A perfect base for our explorations around Trieste and the Istrian peninsula. Blanka was very welcoming and gave some excellent recommendations for food. Izola is a lovely town and has plenty to offer for food and activity.

Ogrodzony teren umożliwia swobodne wychodzenie dla piesków. Bardzo wygodne łóżka i przestronne sypialnie. Wspaniała atmosfera. Troskliwy i pomocny Gospodarz. Appartamento ristrutturato con tutti i confort, la cucina non ha tutti gli accessori che servirebbero per sfruttarla come a casa propria, ma nel complesso è un bell' appartamento.. peccato per il complesso in cui si trova, abbastanza datato e meritevole di alcuni accorgimenti come rifare le scale di legno che portano all'appartamento ( condizioni pessime molto traballanti) , luce nel corridoio che porta all'appartamento assente, di sera è buio e non proprio praticabile. Tea però è un host attivo e disponibile per tutte le esigenze. Lo consiglio per qualità prezzo.

We loved our stay at the Villa Irena in Vipavski Kriz, what an experience! Marija and Irena were ever so hospitable. They've helped us a lot with the check-in and check-out so we can make the most of our short stay in the region. We've arrived late after a long journey so it really helped to have the basics- tea, coffee, local information etc Vipavski Kriz is a unique place, incredibly beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The Villa Irena is ideal for exploring this part of Slovenia- the coastline, the valley and the local culture. The hosts are part of the local community of Ajdovscina and it was an immense pleasure to be their guests. The villa is just as beautiful as in the pictures or even more given the setting of Vipavski Kriz with its heritage and the surrounding nature.

Very nice and spacious apartment with a beautiful sea view. The pool and the coffee maker with freshly ground beans were great! Roman and Kathy were quick to respond.

Nice small apartment with everything you need. Bus stop is basically next to it, lake is a few minutes walk away. Beautiful scenery. Heating was good. We visited during New Years Eve. Beware that if there are concerts nearby, it can get quite noisy inside the flat too. But this is probably not a frequent thing.

We had a very pleasant stay, starting with the warmest welcome I ever experienced with an Airbnb. We had enough privacy during our stay and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with a river swimming spot just across the road. The immediate vicinity of the train wasn’t a problem. We would definitely come back!

Sehr netter Empfang. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, aber sauber. Toll ist, dass man im Haupthaus ein kleines Frühstück mit selbstgerechter Marmelade bekommt. Es ist ein sehr schönes Grundstück, mit Obstbäumen, einer Wiese mit Sitzmöbeln, Hängematte etc. - bei gutem Wetter kann man sich hier wunderbar erholen. Dass Auto steht auf einem überdachten Parkplatz direkt neben dem Zimmer.

Lovely, peaceful setting with a view of the mountains and a convenient walking path to the village. You have ultimate privacy as the home is located at the very end of a gravel road through agricultural fields and small garden plots. House was very clean and everything worked just fine. Very convenient to the large market (groceries, general household needs...and gelato!). Two things to be aware of: There are three houses in the general area with the same address so be sure to put the entire address into your GPS. Also all sleeping areas are upstairs up a stepladder type of stairs. It's fine, but not the house for those with mobility issues. Nela is warm and welcoming and very helpful with tips to make your stay in Slovenia memorable!

The flat is huge! We spent a week with a teen/a twen who love having their own space. But the flat would easily provide space for six people. The flat itself is beautiful, impeccably clean and well-equipped for cooking. It is in the countryside, but only 25 min to Ljubljana, 10 min to the next grocery store, 30 min to spectacular caves and about an hour to the Soča valley (wonderful for hiking). The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would love to come back!

Incredible apartment and location. Quiet and walkable from bars, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. Lao was incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we needed anything or any guidance. Highly recommend for a stay in the area!

Krásné ubytování na farmě se spoustou roztomilých a kamarádských zvířecích kamarádů. Moderně vybavený apartmán. Velmi milý a ochotný hostitel. Na uvítanou jsme dostali koblížky, domácí vajíčka a mošt, ovoce a pálenku. Děkujeme.
