I had a great stay. The place is very easy to find and in a great location. Was very impressed with how clean and organized everything was. Would highly recommend staying at river romance.

We visit Helen often and look for rentals that are close to town, the river, and are comfortable… we hit the jackpot with Kendra’s River Suite for Two. The beautifully decorated room, gorgeous peaceful riverside seating and many owner thoughtful touches made our stay extra special! We will be back!

Great location: walkable to all of downtown and I felt safe being there with my kids. It is especially hospitable that there are K cups and creamers provided, as well as oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen. Lots of TV streaming options.

Before booking my stay I had a few questions, and Ashley was quick to answer and very helpful. The property was private, beautiful, and quiet. We were always only a few minutes from the Helen, and the restaurants and winery we visited. We enjoyed our stay!

Ashley was a great host. The place was very accommodating four our group of 6. It is close to the town center in a very quiet and walkable neighborhood. The entertainment room was very entertaining and the hot tub was very relaxing. Highly recommend staying at this house. Great value for all that you get.

The two cottages were perfect for our needs! Beautiful wooded area, updated decor and amenities! The two cottages are just aacross the road from each other. Ideal for our extended family!! Alison was very responsive and accommodating-absolutely loved our experience!!

We were so pleased with our decision to book this home especially after being in downtown Helen and seeing the hotels we considered. It is close to town but in a quiet neighborhood— peaceful and great area to walk the dog. The home is spacious- very comfortable living area and large bedrooms. The 2 baths were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed including 3 different coffee makers and popcorn! A very nice touch. There were plenty of blankets and throws for the cold weather and we loved the fireplace! So cozy! Maklen was super responsive and friendly, much more so than some of the other places I’ve stayed. We highly recommend Maklen and their home.

Great place to stay! Super cozy little cottage that has everything you need. The property is very nice too. Close to Helen and lots of parks/hikes in north GA. Brittany is super responsive and friendly as well. Would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay just a quick drive from Main Street in Helen. The accommodations were roomy, and we felt safe in the area. The beds were comfortable. The bones of the place are older, but we didn't run into any issues. For our group of three who planned on eating out, the tight kitchen was fine. For larger groups, consider bringing plastic eating utensils and disposable plates and gloves and kitchen amenities were sparse. There is a Dollar General nearby. Overall we felt that this place was a great value and a great location to do all that we wanted to do in nearby Helen and surrounding national parks. We would stay here again.

The views off the top floor balcony are stunning! A great view of the sunrise over the lake. The house is very large and spacious with all the amenities you would need for a long stay. Well stocked utensils and cookware in the kitchen. A great loft area that turned into our prime hangout spot. Patricia is very quick and responsive and the check-in/out was a breeze.

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

The stay was pleasant! Was worry at first that we wouldn’t be able to have a late checkout but Leonard, was super friendly & helpful. We were able to get the exact schedule we needed. The place was gorgeous, & super comfortable. My partner & i even mentioned wanting a home like this one. It’s a decor that catches your eye. Definitely staying again!

Really enjoyed our stay at Boyd's Nest. They had everything you need to feel like home away from home. The beds were very comfortable and the place was clean! We would love to stay again on future visits to town.
