We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

I don’t think the pictures did this place justice- it was absolutely beautiful and homey and had everything we needed, including the comfiest bedding I’ve ever slept in. We were given great recommendations and the communication was quick, friendly and helpful. We did have a few woodlouse and even a beetle in the house but we were warned and there’s repellants so there wasn’t much more that the host could’ve done. The area was so peaceful and it was a perfect break from normal life. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

We had 5 amazing days at Laura and Andy’s cottage. The views are breathtaking, having breakfast outside looking at the fields and surrounding countryside is something that will stay with us for a long time, so peaceful and beautiful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, having the wood burner made it feel so cosy. Andy and Laura are excellent hosts (probably the best we’ve had). We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

What a great house to stay in, the pictures don’t actually do it justice. It has everything that you could expect and more, plenty of space and stuff to keep children occupied

Wow. What a stunning place to stay Beautiful house. Amazing grounds and scenery. Pool tennis court and bar with games room was a great addition. Alistair was a fabulous host. Very friendly most informative and a genuinely nice guy. Would highly recommend the clay pigeon shoot on the lawn which Alistair organised. 10 out of 10 will definitely return in the near future. This is easily one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. From the communications, to the home itself, it was amazing. The home is spacious, with large rooms, including the bedrooms and bathroom, it had absolutely everything in it you would have in Your own home. A lovely garden, although we were there in March so sitting outside was not an option You really couldn’t ask for any better holiday home, I would definitely book again next time I’m down I. Me and a friend had a lovely two night stay here so we could visit another friend in the area. The accommodation was really beautiful and very well maintained, with everything we needed. Vanessa was great with her communication and we found the place with no bother at all! I would definitely recommend to a friend! Thank you for a lovely stay. Sally x

A lovely place to stay right in the heart of Ashburton. It was just off the main road, but as it was behind the other houses in a secluded courtyard it was lovely and peaceful. Polly was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. She was away that weekend, but was still very responsive if we had any questions. If we are in the area again, we would definitely chose to stay at The Rabbit Hole!

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely flat. It was situated in an ideal location for both the Hoe/seafront and the city centre. The flat was well equipped and warm and the parking space was a real bonus. William was attentive , asking us if we had arrived safely and if everything was okay. He responded immediately when we had a minor problem. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. Thank you, we will be visiting again.

Such a lovely place, Jackie and John always on site. Peaceful and very well looked after grounds. The apartment was very clean and looked after. Will definitely return.

Mia’s place was gorgeous, spacious and clean and had everything we needed. It was lovely to have all the necessities there, including milk and toiletries to use. It’s in a great location and Mia was always so friendly and responsive. I would 100% recommend! The only bit to keep in mind is that this is not exactly an apartment, but a self sufficient section of a family home with certain doors locked to make it private. The parking is also an extremely small lay by in front of the back garage, accessible by a very steep, narrow single lane ally way. Mia was helpful in helping us find this, but just be aware that if your car is larger than a fiat 500 and you are not a confident driver, you may struggle.

We had the perfect couple of days by the sea. Kerrie’s place is cosy, brilliantly designed and the bed is sooo comfortable. Exactly what we needed to relax and wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. Kerrie was really helpful with local recommendations and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back, we loved Kingsand and Cawsand!

we spent two weeks at Pippa's place. it was everything that we were told and more. Pippa, Matt and the children were very welcoming and friendly. The Annexe is very spacious clean and comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would happily stay there again in the future and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family

We had a wonderful stay. The location was stunning with lots of nature places to visit locally lots of places to go that are dog friendly the accommodation was very dog friendly and the surrounding area with a great private dog walking section , the accommodation had everything you needed and more from breakfast selection to shampoo conditioner and much more . The accommodation was very child friendly our daughter absolutely loved it. She very much enjoyed the garden with the pond pony and other farm animals. It’s the perfect tech free getaway the kids would never get bored here with so much to see and do . I would most definitely recommend this accommodation for nature lovers and people wanting a peaceful getaway we will definitely be back again soon . Thanks again for a lovely stay

Fantastic place to stay, super clean on arrival, brilliant location , close to beach, woods and south west coast path, had everything we needed and really nicely decorated and kept, super responsive host, we had a 3 night stay and really enjoyed it, walked to Looe along coast path, visited Polperro, had a sea swim and then a sauna at Motts, brilliant mini break, would highly recommend

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.

Amazing location with stunning views and great property that is ideal for a large family gathering! The garden was the star for us and our four legged friends - we all really enjoyed the space and privacy. 👌We had a family ‘Sports day’ one day for all twelve of us and there was more than enough room. The house itself has everything you need for a relaxing stay and there are loads of really good places to visit and eat at - some great pubs and we’d really recommend the vineyard five minutes down the road for a tour! (@Swanaford Vineyard). Some of the local roads are a little tight for space - one car only but if you go slowly and be respectful of other road users it’s fine. We also tried some local golf courses, Teign Valley the closest, all gave some good challenges but are also really well looked after. We also had a private chef one night (@LeFrog) which made for a very special anniversary celebration. Would highly recommend if you are a large group booking the whole place.
