I cannot fault both Barry and Fay ! We had the most relaxing beautiful trip ! It was combined holiday trip and family wedding in Kent ! The property was so spacious and clean and both were so accommodating with our extra needs ! It was so lovely to go in the hot tub in morning and eve and play pool instead of watching tv! This is such a relaxing place to stay this is deffinatley the place to de stress and unwind just the perfect property to relax and enjoy the moment ! I would say they are perfect host … there if needed and also give you space … amazing is the best description !

I would happily give this an 11/10 rating. From the start, Larissa was approachable and friendly. The property was lovely, with quality fittings and furnishings. The location was ideal for visiting numerous places. Parking was right next to the property, on a large private drive. A welcome pack included breakfast cereals in jars, as well as fruit juice - a lovely touch. The icing on the cake for us, was that Larissa and her Husband had researched local WW2 remains, as well as cycle routes (as they knew that was why we were staying there), and left us a lovely letter with ideas of where to go, as well as relevant leaflets tied up with a ribbon - Above and beyond expectations. What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

We chose Aimee's place to stay as it looked a great place to chill out. The area is peaceful, you are in a beautiful garden, hot tub, plenty of space and privacy to relax. Aimee is really easy to speak to and very helpful with any questions you have and also has information in the table for you if you fancy different days out. You have everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook including a BBQ in the garden. The bed is really comfy, I loved the double doors we could open in the morning. We had a brilliant time and will be back hopefully next year.

The Old shires barn was beyond our expectations, with an absolutely beautiful living space. The gift basket and robes were a very nice touch that made us feel at home. The owners were very responsive, helpful and friendly throughout. It was a pleasure to stay here and would definitely recommend.

A tranquil and peaceful little spot perfect for a couples getaway. We did some hiking up towards the coastline and took a trip to the lovely Canterbury City which is a short drive away. Overall a great weekend away and highly recommended.

I booked to stay at the cottage for my husband's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The communication between myself and Tim & Maite was great. They were always responsive and super helpful. The photos of the house don't do it justice. It’s such a lovely area and although you may see the occasional walker in the distance, you feel like your'e in the middle of nowehere. The hot tub was a great addition to the property, especially since the pool at the house was not available due to it being out of season and super cold, as explained prior to our arrival. We ( and the kids) loved the house, loved the fire, loved the hot tub, loved the games, We played the family edition of Cards Against Humanity and it was just a lovely relaxing family weekend away without computer games - it was bliss. The perfect setting and in my husbands words - it was the perfect find! Thank you so much to Tim and Maite for such a wonderful stay.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House is beautiful, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Hot tub was a real treat! Big thank you to an excellent host, who responded immediately when I had a question about the heating. Perfect!

Perfect cottage for a 2 night stay, great location with parking, easy to walk to pubs and restaurants. Peter was very responsive and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this property.

Nice little house. Pleasant decor. Excellent modern kitchen. 4 minutes walk to Whitstable high street and the seafront, with lots of Cafes, Bars and restaurants. It is probably more suited to adults than kids.

What a wonderful cottage to stay in! We loved it there. A beautiful house, very comfortable beds, very clean. Croissants provided for breakfast. Lovely setting with a large and secure car park space that fitted our van. Stairs to the first floor were easy to manage for 82 year old granny (wide and not too steep, good handrail, also quite short). There is one high step up into the bedroom with the two beds which was fine for us. Diane was very communicative and responded quickly. We would highly recommend Diane’s cottage, and we’ll be back on our return journey.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Dahlia's cottage. It's a gorgeous house, amazing location for the beach and centre of Whitstable. The Lobster Shack is only a 10 minute walk away! The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It's not a negative but if you're staying with young kids/toddlers, bear in mind that the stairs are extremely steep (as Dahlia describes) so you'll need to supervise going up and down them. Dahlia's communication was excellent and the bottle of prosecco on arrival was such a nice surprise. We would definitely stay again :-)

We really enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay at Pebble Cottage. It was perfect for our needs and a great place to spend a break in Whitstable. The town itself is lovely - really vibrant seaside location with lots of good pubs, restaurants and shops all within a few minutes walking distance of the cottage Many thanks to Janet, who is a great host - very responsive and helpful, which made things super easy from booking to departure.

The accommodation is an interesting historical building beautifully converted into living area. The cottage contained all we could have asked for and provided a clean comfortable base. Parking was a lot better than expected and we readily found suitable street parking within a short distance.

Everything was great and as described with a perfect location close to the sea front. Stephen was friendly and made us feel welcome upon arrival so it was easy to settle in and relax. A well deserved five stars!

We’ve enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Dawn’s place in Sandwich. It’s a beautiful cottage and we felt right at home straight away. Very cosy and with a lovely garden and the perfect location to get around Sandwich easily. We also visited Deal which was an easy journey by public transport. We’ve already decided we will be back - thank you Dawn for making us feel so welcome! 🤗

Joanne is an amazing host, along with her husband. She guided me in, as I drive past the entrance. And her husband went out just to get me some logs! The cottage is spacious and well equipped. Perfect all round

As a family of 3, we spent a lovely 3 night stay over February half term. Joe and Tamsyn responded very promptly on booking and throughout our stay and gave clear instructions to the property. Check in was straightforward. The house itself is charming; attractively decorated, warm and clean. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of fridge space and dishwasher. Bedrooms and bathrooms as per the pictures and comfortable. A short walk to the beach and the Main Street of restaurants and pubs. Joe and Tamsyn have a folder of helpful information with recommendations. We’d recommend a stay here - a pretty cottage in pretty Whitstable.

We were visiting Deal for a family birthday and we found everything at the property exceeded our expectations. It has a fantastic mix of old world heritage feel and charm, whilst having all the modern facilities you would hope for. We would have no hesitation recommending the property, and Ian’s attentive response times to questions/queries. The guidance notes for the property and the surrounding area were also really good, with something for everyone and details to arrange included. An all round wonderful experience, many thanks. We loved Seashells Cottage. It's in a great location - a few minutes walk from the beach and town. We found parking on the road nearby without any trouble. It's perfect for 2 people and had everything we needed. A charming cottage in easy reach of lots of places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Richard!

What can we say - We loved our stay at Jo’s Cottage, it was a great location, very quiet and we got to see the resident badger. We found Jo exceptionally friendly. She gave us an in-depth introduction to the cottage and to cap it off, she had the heating going for us. Can thoroughly recommend Jo’s cottage for a relaxing escape.

this place in incredible, me and my partner chose this for our 1 year anniversary and we couldn't be happier. it was so peaceful and we could enjoy the fantastic views while we relaxed. the full kitchen was a massive help as we love to cook when we are away, everything from the hob to the dishwasher was so easy to use and in great condition. the bedroom so so bright during the day and the bed was so comfy for getting a good night sleep. the shower was really nice and easy to use and the whole bathroom was extremely clean, all cleaning products were supplied Incase we needed them as well. we cannot wait for our next stay
