Maple cottage fitted our needs perfectly and Caroline and her associates were very friendly and helpful with any requests we made. The hot tub was a welcome relaxation bonus!

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

Very happy to have stayed at Dawns fabulous Rambling Rose cottage. The place was spotless and very homely feel we relaxed the minute we stepped through the doors. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and relax either in the fabulous hot tub or a cosy night in front of the log burner. Thanks Dawn for providing such a wonderful place to unwind.

What a place and what a host! Feels like we’ve found a gem. The location is simply stunning and so peaceful! The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a real treat and the views - just wow! If you are looking for a retreat close to all the highlights of the cost - this is the place. Steve is an absolute super star. The kids loved him and he couldn’t do enough for us - filling the fridge with goodies, lending the kids fossil hammers and just being so helpful. The kids loved feeding the animals and getting to know the two dogs. They were in tears when we had to leave. We will be back and have left feeling so rested, relaxed and happy! As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

Beautiful place to stay! Perfect location, nice and private and easy to find. Easy to get to York and Harrogate with local recommendations provided. The cottage was pristine with a lovely kitchen, sitting area and garden. Hot tub was perfect with robes, plastic glasses and spare towels provided.

We booked rather last minute and Maria was very responsive and flexible. The place was pristine and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings throughout are great! We felt very much at home! Maria was warm and welcoming and gave us good ideas for where to eat. We truly loved our stay!

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

An amazing house with so much character and charm. It was perfect for 6 kids (5-11years) and 5 adults. Plenty of space to sleep, eat and socialise. 5* review! Would definitely recommend to any large family or group! Was perfect! Thank you Photographer’s House! X

We had a great weekend at Sunnyside Barn. It has everything you need for a relaxing break away. Cosy, warm, clean and in a quiet village with a large, private back garden. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire coast. Lisa had provided extra little touches e.g. chocolates & a bottle of Prosecco which were very welcome. Lisa also recommended some great places to visit & the Seabirds restaurant in Flamborough was a great recommendation.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, well appointed and easily coped with our family and the variety of ages. The outdoor area was well kept and had a large table and chairs suitable for outdoor eating and had the added attraction as a lovely suntrap. Having bathrooms on every floor was very convenient. A lovely house to use as a base when exploring the neighbouring seaside resorts and countryside.

This is a real gem of a place situated in the most beautiful surroundings . Fantastic walking straight from your door, bird song galore and so much more . Trish is a wonderful host , very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble . We were greeted with delicious homemade cake , fresh flowers and a basket of treats . I would highly recommend Trish's beautiful home and really hope to be back again one day so much more to explore . Thank you Trish for a wonderful time . Emma

We had a wonderful few days at Justine’s house. Lovely house and amazing garden and minutes from the beach! Runswick bay and the beach area were fabulous. Brilliant for kids and everything you’d wish for on a beach holiday! We will definitely be back! Thanks 👍🏻

Thanks so much - my parents really enjoyed the cottage - we were staying on a different cottage on The Bay and booked them this one. They said it was their favourite one so far (I think their 3rd visit to The Bay now). Loved the beach walks and a joy to be in Filey again.

A spotless cottage which had everything we needed. Beautifully decorated. It is obvious that the hosts are thoughtful and experienced.

Everything was just as described, Heather kept us informed regularly and responded quickly to our requests. Collie Cottage was perfect for our family and our daughter and grandson enjoyed the leisure complex and walked onto the beach. Heather recommended a Chinese restaurant in Filey which was excellent and great value. We have stayed at many cottages over the years and Collie Cottage is one of the best. The cottage is a credit to Heather and Fred and we would have no reservations in recommending it to anyone.

Lovely property, great for exploring beautiful Yorkshire. Victoria was an extremely proactive host, checking that we arrived safely and flexible on check in and check out. The cottage was very comfortable with excellent facilities, would highly recommend the property and the host.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

We had a very enjoyable short (post New Year) 3 night stay. The only problem being an issue with bedroom tv system. Amy tried to get this resolved promptly and it wasn't a real priority for us. Other than that, everything was fine. She always responded promptly to any queries and was able to allow some flexibility regarding check-in/departure times, which was appreciated.

We had a great stay at the cottage. All of the rooms are just like the photos. It was really clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is really well looked after. Just a short walk to the beach, then you can be in Filey in 40 minutes. It was really peaceful and the area offers a tennis court, swimming pool and other activities. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous home away from home and lovely base for the beach and swimming. Very peaceful setting. We all loved it and would definitely come back again
