I give them 5 stars all the way even though we never get a chance to stay at their place. We didn’t know that we had to take a boat to get there so I had to cancel it because I was traveling with my disabled elderly parents. They were so kind to refund us 100% of our money. If I travel with different group of people, I would gladly stay in this place!! Thank you so much for understanding ❤️

Staying at Marty & Gerlyn’s has been absolutely fantastic. They are so attentive and give you all the help and tips you need. Gerlyn is a top talented cook that can cook you both lunch and dinner. It was so tasteful every time and had a good variety. Additionally, Marty is always very considerate about everything to make your stay the best for you, so your needs are met whoever you are. We enjoyed plenty beers in the famous Monkey Bar, Marty’s diy bar, while having great conversations, watching Australian football or having a tasteful barbecue. It’s a short walk to the beach for great snorkelling and we went on a couple of hikes with one of his local workers to some breathtaking places that you just don’t get anywhere else. We would definitely recommend staying there. We left with new friendships and only good vibes. So find your inner adventurer and go to Udalo to Marty and Gerlyn.

The absolute PERFECT spot for a family!! All the amenities you could ever want or need. Directly on a quiet beach just as nice as white beach. Anywhere else you want to go such as main town for shopping or groceries is only a 50 cent tricycle ride away. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise from the bedroom or patio everyday was breathtaking. Nestor is the best caretaker we have ever had and can recommend all the best spots to go, even transporting you himself. Pictures simply dont do this place justice as the landscaping is incredible. An oven for baking is VERY rare in Philippines and your own boat if you wish. Im really not sure why this place wouldn't be booked 365 days a year as anyone who books a hotel or other home is a simpleton :) Feel very lucky to have chosen this place and you should not hesitate in anyway at all. Id honestly rate it 11/10 and dare anyone to differ.

A lovely room attached to a great diving resort. The resort itself focuses heavily on diving, but the owner was incredible at facilitating activities both in and out of the resort and made everything as painless as possible. The hassle of COVID restrictions to enter Mindoro was 100% worth it to escape the reality of NCR.

This little oasis was beautiful filled with flowers, friendly staff and cute animals! The hut was well presented, exactly like the pictures and we loved being able to use the kitchenette which had all the equipment we needed. It was lovely being able to relax in the hammock in our own space or walk over to the cafe to chat to other guests and get some yummy food. The description “escape to nature” is definitely accurate as there were lots of bugs! Definitely not the hosts fault as everything was very clean - it is just open to nature! The hosts were extremely accommodating and even offered us an air conditioned apartment when it became available as the weather was so hot! The apartment was equally well presented and extremely comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would really recommend to anyone wanting to escape to nature :) Thank you once again

This is the third review of my visit. It was a really satisfying trip again. The amenities are even better than before. I really want to recommend this place to travelers from this area. I will definitely choose this place for my next trip as well.

DEFINITELY A RARE FIND!!! Kuya Greg was very accomodating in terms of our wellbeing. His place is well-kept and the scenery was breathtaking. The house is huge and can accomodate big groups. Everything you need from your house is available to use. His staff are very welcoming and friendly. Although we werent able to do a lot of activities that he recommended due to the weather, we were still able to enjoy our stay. If you are looking for a private place to celebrate an intimate moment or you just want to be in touch with the nature and the beach, this place is definitely the best option there is. Shoutout to all his staff, ate who helped us with everything from setting up the kitchen to making ourselves comfortable. And a very big shoutout to the amazing boat crew, kuya Allan and kuya Ramil are the best bangkeros out there. Literally saved our lives. Great place and great staff. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This is an architectural fantasy come to life with artefacts and knickknacks from all over the world. Be prepared for the unconventional & to climb a few steps exploring the spaces. It’s a good location if you have a vehicle. It’s a quiet area with a great ocean view up a steep hill yet close to a beach. Michel met me at the ferry dock and assisted me with motorbike rental and return transport which was very helpful. If you opt for meals, they are amazing, ample & affordable. They also provide drinking water. It’s as private as you want or join convos in common areas and kitchen. I appreciated the suggestions and anecdotes! All the rooms are unique & have their own perks & quirks. Some with A/C, some with wifi, and each has unique furnishings with comfy beds. It’s a place to relax and recharge more than a place to do desk work. A/C is good apart from a power brownout when the generator stopped at night. Pick a room with good airflow as synthetic sheets add to the heat without fans.

I quickly felt right at home. The staff were helpful and the Manager was close at hand to sort out any needs. My room, a studio, had everything I needed including a functional kitchenl that I used everyvday. My view from the balcony was across the strailt to Luzon. l went to sleep every night to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below my balcony.
