Great location in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock. Accommodations are first class!! Our family enjoyed our getaway.

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

We absolutely loved our stay. Our two kids explored up and down the creek while my husband and I relaxed on the porch. The fireplace inside made us feel so cozy and we roasted s’mores on the outdoor fire pit! The sounds of the creek, especially as we went to bed, were also very welcome! Highly recommend the kayak rentals at River Girl and the chicken salad sandwich at the Mercantile! We would love to come back.

We loved this place! Amazing views, beautiful house, loved having a fire pit outside and a fireplace inside, and just a few minutes from Blowing Rock. We did some nice hikes and hit the slopes a day for snow skiing. Thank you!

We had a lovely stayed. When we first saw it we thought it was a cute place. Host had everything we need in the house. She was always responsive when I had questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location and the cabin was gorgeous. Love the Christmas decor and it felt like we were right at home. Lots of games and things for the children to do. They loved it.

The Mother Earth yurt was even better than the pictures and description! From the time we drove into the property to when we walked through the door, it was a welcoming, calming, and beautiful experience. Everything was in fabulous condition from full size luxurious bathtub, hot tub, to the rustic wooden shelves. The amenities and attention to detail like having books and DVDs to a bag of ice in the fridge and clear instructions and local recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. My family had the best time and are already wanting to come back. A day was not enough to experience all the goodness this property has to offer!

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was absolutely gorgeous. I wish we could have spent more than one night. The decor was fantastic and the "mush-room" as my boys named it, is perhaps the coolest bedroom ever. My boys loved the swing outside ( as did I), the firepit where we made smores w the supplies from the welcome basket Ian provided, and we made dinner on the charcoal BBQ. We used the games, puzzles and record player, as well as the coffee/ hot chocolate machine! We had a great night's sleep as well. Absolutely beautiful, can't wait to come back for a longer stay.
