We had a wonderful stay in Gary's house. It is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with just a few minutes by foot to reach the sea. The modern interior of the house has all the comfort you need and Gary went above and beyond to make it childproof and adjust to our needs. We would come back any time. Thank you :-)

Lovely spacious, clean and quiet house. Perfect for our family stay. Very comfy beds and well appointed kitchen. We were 5 adults and fitted us perfectly. Huge telly and nice sofa. Fast wifi and responsive host. Would defo stay here again and recommend both the lovely modern house and very responsive hosts.

I took my two daughters and 4 grandchildren for a long weekend and we loved it. Fabulous location, amazing house, great facilities and amenities. Extremely relaxing and a great host.

Excellent location within walking distance of the beach, good restaurants and amenities. The accommodation was clean (bearing in mind it's dog friendly) and looked newly decorated. The only downside was the heating, as it was very cold and the settings meant it took a long time to get warm. It could have been because it hadn't been occupied for a while and it was February, but found I was unable to leave my dog downstairs, on a tiled floor all night without any heating on. A setting of 12 degrees would have been enough.

Our fiirst stay this weekend and wow we loved it, nice rather hilly walk to the city centre lovely river views too, Great location fuel station mc Donald's and shops not far and a fish n chips down the road we used just eat to order food which came quick, parking was great and we were lucky both days to get a spot right outside, clear instructions and we'll equipped my favourite part has to be the great range of children's toys books and games my 2yr old was very excited and spent a long time playing he even slept first time in a big boy bed very happy thankyou Liz we will be back again 😀

Great house in a fab location. It’s a big house that was super comfortable. The back garden was a plus for the dog to run round in. Friendly neighbours too. It was just what we needed.

Ellen’s place is ideal location - we travelled down for sky diving and a trip to Durham both a great distance from the Airbnb. Ellen was friendly and proactive and the space is clean and cosy - very homely. Definitely recommend.

Stayed in Clives flat to visit our daughter at uni and was ideal. Good location, lovely and clean, with secure parking, that was easily within walking distance of everything we wanted. My only issue was after Mrs Long had finished her shower, there was no water for me, so I had to go without till the following day, which really wasn't great.

We had such a great stay! The location is perfect with a mall across the street and lots of restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive which was nice because we got in later at night. The place was extremely clean which is super nice when on the road! I would definitely recommend!

I’d rate these people as SUPER HOSTS with their friendly, informative and prompt communications. They supplied a fully documented guide for household equipment which was second to none. Also, simple instructions to gain entrance to property and even advice where to walk our dog. The apartment was immaculate and yet cosy — we had a great stay. Thank you Ben & Sarah

Niels place was lovely to stay in. Very convenient for visiting the area. Very well equipped for cooking. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

I couldn't recommend Will & Dawn's place more. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The instructions on how to find the place were detailed and Will was proactive in communication, ensuring we knew how to get there. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The place was done out to a very high spec. The pool was also a big draw which our four year old boy particularly enjoyed. The location was a great base for exploring Northumberland. We'll definitely be back

Dean's apartment was clean, comfy and just as described. The location was perfect for us visiting relatives in the area. The metro is a short walk which gave easy access to the city centre. We would recommend Dean's apartment.

I cannot state enough how friendly and accommodating Yvonne was! Great communication and amazing flat. Everything was spotlessly clean and so warm and comfortable, we felt right at home! Will definitely be returning to stay with these hosts! Thankyou so much ❤️

Beautifully presented apartment within easy walking distance of the train station and Durham city centre. Fully equipped kitchen with good quality appliances, comfy bed with quality bedlinen, and very responsive and helpful hosts. I would stay again if visiting Durham and am happy to recommend.

The flat and kitchen were very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great location and very peaceful. Both Benjamin and Neil were very helpful and friendly. We would have no hesitation in making a return booking.

Absolutely great place to stay with 2 12 year old boys. Brilliant location and so much to do - Caroline gave us some fab recommendations. The flat was in a perfect location - close to the beach and loads of places to eat. The boys loved the bunk beds and I was impressed with the size of the rooms. Kitchen well equipped if you wanted to cook but we ate out for most meals. The bathroom is a wet room - so take crocs for using the toilet after a shower to avoid wet feet - this was not a problem for us at all and the shower was lovely and warm. Lots of little touches were great, biscuits and tea and coffee, toilet roll, cleaning products so if you arrived late no problem - also a shop over the road. Highly recommend as a lovely downstairs flat with parking near the sea - perfect.

Fabulous place for peace and quiet. So close to the beach for walks with the dogs. Everywhere we walked to was really catered for dogs. Some great places to walk to on the beach. Accomodation warm and cosy just as described, host made you feel at home with nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed staying at the Esplanade apartment in Whitley Bay which was very handy for shops and services, pilus transport via the Metro, and great local restaurants. The apartment was comfortable for what I wanted for a few days, and the parking space was an added bonus. The level entry without stairs was ideal too for someone with mobility issues like me having had a new knee. I'd recommend the place and probably stay again,

Great place. Perfect for walking in to centre. Right near beautiful walks along river. Right next to train station. We went to York for the day on train and great train service. Accommodation had everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Neighbours were great to chat to. A great place to stay. Thank you
