This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

A beautiful oasis to relax and kick up your feet with an amazing view.

La maison était très propre! La chambres des maîtres est immense et confortable. La douche de la salle de bain attenante est impressionnante. L’aménagement extérieur avec la piscine chauffée WOW. La vue sur la rivière des Outaouais est magnifique! Nous avons passé un agréable week-end dans votre maison. Je la recommande!

I udually write reviews on the host instead of the place first. But the place deserves it first. My goodness. The detail of this garage is amazing. If it was all your design Scott. Kudos to you my friend. What a great imagination you have. And the skill to bring it to life. My three friends wanted to get a night away from all responsibilities(aka wife and kids 😉) and relax. I don’t know how much sleeping we did. There was so much entertainment. It was even better than the pictures. And instructions for every. Only one thing. There was no instructions for the hot tub. I also didn’t have my glasses. So maybe I didn’t see them? Everything else in the house that needed instructions had them. Which is part of the details that went in building an awesome place like this. My three friends and I are tradesmen. All we talked about was making a place like this for our children. Scott was also amazing. He left us alone. Even though we made noise. Thank you for that Scott. We are also sorry.

We had a wonderful new years trip staying at this place with multiple families and young children. The property was enormous with lots of space to play in the snow, and the inside was clean and spacious. Kendra was very kind and helped us out with early check-in and late check out, and was quick to help us arrange a solution when we left things behind. We would highly recommend Calabogie House!

This is a custom house with a very unique layout with direct riverfront access in a private neighbourhood. 5 beds (I believe 3 kings 2 queens), two dining areas, large kitchen and a centralized living space. Games room (pool, table tennis) above the double garage with parking for multiple vehicles (easily 5) on two separate driveways. Large sauna in the basement (it gets quite hot), and a very clean (and comfortable) hot tub on the first floor facing the river. We had a group of 7 and had no issues stretching out after a ski trip. Sound insulation of the house is excellent. Heated floors available in all the bathrooms and what appears to be most of the house. Two of the bedrooms did not have window shades. Dr. Brown was very accommodating with a later checkout time, and is very easy to talk to. This is a very unique airbnb experience.

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! Rox nous a offert un service 5 étoiles ! Elle nous a accompagné a chaque étape et elle a veillé à ce que tout se passe bien pour nous :) Ce fut un super séjour en famille entouré de paysages verdoyants. Nous avons particulièrement aimé utiliser les barques et le paddle board, mais également le fire pit et les jeux de société pour grand et petits. Les pièces étaient toutes propres et les draps sentaient bons le propre ! Nous recommandons cette maison à 100%

This was one of the best cottages / Lake house we have ever stayed at. Very large. Clean and modern. The host left us small Christmas / new year gifts for the children. Great special touch. Very responsive and accommodating and inviting. Very high end and well stocked kitchen. Great for our large group. We had no issues of any kind. We had a great few days and will definitely be back at some point soon.

We had a great stay! We visited as a family of three, including a teenager, for a ski trip to Calabogie (about 30 minutes away). The game room and pool table were a big hit, and we loved relaxing on the comfy couch for movie nights. The place had everything we needed! The dining table was a bit small, but we made it work. A bonus was having a Tim Hortons nearby, and we highly recommend Chicken Palace—an absolute must for meals! The only downside was the beds, which were extremely firm—not ideal for everyone. Mattress toppers would be an easy fix! We would go back!

Lovely place to stay, exactly as described. They were more than accommodating with anything we needed. There home have me the perfect relaxing weekend I was looking for. They even went above n beyond for each of there guess. I recommend everyone visit this place at least once.

We had a wonderful stay! Sacha’s property is beautiful, the home is filled with natural light and has everything you’ll need. The sauna was a super bonus!

Very serene, private location with a fabulous deck to immerse yourself in nature. The leaves were very colorful, and we saw a family of 4 deer in the front yard! What an experience! The cottage is a beautifully restored farm house with updated conveniences as well as some personalized rustic touches, for example the sink in the bathroom is magnificent, and the dining table is huge and hand crafted so food could be served at one end and our pre schooler could work on puzzles at the other end. We enjoyed several campfires where our grandson roasted marshmallows for the first time. The cottage was well decorated and furnished, and very comfortable, especially for a multi generation family; it was even equipped with "fairy lights" in an upstairs bedroom. We had such a great time enjoying new adventures every day. Thank you Victoria for sharing your lovely rural property. We definitely plan on returning next year. My friends and I had an amazing weekend, everything was beyond described and could not have been better. We have now discussed doing a yearly trip to the cottage simply because of how much everyone loved the location. I would recommend this place to anyone with a large group looking to make memories that will last a lifetime

A beautiful get-away in the country! Second time visiting - first for a nearby wedding, and this time to host a visiting chef, and celebrate a birthday! A cozy get-together in a beautiful home and gorgeous surroundings. Couldn’t have been a more perfect venue!

We had a great time, everything was exactly as advertised. The place was very clean, comfortable and spacious. There’s a nice deck and a fire pit outside. We enjoyed using the kayak and paddle board, the water was nice with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to returning next summer.

This place provided the perfect setting for our family get together. If we stayed in there was lots to do! Everything was clean and host was great!! If we wanted to go out we were only 20 minutes from downtown…if we needed something we were a 12 minute walk from many stores and restaurants. Thank you for everything 🩷

Love staying here! The host" Craig" is wonderful! He is very responsive with any questions! Very easy to find the place . We also love his gazebo looking over the corn feilds. Look forward to next time!
