Bryan and Pam have been amazing hosts. Our booking was close to being cancelled due to the aftermath of the storm that hit Muskoka and southern Ontario and took power out for most of cottage country. Bryan kept us updated on the power repairs and we were ecstatic that we didn’t have to cancel. We were also so pleasantly surprised to find the place in such great condition despite the havoc from the storm - it was completely cleaned and cleared before we arrived. The cottage itself is on Lake Muskoka and is a fantastic space - directly facing the lake with great views from indoors and outdoors. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was ample room for the family and our dogs. Loved it and would visit again!

We had an absolutely magical stay at this lakeside cottage! The attention to detail in the space was remarkable, with every corner thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it a joy to cook meals, and the wood-burning fireplace added the perfect cozy touch for our winter evenings. The views were breathtaking—each window felt like looking at a postcard, with stunning vistas of the lake and surrounding nature. Laura's hospitality truly stood out; she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. The location is unbeatable. Being just a short drive to Algonquin Park allowed us to enjoy some fantastic hikes with our dog and we loved returning to the peaceful setting of the cottage afterward. This cottage is a gem, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway or a cozy work-from-home option.

We had an amazing stay, the cottage was exactly what we were hoping for and Samantha was super helpful before and during our stay. Our two dogs absolutely loved the beach and the large lawn area, the cottage is very tastefully decorated and has a homely feel and as an added bonus, we had the most amazing weather for the end of September. Would love to stay longer next time!

We are a family of four with two young kids, and the stay in Azar’s peaceful waters cottage was great. The cottage is beautiful, decorated in very good taste, perfectly equipped and feels very homey. It is very clear that many details have been thought of to make it extremely friendly for guests, particularly for families (for example, there were spare change of sheets in the children’s bedrooms). We stayed there during a snowstorm weekend, so there we didn’t do a lot of travel around the area, but just staying in and hanging around the cottage was beautiful and very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It is a perfect place for families. We would definitely come back to Azar’s cottage to visit the area at other seasons as well.

Exactly as pictured/described, everything you need. Lixin is very friendly and responsive. Helpful with any questions you may have. Kids loves the bunk beds and we had a blast. Looking into booking in the summer.

My family and I had an absolutely relaxing stay at Vanessa’s cabin ! From the moment I booked, the communication was so seamless. Vanessa was incredibly friendly and very accommodating especially during the beginning of our trip when we first checked in. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The location of the cabin was absolutely stunning; the view of the frozen lake made waking up in the morning feel very magical (especially with all the snow fall we received those days). I also appreciated the thoughtful touches Vanessa added to our trip such as having firewood ready for us to use and shovelling the pathway from the driveway to the cabin. I felt so at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying here, and hope to definitely come back! Thanks again, Vanessa, for making my trip so memorable!

This was my families first Airbnb experience. Overall we had a great weekend and our host, Taylor, was incredible. There were a couple issues, out of anyones control, and Taylor responded quickly to resolve them. The cabin was very clean and has a great layout. All the beds and linens are very comfortable, the loft area was just as warm as the rest of the cabin and my teenaged son enjoyed sleeping up there. The shower has great water pressure and the water stayed warm for everyone. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities except for a drying cloth, that's the one and only thing that was missing. The area is beautiful and situated on a quiet small lake. We did some snowshoeing and ice fishing. Although we didn't get a bite, it was nice to be outside enjoying some family time on a beautiful day and we met a couple local residents who were very friendly. Taylor is an exceptional host and if you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect little cabin.

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

We have had the most wonderful stay! This home is just perfect! The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are pristine and SO BEAUTIFUL! Danna was very responsive... As recommendation in October Bala amenities ( restaurants, etc) are closed. We enjoyed the house.. Great family stay!!

Awesome getaway! The cottage is very well appointed with a great layout. Lots of water activities within the resort along with golf and tennis make it a great choice for families. Thanks David for hosting us at your beautiful cottage.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, well equipped, has comfy beds and is dog friendly. Make sure to bring coffee, salt and pepper, oil, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towel and a hair dryer. We enjoyed the ice rink and outdoor hot tub and some snow shoe paths on the property. It's only a 20 min drive to the Bracebridge forest management centre which has well groomed cross country and snow shoe trails, no charge. We enjoyed our stay.

This townhouse cottage style like residence was absolutely perfect for myself, and my two boys who are in their teenage years. Great access to the beach and the canoe. The only issue was with the public pool, which I thought was a pool located on the premises, but it was located next-door at a resort wasn’t clean, or easy to get into but because we had the beachfront, the pool didn’t matter. For anyone who’s looking to have access to a pool this might not be the best place. Carolyn’s place was absolutely spotless clean. It had everything and more that we could’ve asked for. It was absolutely fantastic. We’re even looking at renting again thank you very much for your hospitality and we had a great experience. Thank you. This was the first time I’ve ever rented an Airbnb and I had such a positive experience thank you.

Deborah’s Villa was beautiful! It had all the amenities one could ask for and the quality of the finishings was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with high quality dishes/pots and cutlery. It is a very spacious unit and from the moment we walked in we felt at home, as it was impeccably cleaned and very cozy. We loved all the amenities including the pool, hot tub, beach and recreation centre. The location is excellent and very close to both Bracebridge and Huntsville, if you choose to do any day outings. Deborah was a responsive and friendly host and reached out to us to make sure that we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend a stay at this Villa! and we hope to have the opportunity to come back for another relaxing week’s holiday!!

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was incredible. The first thing you notice is the incredible decor, the lovely welcome. The cabin is really well stocked with all the things you'd need. I highly recommend it. Splurge on the hot tub. It's totally worth it. Really enjoyed our stay.

The place was perfect! It had all the kitchen tools we needed, bedding, extra towels, etc. It’s on the rocky crest resort about a 2 minute walk from the main building, pool, hot tub, and lakefront. Four of us stayed in Liana’s place and couldn’t have been happier. She was extremely communicative and was quick to respond on any questions I had prior to arrival. We would definitely stay again!

We booked this place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life to relax and enjoy the calm. This place truly delivered! It was beautiful, cozy and the hot tub sure relaxed us! I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

not a single issue, host was available for questions, great space , great value and beautiful redone firepit with firewood. lots of chipmunks and ducks. the master bedroom felt like sleeping next to the water with amazing glider rocker Adirondack chairs right out the patio doors for morning coffee.

Such a beautiful place! We spent a wonderful 4 days in this peaceful spot. A nice hot tub under the winter stary sky was a great bonus. The inside of this cottage was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. It is modernly decorated as well as comfortable. A great spot for a family gathering or romantic get a way for two. Highly recommended!

We just came back and had a wonderful time. The cottage was the perfect peaceful and cozy getaway for my wife and I. The cottage is updated nicely and has all the amenities you could ask for our use. It was spotless and amazingly comfortable for our relaxing getaway. For this time of year it was amazing to still be able to enjoy the dock on the lake and have a fire every night. We would not hesitate to return and would recommend to anyone looking for a great northern getaway.

Beautiful cottage! It was super private and so cozy! The host did an incredible job of staging the place and making it feel homey with lots of fuzzy blankets. The fireplace was awesome! The best vibe for a winter cottage getaway. Place was super clean, and the attention to detail was incredible. Fully stocked kitchen drawers with everything you could possibly need. Washroom was super clean and overall house was great. I would definitely go back! Had the best weekend!

I stayed here for a girls weekend in the middle of January. It was such a wonderful time. The property is beautiful, house was clean, lots of pots/pans/cutlery, etc. There was sooo much snow and took some time to get to the front door, but it was manageable! Nick had mentioned the snow early on so we were prepared. Nick was also very responsive and helpful long before the trip and while we were there. The sauna is the cherry on top at the cottage, it was clean, and gets nice and hot. Hardy Lake Provincial Park is only 7 minutes down the road and we took advantage of that and went hiking. We had such a peaceful, relaxing time at the cottage.
