Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

Great house with nice size bedrooms, good social space and amazing location near the sea.

Fiona was a polite, kind, helpful and very open host. She was happy to engage in chatter, and encouraged a very friendly ambience. The flat itself was very cosy and Fiona made you feel at home with the use of kitchen and bathroom whilst the living room itself was very homely. All in all I really enjoyed my stay with Fiona and would not hesitate to book with her again the next time I am in the area. Thanks for helping to make my stay so enjoyable Fiona!

Allaoua was very nice and easy to contact and would respond promptly to any questions we had. He went over everything when we got there and it was great for our family of 8. We even hosted a family of 5 for dinner one night and there was plenty of space for all 13 of us! Highly recommend! Lots of nearby restaurants/grocery store/beach!

This stay was quite literally perfect. Perfect location, perfect accommodation and a wonderful environment to spend the evenings in. Local pubs nearby are great and this accommodation should sort anyone out if they are in Whitley Bay.

I booked this place for my parents and they enjoyed every minute of their stay at Michelle’s place, wishing they could extend their stay even longer. The apartment is identical to the photos. Michelle maintained contact throughout the stay and was always responsive, if needed. A beautiful home and a beautiful view, with an attentive host. Everything is close by, walking distance or venturing out in the car. All in all a very peaceful and easy stay, which is what everyone is looking for. Thanks again Michelle!

Just returned from a lovely stay at Cronkley Cottage as a group of four with one dog. It is in a fabulous location right next to the reservoir, and the walks were great for our dog. The cottage is situated in a really peaceful area and was easy to find following the information provided. Self-check-in was straightforward using the keypad, and the manual sent ahead of our stay was really helpful and answered all of our questions. The property has lots of amenities to use and offers good space for four adults and a dog. It would be even better in the summer to make use of the BBQ/outdoor area. There were even dog bowls, a towel, and poo bags provided, which came in useful as we were staying with our dog. Emma had great communication, and it was a pleasure to stay there. Would recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Nice house 100m from the sea, easy to walk out to harbour and coast. All clean, tidy, warm, had all we needed. Good local shops and restaurants. Amble is a small coastal town with a marina and a working harbour (fresh fish at the restaurant was superb).

Stylish, spacious, very comfortable house in quiet setting with peaceful Marina views. Bright and light because of the big windows at the back. Exactly what it says ‘on the tin’. Had a relaxing 2 nights here and plan to come again when visiting family in Newcastle.

We were a group of two familes with children and dogs and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious and comfortable. The pool table and hot tub were an added bonus. The house provided a great base for us to explore the North East coast.

Wow!!!! What a house!! The location right on the beach is simply beautiful. The house was immaculate and the smell on arrival was gorgeous! Everything was perfect for us to celebrate a special birthday and Tracey checked in with us to ensure we had all we needed. Took us about 15 mins to walk into Amble where there are lots of places to eat. We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to return!! Thank you so much!!!

Great weekend stay. The apartment is located very close to the beach, with lovely sea views. Well equipped - perfect for 2 couples with 2 bathrooms, 2 good sized bedrooms, and a spacious living area. Kitchen is great. Everything was pristine - no complaints at all. A very special place to stay. We will definitely be back. Thanks Ivan.

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

A wonderful quiet stay in a delightful flat on the second floor with wide stairs. Comfortable with everything provided with tasteful decor. Easy to find the keys with excellent access when parking the car. View was lovely and a great location for the beach and local amenities. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Robert

Nick was a great host, very friendly, helpful and quick with responses. He recommended some places close by for food, which meant we got to try the cafe at the marina which was super cute. The apartment itself was spotless, very modern and lovely setting with the balcony. It suited our friend group perfectly for the weekend and I would also stay again with my family.

Karen is good to deal with, communications were excellent, and she picked us up from the train station which was handy. The flat is great, more spacious and more natural light than I had expected. Location is good, 2 minutes walk from the Baltic, close to the Glasshouse (both of which are worth a visit) and the Millenium Bridge across to the Quayside at Newcastle. There's a bus stop right outside the apartment block, and the Metro is only quarter of an hour away near the very large Tesco. Restaurants - Lui's was excellent; Babucho very good, as was Ravel Indian; Pitcher and Piano has great views by the Tyne, but was very noisy Friday and Saturday nights. The Hooch was a great place for a drink with nice music; Station East was very quirky. We went to Laing art gallery (good cafe too) which was very good, and the Cathedral. If you're adventurous, a 45 minute walk to Saltwell Park (buses are available) was worthwhile as the weather was great.
