This place is AMAZING! Secluded, peaceful and has the best views. Stephanie was available with the 2 questions I had and responded quickly. The house is better than anticipated and the views were out of this world. 45 min drive to Boone or Banner Elk. Hot tub was great and the bed was comfy. I HIGHLY recommend this house!

I almost did not want to write a review so that no one would go here LOL!!!!! If you are looking for peace and serenity LOOK NO FURTHER- THIS IS IT! If yall could put a pool table and foosball table where the putting green is 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣! The place and host are phenomenal!!!!! We will be back!

The pictures do not do this property justice….the home & landscaping are awesome! It was too cold & windy for us to spend much time outside but that swing sure looked inviting, lol. And those who ventured to go out loved the hot tub! We booked Michael’s place bc our daughter’s birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year and having the double ovens, along with many pots & pans to cook with definitely made that task doable! One thing I wanted to share bc it’s usually important for our group when we travel, is the bedroom locations. Bedroom 1 is the only one located on the lower level. Bathroom is unattached. Bedroom 3 is the primary on the main level, with an attached primary bathroom. Main level also has a half bathroom. Bedroom 2 & bedroom 4 (bunk room) are on the upper level. Upper level tended to be a little cold for us while sleeping, but again, it was super cold & windy during our stay. And running the main level fireplace forced that hot air upstairs. We had a great & relaxing stay!

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

House and experience were 10/10. Porch wrapping around the home, combined with the fenced in back yard, makes it one of a kind. Host was a pleasure to do business with. Definitely coming back.

Host is absolutely amazing, couldn’t have asked for anyone better. This is an amazing place to stay, very quiet and relaxing. Our family of 5 felt at home here and would recommend to anyone ❤️

Great stay! Would recommend

The house was great! Lots of room for three families. We did not get to take advantage of all the amenities but it was nice to know they were there if we needed them. We were in the area for a family event in Blowing Rock and it was a convenient drive and the town of Blowing Rock was adorable- lots of restaurants and shops to explore. We would stay again for sure.

Our family had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. One of the most well stocked places I’ve stayed at. Plenty of toiletries, cookware, dishes, etc etc. The cabin was very clean at check-in. Easy to use wood-stove, with a wood shed stacked floor to ceiling with tons of wood already cut to use. Host was very responsive. My daughter especially loved the multi player arcade game upstairs. VERY private and secluded location…. Most cabins I’ve stayed at promise privacy and seclusion and end up being very misleading- this one is what it says it is. Plenty of extra blankets if needed, beds were very comfy. Hot tub was enjoyable, grill on the deck worked very well, I have zero complaints. We will probably be booking this place again. If you’re looking for a true getaway with actual privacy and seclusion, this is the place to stay.

Nicole’s home was amazing. The view was incredible and the cabin was so cozy and peaceful - everything we were wanting for this trip. The kitchen had everything you could imagine and there were very thoughtful details left for us to enjoy. Nicole communicated so many details leading up to the trip and checked in during our stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. The hot tub was a great perk and was clean and had the best view of the mountains. Nicole truly thought of everything to make this feel like your home away from home. It was so peaceful and serene. We will definitely be back! A huge thank you to Nicole for sharing her space with us.

The house is cute, the hot tub is a big plus. The home is smaller than I expected from the pics, which was fine - the only things that may need consideration for whatever type of group you're traveling with - the upstairs bedrooms share a wall. we could fairly clearly hear our friends talking at a normal pitch in the other room. - there's one bathroom upstairs & 1 downstairs, so each room "technically" has its own bathroom, but neither in the room Don't forget toiletries! we've apparently all gotten spoiled bc 1 person brought body wash & that's all we had. That's not a knock on the property - I don't think they listed that amenity, it's just so a relatively common one, so important to know. wilkesboro & west Jefferson are both about ~30ish min away, so location is great. trash drop off was easy. hosts were responsive, but we didn't really need anything, which is also a plus.

Awesome cabin with great views and a wonderful community

Five star Location/Home/experience. This home has everything to accommodate families and fur babies. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived! Definitely arrive before night fall! It's do able at night if your familiaire with driving up a mountain etc. We had one non AWD vehicle and it did struggle a bit coming up the driveway lol! Hiking trails are great! We have young kiddos and they kept up with the rest of us on the trails! There is a little bit of everything to do here! From cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, Playing games downstairs, soaking in the Hot tub or just simply taking in the million dollar views! The host Barbra is lovely!! You can tell she genuinely cares about her guest and the upkeep of the home. PLENTY of pillows, blankets and fresh towels. We will absolutely visit again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Banjos Cabin, and will definitely be back in the future. It is very comfortable and has good vibes. The location is just what I was looking for- not a soul in sight. It was very peaceful with the sound of the creek flowing by.

We loved everything about our stay at Dancing Bears at Dawnview. The cabin is adorable and very clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, beautiful views, awesome hot tub and firepit, and nestled in the most perfect location. Deborah was a wonderful host, with great communication and providing helpful info and tips. We can’t wait to come back and stay again soon!!

Three of us stayed at Heaven's Door Mountain Retreat in Moravian Falls, NC and had an amazing time! The wooded location and the cabin provided privacy, tranquility and much needed peaceful sleep. The cabin was immaculate, decorated beautifully, comfortable, spacious and yet very cozy offering all the modern amenities listed. We especially enjoyed coffee and tea on the front porch and reading /writing in the upstairs loft while listening to music from the Bose surround system which can be played inside and outside the cabin. The kitchen is lovely and provides all the necessities if one wants to cook. However, we choose to go to nearby local restaurants for dinner. Communication with our gracious and friendly hosts, Michael and Judy, made everything from booking the cabin to checking out hassle free. They provided many special thoughtful touches like a Welcoming Basket full of goodies. We definitely plan on coming back ! Thank you so much Michael and Judy for sharing your home!
