Wildwood : chambres d'hôtel

The Chalfonte Hotel is such a cool place! If you’re intrigued with history and character, this is an experience for you. Only a 5 min walk from the beach and lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area. This was my first time in Cape May, it will certainly not be my last.

We enjoyed our stay here. we stayed overnight in September for an event and enjoyed the makings of a really cute, old timey beach bed and breakfast. The only comment I can suggest is that the common areas were not set ip to be inviting for vacationers. The lounge and kitchen is a well lived-in area and I wasn't sure if we should use it, but we were there off season and the room was discounted. Our room was very clean and cute, with its own private bathroom. I liked the vibe of the throwback decor, and the building was quiet. I enjoyed being greeted by the hosts and their child, and they personally showed me our room and set us all up with all the things we need. it make me feel very welcome as if they were welcoming us into their family home. we would stay again!

It is always a pleasure to stay in the beautiful Chalfonte Hotel! Charming historic Victorian surroundings and a beautiful relaxing veranda three blocks from Cape May's beaches. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, and the King Edward bar is always full of interesting conversations and delicious drinks. We have been coming to Cape May for 10 years and have stayed in the Chalfonte for three, I don't see myself staying anywhere else!

I enjoyed my stay in the little corner room at the Chalfonte. I loved reading and people-watching on the porch. It's a great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping area. I parked my car a few blocks away and rented a bicycle to get around town. The bathroom was a bit further down the hall than I expected, but it was always clean and available.

Great spot! loved the communal feel and accessibility to the beach. Room was tidy and exactly what I needed. Great experience all around!

Our stay was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The room was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The heated pool was an added bonus! We loved our stay in Lokal and Cape May. We plan on returning in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Brooklyn Beach Club. It was so fascinating walking around the area and admiring the mid century modern motels on every corner. We loved the pool and the amenities. The host was welcoming and super quick to respond. Thanks so much for making our stay incredibly fun and relaxing.

Great motel to stay at in Wildwood, just a few blocks from Morey's pier. A clean, safe, and quiet place to stay during our trip, just what we needed!

We had a great stay at Leanne’s place! She was very responsive to all my messages. Wish we got to use the pool but maybe next year! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful spot and a lovely room with high vaulted ceilings. The heated salt water pool is a a great feature as well. We had views of the water and the beach is right across the street. You also have easy access to the town center and restaurants and bars. Some small annoyances: The Sonos system never worked and the stove didn’t work because it wasn’t plugged in. The manager is very responsive generally and helpful. They also provided a complementary bottle of champagne to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

We had a great time, beach earlier in day, then pool, shower & dinner on boardwalk, rides and quiet time on balcony looking over Wildwood! Next day-repeat 😊

Awesome little spot to stay close to the beach for me, my boyfriend and our two dogs. The staff was friendly and I loved being able to text the staff with questions.

Meghan, my 2 friends (from grade school) and I enjoyed our 4 days in Avalon. Your location which is one block from the beach is very convenient. We also had no issues with parking. We appreciate your attention to detail and making your condo very comfortable for the 3 of us. The binder with all the pertinent information was very helpful and the checkin process was easy. Great view of the fireworks on Friday nights. We stepped out onto the balcony and they were right infront of us. Enjoyed the show from the chairs next to our door. Awesome pool. Large size rooms. A minute or two walk to the boardwalk. We would definitely book here again. The kids and I had a very nice time!

Very quick responses and very easy to communicate with. All directions were clear and easy. Awesome property and had a blast. Right on the beach!

Place was great. So much to do there in the facility. My only problem was the 10am checkout. I need 11am checkouts

Stayed one night. Comfortable bed and great pillows. Super clean. Highly recommend; would definitely stay again!
