What a great place to stay. Herdwicks was an amazing place to stay for our weekend family getaway. It had everything you could need! The pictures don’t do the place justice. Herdwicks felt much larger than the picture show. The bar, very well stocked kitchen and wood burning pizza oven was our highlight. Our whole family loved the experience and we would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Susan!

a little sea side cottage with fantastic sea views . you just have to cross the road to step into the sea shore. a small well kept cute cottage with ameneties, if you are someone who fancy star rated hotels this may not be for you. if you appreciate being in Nature and dont mind thr squeakyfloor noises of a typicsl cottage, go book it. don't miss to go gor a sunrise walk in sea shore.

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely little house for the four of us (kids 9 and 12). The estuary beach is seconds away and lots of fun to be had here (although keep an eye on the tide times). The best of the lake district is around 20 mins away in a car including Scafell. Greg was very helpful remotely. The car charger was great. We really enjoyed this mini break and will definitely be booking again. Thanks!

a gem of a place, the location was ideal for beach walks and exploring the lakes. utility room is perfect for sorting wet clothes and wetsuits post wild swimming. Cosy, comfortable and perfect for a group of 8 (4 adult and 4 children).

A beautiful apartment, ideal for our family of three to visit Morecambe Bay for a weekend. Very comfortable bed, clean and tidy throughout, lovely beach view. Easy to access and great communication from the hosts - there was a small problem with the TV and Alex was on hand to sort it immediately.

Had a fabulous weekend at Jo and Paddy’s! The lodge really felt like a home from home and truly had everything we could have needed. The lake views were stunning and the site was really peaceful. The hosts were really friendly and responsive and the place was spotless. Will definitely be returning!

Modern, spotlessly clean caravan. Loads of lovely touches, teddies, games, hair straighteners, iron, air fryer etc making it a home away from home. Nice big secure decking so we could let our dog out without worrying about him. Views are lovely around the caravan site and it’s a short drive to Morecambe. Had a nice relaxing weekend away.

Great experience staying at the caravan. Checking in was super easy as was checking out. Very clean, comfy and homely. Communication was fast and prompt. Really enjoyed my stay amd hope to return later on in the year. Thanks Phillip

Fantastic stay, a lovely spacious static. Stayed for 4 nights during New Year so was very cold and windy outside. Loved being inside, heating was very good. It’s exactly what you would want. Location is great and just 10 minute drive away from anything you may need or want to do. We will be back!!

One of the best bnb I stayed so far. Beautiful surroundings. Great view. Neat and clean. Walkable distance to the local stores and pubs. Chirs is so friendly and responsive. 💯 recommended to all who wish to have some good time with wonderful views.

Our stay at this quaint little home was nothing short of perfect. The sea view is absolutely breathtaking honestly, the photos online don’t do it justice. We were blown away the moment we arrived. The home itself is beautifully decorated with such thoughtful touches throughout, making it feel both cozy and stylish. It’s also fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. We had the best experience here and would not hesitate to book again in the future. Highly recommend!

Third time at Irena's place! Always a good stay. Spacious apartment with excellent facilities. My previous reviews have a lot more of detail. There are always a few new things, such as extra soft furnishings or an upgraded coffee machine. Irena clearly cares to keep making guests' stays great. Suffice to say I wholeheartedly recommend.

Lovely, spotless, brand new caravan. Steps from the water (beach and nature preserve) and 30 minutes into the Lake District make it a wonderful place to stay and explore Cumbria. The cabin was simply but tastefully decorated and comfortable for a family of four and our furry friend. It has all you need for a comfortable break, there are washer/dryer machines at the site and they worked great. We didn't try the local restaurant but heard good things. We had a wonderful time despite the darker evenings and cool days, we felt very cozy and comfortable after our days exploring. We were able to get most of what we needed in Millom (a mile away) and cooked most nights. The area has lots to do within an hours drive, you really are spoiled for choice. The cabin's wifi is spotty to stay the least but we were happy to "unplug" for a few days.

A great little caravan in a good spot for exploring The Lakes. Unfortunately we had a car disaster and had to check out early without doing much exploring, but we would definitely come back.
