Kitchen fully stocked, we cook all our own meals and had everything we needed. Host family was lovely and super responsive!

I stayed for over 20 days and I felt at home from the moment I walked in the front door. Everything was absolutely perfect and spotless. I enjoyed the ability to hunt and fish along with great golfing in the clubhouse was absolutely wonderful. Perfect would be the word to describe this place and the hosts. Thank you guys. We enjoyed our stay here for the weekend! The location was terrific, right on the river, and it was very beautiful and peaceful! The pictures don't do justice. It was perfect for the two of us, and our dog loved it! Check-in was a breeze and Lee was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

What can I say! This was probably 1 of the best and nicest AirBnb's that I have ever stayed in. Karla did a great job of staying in touch and was very accessible. Everything in the home was set up so well that I never had to contact her for anything. The facility was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with any cooking utensils that one might need. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. I usually have to take extra washcloths with me at other places but not here. I was amazed. Checkout instructions were very clear and definitely not burdensome. I cannot say enough about how well I enjoyed staying in this facility. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering a stay in South Fork Colorado. It is a beautiful place. I will definitely want to try to stay in this place the next time I come to South Fork.
