Great location for visiting family in Newcastle. Loved the location close to beach. Cottage was lovely, full of character and beautifully furnished. Comfortable large bed. Would definitely stay again.

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

A great little cottage right on the coast. Lovely location for exploring. We got the metro from the city centre and it was super simple as the station is a short walk from the cottage. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants close by. The cottage itself was cosy and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for our getaway

Beautiful area to visit and the property was perfectly equipped, clean and homely. Location was perfect for walks along the beaches,metro, restaurants and road trips exploring the area! We had an excellent week.

We had a wonderful stay at Joannes home! It is so perfectly located to do all we wanted to - seaglass hunting!! Huge benefit to have the parking spot on the front drive. Also huge bonus to be in walking distance to ammenities - asda, pharmacy, home shops and food outlets. Everything we needed was here - a home away from home. The tea/cake/milk was a kind touch. Comfy, clean bright airy base. Comfy sofa and bed. Really well decorated and maintained, lovely colour schemes and accents - nothing has been overlooked. Joanne was an attentive host with friendly communication. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are ever up North again. Thank you so much!

Lovely spacious house with a homely feel to it. Suited our needs perfectly and had a fabulous weekend celebrating a 21st birthday. Lovely coastal walk and great local food. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

Laura was great answered all questions before and after booking. The caravan was lovely and modern. Nice size and was a winner to see the Yorkshire tea bag amongst other essentials on arrival. The little dishwasher was great to have too. Would defo use again. Thanks Laura :)

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a great time at Mark's Caravan. Place was clean and you can buy the essentials (soap, tissue etc) from Nisa next door, it's a bit pricy though. We had some issues with the Wifi but managed to connect the TV to my phone hotspot. The kids had a great time (other that the first disappointment when they couldn't find the swing shown in the picture). Just be aware to leave the beach before the tide as we didn't realise that we were surrounded by water from behind and the only safe pathway was covered with water, so we had to take a pathway full of rocks and my little was slipped over and injured his face, no warning sign was left to warn visitors, nothing related to Mark of course, rather than the safety of the place. Also there is a free indoor pool for the kids but you have to buy a weekly pass which costs 18£ but also depends on availability so maybe would be helpful if the owner can book that in advance for the visitors which would be free in that case. Def will come again!

Cozy accommodation in a great location. The delightful home had everything needed to make it a memorable stay. Although not needed, due to the comprehensive instructions and extras provided, the friendly owners were a pleasure to meet. Hope to return soon. Highly recommended!

We booked the B&B for Friday 24th, and Saturday 25th; however, due to weather conditions, we only stayed on the 25th. The B&B was situated in a quiet area, which was advantageous. The interior was spacious and beautifully decorated. The rooms were lovely, and there was a pleasant outdoor area featuring two hot tubs. However, despite previous cleaning, a couple of shards of glass remained in one of the tubs; fortunately, no one was injured. The host was incredibly accommodating, providing Prosecco, a generous supply of tea, coffee, milk, and ice, however there were a couple of used coffee pods placed in the coffee drawer. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, especially for streaming music through a speaker. We did experience slow drainage in a couple of the showers, but after mentioning it, the host assured us it would be taken care of. Overall, the experience was very positive. The setting, hospitality, and amenities made for a pleasant stay, we’d definitely consider returning!

The house was spacious and clean. Everything worked just fine and communication was highly efficient. 10 mins walk from the beach.

Sean was fantastic as a host! The house was spectacular and looked exactly like what the images showed. Super clean and had everything we needed. The setup is gorgeous. We definitely plan to stay with him again!

Excellent quirky flat across multiple floors. Great location next to the metro. Would recommend to anyone.

Sarah's home was exactly like the listings that she has wrote and was warm,comfortable and relaxing just like a home from home place really. Sarah kept us up to date with regular updates and info about everything we needed to know and do. Her home was 5 minutes away from the town and beach which we visited every day, we had wonderful time at Sarah's home and would totally recommend it , so a very big Thank You to Sarah again for sharing your home with us for our stay in Newbiggin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The place was just as described on the listing and photos. Very clean and well presented. One thing which would help is a small coffee table/extra table in the living area as there is only one small table, but this is just us nitpicking! Access to the parking could have been described more clearly as we struggled to find the parking but got there in the end. A good place for a short weekend break.

I stayed here with my Dad, who spent his University days in the area, but who now has dementia, but recognises this area still. I chose Matthew’s listing as it looked like it would be great to have access to a private garden to give my dad and I an outside space to go to even if he didn’t feel up to going out proper. I can’t say enough great things about the home and my stay. We had everything we needed and had just the best, quality father-daughter time (which is especially important as his dementia progresses). I am so grateful I could use Matthew’s home, it was perfect and as a host, I couldn’t have asked for more.
